For Short_Storiesss. Enjoy!
And plus, why not start this book with the good old classic field trip fic?
It's no surprise that Peter was bored out of his mind. Because of his smarts, whatever the teacher said, he already knew long ago. When he was five, he was able to explain radiation to his flustered kindergarten teacher. But that didn't matter. He was always kept in a certain grade matching with his age because nobody wanted Peter's socializing to hinder.
Not that Peter would have cared. But then again, he wouldn't have met Ned and MJ. And who else was Peter gonna nerd out with? But then again, he wouldn't have to deal with Flash, the school bully and idiot. Ever since Flash, everyone, even the teachers, thinks Peter is a liar when it comes to his internship with Tony Stark. And while Peter understands why, cuz', well, it's Tony Stark, it still hurts.
An announcement was then made, but Peter wasn't really listening. He was watching the clock go by until the bell finally rang. Peter then got up without hesitation and was close to the door.
"Mr. Parker, where do you think you're going?"
"Home."
"But I'm going to say something!"
"Like anyone is going to listen."
"Peter, I'm gonna talk about the test!"
"There isn't anything you haven't taught that I don't already know."
"Oh really? Okay then, random question, what's five hundred times sixty?"
"Thirty thousand. Can I go now?"
The teacher had a shocked look on her face and quickly used her calculator, only to then see that Peter was right.
"Welp, looks like I can go."
Peter then walked off and went straight to the back where the limo was, waiting for him.
"Hey Happy."
"Mhm."
They then drove off with Peter looking out the window, impressed with himself. He wasn't expecting to act that way, especially towards a teacher. Maybe he was tired of their bull? Who knows? Peter thunk about this as he reached the tower, went inside to the penthouse, and walked straight up to Tony on the couch.
"Hey, kid. You alright? You look grumpy."
Peter slumped on the couch with his legs hanging out and his face on Tony's lap.
"What's up?"
Peter talked without moving his face from Tony's lap, so everything came out muffled. At this point though, Tony knew Peter's muffles like he knew Spanish, so he knew what Peter was saying.

"Mmmmmfffff, grrr, greph!"
"Huh."
"Ahdmdmne."
"Wow! Really?"
"Sjaidmwmsms."
"I see."
"AKSKD WDKDJWND SKCKEMEM."
"Calm down. And yes, I don't like that teacher of yours either."
"AJDNWNTJFIEJEJ. EIFJEMWMXJSKE."
"Wow, you did that!? I'm proud of you, kiddo."
"Heh..."
Peter then moved his head to breathe in, sat next to Tony, and got into the fetal position with his head on back on Tony's lap.
"It's gonna be okay, kiddo."
Tony then tousled Peter's hair as Peter started to relax, and even fell asleep.
——-
"ACHOO!!!"
That was pretty loud sneeze since Tony could hear it from his room. He got out and went to Peter's to check on him. He couldn't believe how pale Peter was.
"FRIDAY, can you check him?"
"He has a very high fever sir, likely a flu."
"A flu? It's not winter!"
"I know sir, but it seems that he has it."
"Well, kiddo, you have to stay today."
"What!? But-"
"No buts. And even if you get better, you have to stay in your room all day."
"Ugh, fine."
"By the way, a class won and gets a tour here, including your lab. Is that okay?"
"Fine, just as long as no one gets in here."
"That's good. See you later, kiddo. Karen, keep my kid company and entertain him."
"Yes, sir."
"Love ya, kiddo."
"Love you too, Mr. Stark."
Tony then kissed Peter's forehead and left the room.
Meanwhile, Peter started to speak with Karen.
"So Peter, what would you like to do?"
"Anything, really. Anything I can do in bed."
"How about you play some switch games?"
"Sounds good."
Karen then lowered a TV screen and a switch console.
"What would you like to play, Peter?"
"Some Breath of The Wild sounds good."
"Excellent choice."
The game was placed and Peter continued his file.
"Okay Ganon, prepare yourself..."
——-
It was now the afternoon. Outside, the class, little did Peter know, that was actually his was waiting outside. Flash kept jeering to the class that "Penis was too scared to show up".
Mr. Harrington had enough.
"Flash, as much as I do not approve Parker's lies, you have no excuse to act like this. Might I remind that you are only merely a placement for him in the decathlon? And only him?"

