《To Be A Dad (Irondad and Spiderson)》42: Getting Prepared

Jarvis rolled his eyes at the reports in front of him. "Sir, if I may, are we surprised that they left?" The AI was beyond frustrated, of course, the Avengers decided to leave Wakanda.
Tony elbowed him and sighed. "No, not really. We're all here, and we have more back up, it's up to us to find them and to get ready for a fight." The rest nodded.
Jarvis sat down next to Peter, letting the kid cuddle into his side. Peter was such a cuddle bug that no one notices when he cuddles into them anymore. "So what is our plan?"
"We can either wait for Thanos' next attack or we can go out and find him," Carol spoke up from her spot.
"Do you know where he is?" Rocket asked her, she only shrugged. "So we have to wait then?"
"It's most likely the only way, Vision left, and if Thanos is collecting Stones we need to find him." Tony looked out the window, regretting letting Vision leave the tower.
"I can contact him if you'd like Sir," Jarvis said as he wrapped a blanket around Peter. "I'm sure he'd come back if he knew." Tony nodded.
"Try that and see if he'll come back." Jarvis started staring at the floor, eyes swirling with codes. The rest kept mumbling and wondering what else to do. "The time stone is in good hands with Stephen. We just have to protect the two we have."
Jarvis rolled his eyes before he spoke. "Vision believes that he can handle it, he says he'll come when necessary." Jarvis tried not to get too mad with the next part. "He's with Miss Maximoff."
Jarvis hated Wanda, she treats Tony so poorly, even when he was just trying to keep her safe. The blond honestly wanted Vision to find someone better.

"He's with Wanda? Is Wanda with the Avengers?" Hope asked him only to get a shake of head.
"No, they're on a getaway. They don't know where the rest are." Tony sighed and sat down next to Stephen.
"We'll figure it out slowly," Carol said, making the rest of them look at her doubtfully.

Tony laid down with Peter cuddled into his side. He was worried about everything but more importantly of Peter. The kid was stubborn and usually wanted to help him out. "Pete?" Peter sleepily hummed, and Tony smiled, ruffling his hair. "You have to promise me you'll be careful when we're dealing with Thanos. If the battle doesn't take place on earth, you do not go."
Peter sat up rubbing his eyes. "But dad! I have to help!" Tony shook his head, bringing the kid back into the cuddle.
"No Piccolo, you don't. You need to stay safe. I need you to stay safe. If I lose you, I don't know what I'd do, you Pete are the most important thing to me so you have to promise you'll be safe."
Peter looked down but nodded.

Transformers: Heroes
Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universe. A century ago, the eons-old war between the Autobots and the Decepticons suddenly and inexplicably came to an end. Since then, many have gone their separate ways, whilst others still hold onto the bitter memories of war. Now, as Autobots and Neutrals join forces in a new directive to capture every Decepticon still left alive, it appears that the Autobots will finally get their chance to even the score, and defeat their enemies once and for all. But when they become the target of seemingly random, yet terrifying attacks, some begin to realize that the enemy may be much closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined. Author's Notes: While it helps to have a little bit of prior knowledge about the world of Transformers, you don't need to be a Transformers fan to enjoy this story, or even a Decepticons fan! One thing I can say for sure is that it is unlike any Transformers fan fiction you've ever come across. This story aims to explore one possible set of motivations in depth in a setting of ongoing conflict between the Autobots (and, more recently, the Alliance - a collaboration between Autobots and Neutrals) and the Decepticons. Although this story takes a lot of things from the G1 cartoon, it is by no means strictly G1 toon oriented and introduces characters and/or ideas from other continuities (Sentinel Prime, Jhiaxus, Thunderblast and Rook (not the Autobot Rook - the other Rook!). Set primarily on Cybertron and Alternity City, it also deviates from certain key elements common in Transformers canon. For one thing, the general consensus that all Autobots are good and all Decepticons are bad is challenged, and a new meaning to the motivations behind their conflict is offered (which is a recurring theme in my Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universes). Some personalities have been altered from their canonical profiles as a necessity (Megatron being the most obvious example) and developed to a much deeper level than the original cartoon allowed. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading.
