➰The Mansion➰
When the sun rose up, the group of friends decided to pay the mansion a visit after eating breakfast. The devastating five-minute-death-walk passed and without even realizing, they finally arrived on their destination. All of their mouths agape open, eyes almost bulging out of their sockets and bodies trembling indubitably with fear.
"Uhm so yeah, I think I'm still not mentally prepared for my death yet, give me a minute."
"Hoseok, relax. Everything is gonna be fine— Hopefully. Just remember what I told all of us to do."
The latter only heaved a deep breath and nodded, "When something creepy happens, run the other side and don't look back."
"Good, now let's go."
The area screamed that the house was haunted itself. The gates were rusty and old, the grass was rotting and the house had this dark eerie aura. To the left was a very old oak tree with a loosely hanging swing on the branch. To the right was a wide space that looked somewhat like a garden, on the center of that was a pile of rocks in a circular form with a wooden plank on top. They didn't know what's coming.
They slowly walked inside the path towards the doorstep, fright and anxiety mixed with every step. Namjoon was in front with the youngest beside him, ready to twist the rusty door knob of the front door when it suddenly opened by itself as if wanting them to enter. He gulped and looked at his friends, "I guess the ghost invited us in."
The brave youngest male took a step in with the other following behind. Being the scaredy cat that Hoseok was, clung to Taehyung as they walk forward. I mean, this wasn't some haunted house game, it was the real deal. And no one can blame him for that, because they all are scared. It was a matter of life and death situation. However, in an unnecessary note, they all stopped and admired the great interior of the mansion. It was technically the home of rich people.
"Okay, let's split into groups. Me, Jin and Taehyung will look upstairs, while Jimin, Yoongi, Hoseok and Jungkook down here. Remember, don't leave by yourself alone."

"Okay, we'll contact you when we find something." Yoongi nodded his head.
"If something happens, scream as loud as you can and we'll come right down." Jin waved his hand.
"Sure, that goes the same for you."
Yoongi and the others decided to walk around the wide lobby downstairs, taking a look at the creepy queued paintings hung on the wall. The youngest of the group pointed his finger on the first painting where a young couple was holding a baby on their hands, "This must be Janice when she was a baby."
"Can I just say that these painting are creeping the shit out of me." Hoseok's lips quivered as they moved on to the next picture. It was another photo of the a little girl, holding a teddy bear on her arm. The next was a painting of her much older, smiling sweetly as if showing her cute little dress and making her parents proud.
"She seemed so harmless here..." Jimin stroked the fine painting with his fingers, feeling it's broad texture. Staring at the little girl somewhat made his heart feel at ease.
"This next will make you think otherwise." Yoongi blurted and sure enough, the next painting was horrifying. Janice was showing off a sinister smile as she gripped unto her teddy tightly, it's eyes almost bulging out of the surface. The aura was completely different as if the Janice on the painting wasn't really her.
They all stared on the fifth painting, she was starting to look like the one Jimin sees in his dreams. Messy long black hair, eyes bloodshed, tan skin scattered with wounds and her smile displays pure evil. The white rugged dress flowed beneath her knees showing off her bruised legs. Just by looking at her portrait made them all had goosebumps.
This her parents did this to her? Or was she doing it to herself?
"I wonder why she became so... hateful."
The next painting made them all confused when it was blank, there was nothing on it. "Why is this blank?" Jungkook asked.
"I wouldn't want to find out." Hoseok retorts and moved forward. "Come on, let's go find that thing that belonged to her."

Meanwhile, upstairs with Namjoon's group, they entered quite a few rooms but nothing really seemed to be connected to Janice. Jin sighed heavily in dismay. "There's plenty of rooms in this place! Surely one of them could be Janice's!"
"What about that suspicious looking door at the end of the hallway?" Taehyung suggestively said, pointing at the said door located way back of the aisle.
"Well then, let's check it out!"
With Taehyung's lead, they hastily went to the room and twisted the doorknob that was unlocked much to their surprise, allowing them to enter the room. What welcomed them from the other side was a small bed, a few toys and dolls scattered in the room, the little pony that rocks back and forth and lots of messy drawings on the walls.
"This must be the nursery that Jimin spoke off." Namjoon commented, looking around the room.
"So... what are we supposed to look for hyung?" Taehyung coughed aggressively, swatting his hands from the dust coming from the mattress.
"I don't know exactly what. According to Elixir, we should try looking for something that was important to her."
The three lads searched for every corner of the room. On the drawers, under the bed, the closets and everywhere they can look into. "There's nothing in here!" Seokjin complained throwing his hands in the air.
"Yeah, hyung, how bout you call Yoongi and ask how they're doing?"
"I bet they haven't moved from where we left them yet." Jin chuckled pulled out his phone, quickly dialing Yoongi's number.
"We're still alive." Was the first thing that he heard as the call connected.
"That's a relief." Jin sarcastically replied. "Have you find anything yet?"
"No, just a couple of creepy paintings. We're on the living room right now."
As the two boys talked in the phone, Taehyung scrunched up his nose with eye brows arched when he heard someone calling out to him. "Tulong..."
He yelped quietly after turning his head on the corner and saw a little figure facing the wall. She was sobbing softly and her white dress was drenched in water, wetting the nice carpeted floor. Taehyung anxiously bit his lip and hesitatingly reached out his hand to touch the girl's shoulder but before he could, she quickly ran away and hid under the bed.
Taehyung blinked multiple times thinking if what he saw was just his imagination. He knelt down on the side of the bed before pulling the sheets up, revealing the little girl from earlier, covering her face as she continued to sob. "Who are you?" He quietly muttered in question.
"Hindi siya yung inaakala niyo..."
"What? I don't understand," Taehyung shook his head wanting to tell her he doesn't understand what she was telling him.
"Ilabas niyo ang katotohanan, alamin ang nakaraan at matatapos ang sumpa."
Taehyung's eye brows furrowed once again, thinking painfully deep and processing what was happening. He jolted up with a yelp when he felt an ice cold hand gripped into his wrist, she placed something like a chain of a necklace in his palm before forcefully closing it. "Set us free."
His phone dinged on his back pocket. He fished for the mobile and saw he had an unread message from an unknown contact. He opened the text, gasping at the photo he witnessed. It was a photo of a scribbled drawing, a little kid holding both hands of his stick figured parents. But something wasn't adding up...
"Taehyung!"
Jin and Namjoon ran to where the younger was with both worried look on their faces. "Tae! What have I told you? Don't go anywhere alone! Did something happen?!"
The latter remained silent and continued to stare at the chain necklace on his palm. He slowly stood up from the floor and intently looked at the two elders, "Hyung, I don't think we need to look for something. I say we start looking for the truth."
