Summary- Peter Parker, the lovable, joyful one of the avengers. Their light, isn't the same. Is it him? Or something darker, dangerous?
(Third Person P.O.V)
The red glow of the light above casted a sinister shadow over the warehouse, the avengers held their weapons tightly, hesitant to use them.
Something has happened to the youngest, something dark has taken him over, holding him captive in the darkest depths of his mind.
Peter walked into the warehouse, the echo of his feet announcing his presence.
A twisted smile warped his face, his eyes glint with evilness under the red glow, a shadow deepening the sick faded colour of his skin.
The darkness consuming his eyes, dimming the usual pale complection of the skin around them.
A knife gripped tightly in his hands, jagged and broken, looking sinister with the red shimmer and the light coating of blood, some blood splattered his hands in spots.
The knife smeared with sins and pain.
He spins the knife in his hand as he stops in a puddle, coloring the clear liquid and staining it pink from the blood.
He hums a tune almost soundlessly, yet it echos around the warehouse.
"Come out. Come out. Wherever you are" Peter says, voice deadly and calm.
The avengers blood runs cold at the emotionless tone of his voice.
Slowly they back up, not wanting to hurt their little spider.
The hum grows stronger and soon he starts to sing it, his tone dark and evil, freezing the air around him with every word uttered from his mouth.
He places his knife on the wall and drags it along.
"Ring around the rosie" The shrill sound of the knife against the wall piercing the eerie silence. His voice echoes around, creating a distance.

"A pocket full of posies". His voice void of his bubbliness, now replaced with darkness. A bird crows in the background, almost like it's being commanded by the dark presence of the room.
"Ashes. Ashes". Pipes drip down icy water, sending an ominous sound across the warehouse. Thunder rumbles from around them and the warehouse lighting up as lightning erupts all around them, illuminating the blood and showing the dark shadows of the room.
"We. all. Fall. Down" With each word, birds caw, lighting and thunder consume the skies above, rain pounding against the half detached ceiling. The knife still on the wall, sparks lighting the room.
The avengers all pull against each other, tony's eyes glisten with tears as he struggles to get to his son.
Steve gras his shoulder and pulls him back, a sense of urgency in his eyes.
Suddenly it goes quite, no lighting or thunder, no birds, no knife.
A laugh cuts through the silence, dark and cold.
"I know you're here. Don't hide in the shadows. Let me see your faces so i can see the pain as i break every bone in your little bodies" Peter says, his head tilting and an innocent smile taking his face hostage.
His steps echo again across the floor, getting closer and closer to the avengers.
They take a step back but something falls, alerting the spider of their presence.
Peter turns in the direction of the sound, a smirk growing on his face and his knife held tightly beside him.
"Ready or not. Here. I. Come" He voice turns deeper and darker, the red light flickers around them, his brown doe eyes darken to become almost black.
When Peter comes into view of the avengers their hearts momentarily stop as his dark eyes seem to light up in joy at their fear.

Almost like he feeds on pain and chaos; uses it against them. He moves forward slowly, almost savouring the moment.
The smell accompanying the young spider is eye watering, death and blood seem to swarm all the avengers senses, blocking everything else out.
Just a few feet away from them, baring teeth and darkness swarming them he stops.
His black eyes turn to brown as he stumbles back, "No. Stop" he whispers, his voice back to normal and more scared then it has ever sounded, cracking under the strain of fighting for control.
The knife clatters to the floor, the avengers stand there shocked, unsure of what to do.
Peter screams as he falls to his knees, his hands grabbing his head and pulling at his hair.
"YOU WON'T HURT THEM" he screams.
His eyes start to turn black again and the darkness starts to return, like a wave, one that could drag him down and never let him up, drowning him under the darkness and pain.
Almost breathlessly he says "if i can't have my own life, you can't be alive".
He lunges to the bloody knife on the floor, and grabs it shakily.
Just as his eyes turn completely black he plunges the knife into his chest.
With the blow complete he pulls it out, eyes seemingly vacant of colour and life.
Tony runs forward as the knife clatters again to the floor, Peter following shortly after with a heavy thud that echos around, breaking the hearts of the avengers even more than before.
As Tony lifts his head onto his lap, Peter starts to cough up a black substance.
His eyes start to return back to the Bambi colour everyone knows and loves, removed of all the hatred and pain of the past events.
Tony pushes hard against the stab wound trying to stem the bleeding, whispering little things to let him know he is there for his child. The darkness seems to seep from Peter all around them, black blood coming from his mouth and nose and oozing into Tony's chest.
"M'sorry. He had control. I c-couldn't stop him. I'm sorry" Peter wheezes out.
Tony shushes him, just thankful to have his kid back.
"It's alright Petey. You're so strong bubba" Tony cries out.
"You're back. You're back and you're safe." He says kissing his son's forehead.

Aspect of the Beast
This story is being rewritten! The new version, A Price in Memory, can be found here. I highly suggest you read the new version as this one won't be completed. For there are things that dwell in the realm of the dead that should never be allowed to cross over.

Life is Feudal
No OP stuff, status bars, levels or skills. This story is in favour of more realistic setting in a world of humans and various monsters. "Behind the mask of the assertive, resolute facade that employs ruthless routes at any given moment, lies the frail, anxious heart that were once but a puny human. Reviled and revered by many, none would ever know my true allegiance lies within myself, merely trying to survive this mess." Just the life of a grumpy man child living in a terrible piece of shit or a desolate state in which I call an alternate historical take on medieval Europe. Living as a peasant who is forced to take up arms to defend his own kin. This story grants an insightful take on the life of people living under constant danger, from vying nobles who commit atrocities in the name of justice, eager nations and barbarians aiming to take a piece of the bountiful land and mythical divine monsters who resembles a walking catastrophe in any possible way. [If you're easily offended by alternate-history religion and cultural practices, then you shouldn't read this.]

Magikind
Disclaimer: This is a low-fantasy, soft-sci-fi genre. In fact, it's a variety of genres, so don't be too put off by the tags Through several centuries of selective breeding, these beings, known as mages, have become part of the very foundations of society. However, some humans refused to change or adapt along with them. They believed in purity and refused to interbreed with magikind. Known as the manush, they were a rarity among society. Now, in the fifth millennia, the manush are thought to be extinct. With magikind ruling the world, a three-way war grips society between Eurasia, Afro-Australian Alliance and The Americas. In these uncertain times, a manush called Gin enters the Eurasian army. From there, our journey unfolds. A story of how mankind could realistically evolve while still pushing boundaries. PS.
