Ever since the spider bite, Peter's abilities would enhance. But little did they know that as Peter would grow up and go through the embarrassing puberty stage, he would gain new abilities, some of them causing him to be animal like.
Not in a bad way, though.
The first change that would come along was one morning when he woke up in the tower. His mouth felt full, but Peter wrote it off, thinking he was just tired. But when he was about to brush his teeth, you could only imagine the unholy screeching that came out of his mouth.
Tony then barged in.
"Peter! Peter, are you okay!?"
He then saw Peter covering his mouth, whimpering.
"Peter, what's the matter!? Open your mouth, let me see."
Peter then uncovered his mouth and showed the large fangs he had...
"Woah. Kiddo, when did this happen?"
"I don't know! I just woke up and was about to brush my teeth!"
"Don't worry, I'm gonna have a better look at this..."

"Alright, kiddo, sit here. Bruce, come join me."
"Right behind you."
Peter got on top of the medical table and realized something.
"Wait! What about school!?"
"Already took care of that with your Aunt. Now, Peter, this is gonna sound super gross... but I'm gonna need you to bite this..."
"Oh, ew! A rat!?"
"I know, but you gotta. Don't worry, he's clean."
But then Bruce and Tony noticed the way Peter was suddenly staring at the rat. He looked... hungry.
"Peter...?"
Tony kept his distance, but still close enough for a good look at what Peter was going to do.
Bruce kept close to Tony.
Then... Peter's mouth opened, and like a snake, speedily pounced the rat and bit into it, his fangs truly sinking into the flesh of the rat.

They watched as Peter shook his head harshly, the rat weakening. It died, and Peter backed away in shock.
"Mr. Stark, I-!"
"No no! It's okay! This is fine, I promise."
Tony and Peter then looked into the monitor.
"Huh. Venom. Spider fangs. Wow! I can't believe it, Mr. Stark!"
"Neither can I, kiddo. This is amazing. You have a venomous bite now."
"Can we keep this secret, though?"
"Not a prob, kid. That can be done."

Peter was on the floor, just lying about when he felt something on his hand. He looked, and there was a spider. He smiled, gently lifted his hand, and spoke to it.
"Hey. Thanks for the wake up crawl, Annabelle. You're looking lovely today."
He then placed the spider down.
"Oh, thank you." Annabelle said in a small and feeble voice.
"Um, Peter?"
Peter looked up and saw Tony.
"You can talk to spiders?"
"Yeah. That's Annabelle. Up there is-"
"OMG, THERE'S MORE!?!?"

It was the winter time when all of this happened, so Peter was slowly growing more and more tired. He honestly had no idea what was going on, so he went to Tony and Bruce for help.
Bruce smiled.
"Peter, you're on hibernation mode. Spiders sleep during the winter time."
"Ugh...."
"Well then, that means plenty of naps, and long ones, especially on the weekend. Luckily, I already have a pretty good time frame. So Peter, right now, it's nap time for you."
"Awwww, I don't want a nap! I'm not five!"
Tony smirked.
"Sorry, Petey Pie, but you hear what Brucie said. Nap time."
Tony then picked Peter up and took him to his room. While doing so, he and Peter had a cute "Are not, are too" argument as he put Peter to bed.

"No I'm not."
"Yeah you are."
"No... *yawn*... I'm not..."
"Ha, yes, you are."
"No... I'm... I'm nu..."
Peter fell asleep very quickly, and Tony kissed Peter's forehead.
"Yes, you are."

Next year, in the fall, Peter was now fifteen. So, he was quite mature. And now, he was having some... weird feelings. Especially when he was around girls. He controlled himself for the rest of the day, and by the time he was in the tower, he retreated to his room. Tony and Bruce followed him.
"Peter? Are you okay!?"
After some time investigating in the lab...
"Pfffttt, ahahaha! OMG! Peter!"
"What!? What is it!?"
"Peter, it's the fall! It's mating season for spiders!"
Peter blushed heavily.
"...... EEEEEWWWWWW!!! NO!"
"Yep!"
"No! Ew, that's gross!"
"It's not gross, Peter, you're just growing up!"
"I'm going to bed..."

Peter kept looking at Tony, begging for ice cream.
"No, Peter."
"Please!"
"No."
"Pwease?"
Each "please" from Peter got cuter than before, making it really difficult for Tony to resist.
"Pwwwwwweeeeaaasssee?"
"N-n-no..."
Peter's puppy eyes got to its cutest.
"....... fine."
"Yay!"
Tony sighed as Peter left to get ready for the ice cream shop. Tony then got ready as well. After the ice cream shop, Tony looked at Peter with a smile.
"I swear, I'm gonna spoil the kid..."

Peter made it past all of the awkward puberty stuff by nineteen. Tony was with him all the way, and he managed to mature just fine.
