Peter was never really the best at telling others when he's badly hurt.
Every. Single. Mission.
And one time was the last straw for the family.
And they were pissed.
As of now, the family were arguing with Peter about not telling them about his stab wound.
Let us quickly turn back the clock...

"Is everyone alright!?"
The Avengers were up against the Vulture, and he was surprisingly strong to easily go up against multiple hero's. But luckily, he was slowing down, getting tired from fighting.
But he he still had one last thing e wanted to do before putting out back behind bars.
"Yeah, we're all good! Peter's coming in on Vulture!"
"Be careful Pete!"
One last stab at victory.
Peter then got close to Vulture, one of the medal feathers on Vultures wings shoots out and stabs Peter, but that doesn't stop him from webbing him in.
"We got him!"
"Peter, are you okay!?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little hurt..."
"That's okay. It happens. Let's all head home now..."

And now, it was well past dinner, everyone was in the med bay with Peter, and no one could reason with him.
Not even Pepper!
"Peter, you fainted from blood loss before you got to eat! How can not freak out!?" Natasha yelled.
"Look, I'm okay! I'm gonna be fine! Besides, this is the only time a stab would have actually killed me!"
"Peter!" Tony stressed. "ANY stab can kill you!"
"Not when you're used to it, have had worse stabs, and know how to mend them on your own!"
Everyone was silent upon hearing that.
"... you know how to treat stab wounds?"
"Yeah! I was Spider-Man before you, Mr. Stark. What makes you think I haven't gotten shot or stabbed during those times too?"

"Well..."
"And plus, it's not that hard. Just give me a little sewing kit and I'm good! I'm not dying anytime soon!"
Everyone was at a loss for words, and Tony wasn't sure what to do.
"... but fine, I'll let you know when I'm hurt... you know, so you don't freak out."
"Thank god. But... can you show us how you do it?" Bucky asked.
"Sure! But, and this is going to sound random, I'm gonna need an arm that has been stabbed or shot."
So Tony got Peter a fake arm, Peter was then given a sewing kit, and he showed everyone how it was done.

Here you go: This is Urban-fantasy but a little bit of a different spin. Often the protagonists in such stories tend to be the bigger fish in their world, or at least far from small fry. Be they legendary boogie men or badass wizards (which is in no way a bad thing, I love a lot of those stories.) But I thought it would be fun to have a protagonist who's far closer to the bottom end of the scale. He has some magic, and it's potent in its own way. But he isn't the big dog or a fighting machine. Outside of his bubble of influence, our protagonist is essentially a normal human as far as powers are concerned. And while you should be warned that this story will get dark in some places it's (hopefully) balanced out by humor and the lighter stuff. I'm not sure how to end this synopsis section so I'll just say bye. Bye!

Penance's Pursuit
This future sci-fi fantasy follows the progression of a few main characters as they navigate their unique spheres of life in the year 2242. The story focuses heavily on themes of guilt, personal failing, and penance. The conflict revolves around two main concepts: Man vs. Himself (Internal conflict) and Man vs Man (External conflict). The internal conflicts focus on many of the characters' inner demons and how each of them deal with the scars of the past. The external conflict centers around a mysterious criminal organization called Nexus that conducts human trafficking. There are three groups of main characters. The first group belong to a vigilante mercenary organization called Ab Aeterno. Titus, Venna, and Benjamin are Achilles team. This team is a part of Ab Aeterno's special forces branch which is designated Demon Stalkers. Their goal and mission is to perform assassinations, abductions, and destabilization operations on criminal organizations throughout the solar system. Their current mission places them directly in the path of Nexus. Titus interacted with them in his past and they seem to have unlimited reach, resources, and power. As the team faces this threat, old wounds will surface and dangerous connections to the past will emerge. The second group of characters are on the Mars colony. Randal Page is an analyst for a talent scout company on Mars. He is faced with the reality that the company he thought he was working for is in fact Nexus. His story centers around his coming to realize the duplicity of the company he works for and then his response to the startling realization of his own ignorant involvement. Also on Mars is a woman named FaRarra Njokko. She is a Nexus sex slave in a brothel on Mars and is known by the stage name of Stardust. She is striving to escape when her path crosses with Randal. The final main character is Preston Coretel. He is a monk with a mysterious and shady past. He is on the run from Nexus in more ways than one. He is seeking sanctuary on an abandoned monastery space station in order to avoid agents of Nexus and to atone for his previous involvement with Nexus.