The class laughed while Flash trembled in anger.
"Burn." MJ whispered to Ned.
They all then head inside with their temporary badges, excited to see the inside. The tour was going pretty well so far, with meeting the Avengers, having lunch with them, including enjoying the cookies that Bucky made, and seeing the labs of individual interns.
"But..." said Cliar, the one giving the tour.
"Mr. Stark is excited to be with you guys when you see his personal interns lab."
Both of these prospects made the class and Mr. Harrington excited. Little did Peter know that Tony planned this. He heard about how they didn't believe Peter, so he set this up. Meanwhile, in his room, Peter was playing Splatoon, but then realized after ending a nettle that he wasn't too bad now.
"Thank god, I can get up now. I think my legs are numb."
Peter got up and kind of wobbled a little, but kept walking anyway. He went to his closet and wore a sweater with jeans...
(Just pretend it's a guy outfit... if you want.)
Peter thinking of possibly wearing the sneakers, but decided against it, and walked around his room barefoot. He didn't bother combing his hair and left it messy.
"I'm too tired for that. Man, that flu really left me a little weak... agh..."
Peter then flopped back onto the bed, and Karen proposed that he kept playing.
"Sure..."
Karen then moved the screen to Peter's personal lounge area...
Sat in his lounge chair...
And enjoyed playing more on his switch. Outside, everyone was waiting to see the personal intern. Tony had promised them knowing who the personal intern was.
"So, who is he?" Mr. Harrington asked.
"Well, he's actually a student in your class."
Everyone was silent.
"From... this class?"
"Yep."
"But everyone is here! Except..." Flash didn't finish the sentence, but everyone knew.
"Mr. Parker!?"
"Yep!"
Tony then allowed everyone inside, and they saw Peter's room...
Flash couldn't believe his eyes.
"Is this really Parker's room!?"
"Sure is. Why isn't he here though, he was sick with the flu this morning."
"He was?"
"Yeah. FRIDAY, where's Peter?"
"In his lounge room. He isn't as sick, but is still somewhat weak. He did t want to be stuck in his room, however."
"I get that. Can you open the doors to that room?"
"Yes, sir."
The doors opened, and everyone looked in to then see Peter playing on a switch, which Peter noticed, making him freeze in place.
"...."
"...."
".... hey guys."
"Parker, what the hell!?"
"Well, I did say I was working here. You choose to not believe me. And um, Mr. Stark?"
"Yes, Peter?"
"What were you thinking?"
"I just wanted to prove you right."
"You're crazy."
"Yeah, I know."
"Son of a-"
"Language!" A muffled star-spangled voice yelled out.
"How does he even know...?" Tony complained.
"Can they all get out of my room now?"
"Parker, we are so not done!" Flash stupidly yelled.
"What was that?"
"Uh..."
"What's not done?"
"Wait, I just realized." A student said. "This means a Flash was wrong!"
"Yep." Tony confirmed. "In fact, Flash, let me have a quick chat with you."
"Uh oh. Mama Bear..." Peter thought. And he could tell of that dangerous, seemingly calm, quiet voice Tony has whenever he was truly upset or angry.
Flash nervously walked up to Tony and Tony placed an arm around his shoulders so he couldn't escape his grasp.
"Now, Flash... that's your real name, right?"
"Well, Eugene is my real name..."
"Eugene. I want you, and everyone else in this room, to take a good look at that child." He says, pointing to a confused Peter.
"What do you see? Ned?"
"Oh my god, he remembers!"
"Um, a best friend."
"Good. You there, Michelle?"
"I prefer MJ. And I see a an adorkable loser. You know, in a joking sort of way. An endearing term if you will."
Tony nodded in approval.
"Peter, I like her. Marry her, will ya?"
"OH MAH GOD, STAHP."
"But yeah, good answer. Teach?"
"Ah, a very intelligent young man. More than me, I can proudly say."
"Right again. So Flash, I suggest you don't hurt the amazing boy that is all of those things. Otherwise, your a-"
"Language!"
"Okay!! I'm gonna have your but on sale, so I can buy it and do nothing but kick it all day. Understood?"
As wrong as it was, everyone knew that if angry enough, Tony would find way how to make that possible. So, Flash quickly nodded and Tony nodded back.
"Good! Now, the tours over, everyone go home. And remember, you all signed contracts, don't say anything or the Avengers will be in your doorstep, got it?"
Tony didn't need an answer. The nods were enough and everyone left. He then got in Peter's lounge chair and Peter sat on top, and the pair cuddled as Peter beat the heck out of Ganon.
I hope it was good! Sorry it took a bit!

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes
