Ever since he was born, Peter couldn't hear anything. He could only speak through sign language, and even then it was hard to communicate, so he had to depend on his phone.

It wasn't easy. At first, the teacher thought he was lying, and would take his phone away. He was made fun of in the streets and in school. And Peter couldn't hear anything, so he would unintentionally get into all sorts of trouble. Pete would always head home, crying himself to sleep every night with his Aunt listening helplessly. She wasn't sure what to do. How do you help a deaf kid, other than learning sign language?

Soon, after many years of growing up like an outcast, Peter is fifteen years of age. He's now in high school, and you can only imagine Mays happiness when she found out that Peter finally had friends.

And Peter did. After a couple of months, May met Ned and MJ, and they knew sign language, much to Mays relief. Peter no longer felt alone, he now had Ned and MJ.

But one day, Peter would truly catch a break.

On a field trip to the Stark Tower, they would have the chance to have a Q and A with the one and only Tony Stark.

The pair giggled wildly, but managed to calm themselves down. After a lot questions, it was Peter's turn. He got nervous.

"Hey kid, you okay?"

All of the kids snickered, and Peter couldn't hear it, but he could tell.

"Quiet!"

The class shut up.

Tony then gave Peter a good look until he realized...

Everyone gasped, and Peter's smile grew.

Tony made sure to speak out loud while the two signed so everyone could understand.

Everyone then looked at Tony, waiting for his answer.

Tony then had Bruce write down the problem and Peter went up, sharing a look with Ned. Ned gave him a thumbs up, and Peter was ready. Within a few minutes, Peter had the problem solved, much to Bruce's, Tony's, and everybody's shock.

It's been two years since the trip, and Peter was happier than ever under Tony's wing. He isn't as disrespected as he used to be in school, probably because they knew better than to mess with "Tony's kid", but whatever. Peter liked the new respect. As for Tony himself, he never thought he'd have such a close relationship with the man that is now a father to him, and be a son to Tony.
