《Irondad and Spiderson One Shots》I don't plan on letting go

Summary- When Peter and his class are on a trip and heading there, something goes wrong and Peter must make a choice.
(Peter's P.O.V)
I sit on the bus beside Ned, feeling my senses start to buzz louder and louder with every bump and turn. Something was wrong and i couldn't work out what it was.
"Dude, what's wrong" Ned asks from beside me, seeing my obviously worried face.
Sighing i stop looking out the window for any signs of danger and reply, "I don't know dude. Something just feels, off"
Neds face seems to light up in a way that makes me cringe. "Is it, you know, spider issue" He asks, sounding excited.
I look around making sure he wasn't heard: i always worry he will say it too loudly and let my identity out.
I send a warning glare toward him "Ned. It's not something you want to happen" I say, having an edge to my voice that shows just how serious i was.
He seems to understand as he quickly looks down replying "Sorry dude."
I stay silent, trying desperately to work out what horrors could occur.
-
Now my senses are screaming and i know something will happen, i'm just not sure what.
Without thinking i grab my phone and call my dad.
"Hey kiddo what's wrong. Thought you were on a trip" Dad says.
"Somethings wr-" My voice is cut of the the bus jolts harshly and screams echo all across the bus.
I get sent flying but quickly grab onto the seat to stop my decent, thankfully no one else had the same fate as i did.
I look around the bus and see everyone unconscious.
I look outside and see the bus hanging of the side of the edge of the bridge. I search for my phone but see it nowhere in sight.

I start to panic as the bus starts to slowly tip over the edge, and i start to hope that my dad will get here in time to help.
I shut my eyes and think over all my options. Sighing angrily i role up my sleeves to reveal my shooters.
Please hurry dad.
As soon as i stand i feel the bus lurch and the water coming closer and closer.
With no time to spare, i hastily shoot a web to the side of the bridge and another to the bus.
The pain comes quickly. Lighting up my veins in hot white pain, making black dots dance in my vision and my muscles pull taunt with the weight i have to hold up.
I shut my eyes and grit my teeth, as i hear shouting from the bus below me, and from the road.
I can vaguely hear people shout 'Oh my God it's Spiderman' and some saying 'Peter is Spiderman'. But i block it all out, trying desperately to keep the bus from falling into the turrence of water below and surrounding us.
The pain grows with every passing second that i hold up the increasingly heavy bus. Everyone now awake and moving, making it shake uncontrollably and straining my arms more and more.
Excruciatingly slowly i can feel my shoulders pop out of their sockets, and my muscles slowly tear in two. I can feel myself slowly detach from my body, trying to get away from the pain and numbing every sense i have, almost like i was just a corpse, hanging there.
"KID" I hear my dad distantly shout from, somewhere.
I see his red and gold suit shooting toward me, then ducking down to the bus.
As soon as the weight is gone i feel relief flood my body. And before i know it, i'm falling.

I can vaguely hear someone shout my name but it is all muffled by my unawareness. Everything goes cold as i slam into something hard, then start to slowly sink.
Somewhere in the back of my mind i know i should try to get back up, back to the surface so i can breath. But everything aches and all i want is to sleep for a million years, so instead i choose to float slowly downward.
Again something hard grabs me, and instead of falling down, im being pulled up.
I can feel the harsh blow of wind that batters me when we breach the surface, the sun rays shooting down at me, casting it's harsh glare onto me.
The next thing i feel is the ground, myself being carefully laid down onto the floor.
I feel a hand running through my wet hair and someone say "Come on Petey. Time to wake up bubba."
I groan and crack my eyes open, seeing my dads worried eyes trained on me.
"Hey Petey Pie" My dad says as he looks at me.
"Hey dad" I mumble, still feeling like i could sleep for years, and the pain in my shoulders and arms slowly coming back into focus.
"I'm sorry buddy. Looks like we're going to have to tell the world who you really are" He says, making me open my eyes properly and look around.
My class stands off to the side, all looking onto us with shock and administration in their eyes. Off to the side of them stood a crowd of people, all having phones out, no doubt filming the whole thing.
I groan and shut my eyes saying quietly "Can we go home."
Dads hand is back in my hair as he says, "Yeah Petey, we can go home. We gotta get you looked at."
Just as i get lifted into his arms, everyone steps forward thanking me.
I just send them all a weary smile before we leave. Letting exhaustion wash over me again i close my eyes and lean my head against the arc reactor, letting my eye lids slide shut and the darkness consume me.
"I love you dad." I whisper.
"I love you too kiddo" Dad says from above me.

Deadman (A Post-Apoc Litrpg)
Even after the bombs fell, even after countries unleashed weapons beyond imagining on one another, even after lawlessness became the norm, people still expect their mail. As a deadman, I'm uniquely suited to deliver it. Rads don't bother me, and people who try to hurt me typically wind up dead. Sure, humans may not like dealing with a face like mine, but hey, you can't beat my express rates. A dystopian litrpg in the vein of Fallout and The Postman *1500+ words per chapter *Updates Tuesdays and Thursdays
8 549Path of Divinity
The world has been assimilated by the Celestial Archives, a vast system designed to fight the forces that seek to destroy the universe. For most, it's a holy cause that rewards victory with stats, levels, and skills. For Hunter Gold, it's the start of a nightmare. Even in a system dominated by paths, he finds himself taking the road less traveled. This is a work in progress. Major editing will be done after the book is complete, so there will be egregious typos and parts that make no sense whatsoever. Please feel free to point any and all of these things out. Chapters WILL get edited, and that editing might break earlier chapters. I will attempt to keep readers apprised of all changes. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated. This is kind of something fun I wanted to write after reading stories like The New World, System Apocalypse, and the Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. I don't know how serious I will be about this story, but I just want to try it out. I imagine that it will become a love child between Fable, Diablo, and Devil May Cry. Enjoy!
