➰The rosary➰
They all sat at the hotel's empty dining hall after placing all of their belongings inside their room. The reception lady, who they later found out her name was Elixir, just made enough tea for everybody to drink.
"Can you please tell us what you know about the Zamora mansion?" Jin spoke after sipping the green tea he just poured on his cup.
"Are you aware of the curse? I mean, is it even safe to talk about it?" Jungkook furrowed his brows at the girl.
"What... curse?" Elixir turned to the male with a confused look.
"Nevermind."
"So about the mansion," Yoongi muttered going back on topic since they seemed to dodge it somehow.
"Right. I don't know much about it, my grandmother used to tell me to never ever go anywhere near that place when I was a kid." Elixir lowered her head. "I, indeed followed her instructions. I mean, everyday I walk pass that street on my way to school back then and just merely looking at it give me the chills."
Hoseok but his lips anxiously, "Has anyone ever tried going inside it?"
"No, no one dared to. My grandmother told me that no one has entered there for over a century and a half according to what her grandmother told her. It's so old that it became famous to tourists somehow. Some people even tried buying it and turn it into a transient house since the mansion has a lot of wasted good rooms. But days later, these people are reported to go missing mysteriously."
"Well that certainly isn't making me any less terrified." Jimin gripped the arm of the person beside him who was coincidentally Yoongi.
"Do you know anything about their family background?" Taehyung lifted an eye brow, wincing when Jungkook suddenly nudged him on the ribs.

"My grandmother did say something about them but just to an extent."
"If it's possible, can you tell us?"
Elixir rested his chin on her palm and continued, "Well I know that they were once a wealthy family from another country and had a lovely daughter–"
"Lovely," Jimin scoffed as soon as he heard the word.
"–but soon went out of business when their daughter died not too long after her eighth birthday."
"That's something I remember clearly why." Jungkook rolled his eyes.
"I'm sorry but do you know what their daughter's name was?" Namjoon anxiously asked hoping her answer was no.
"No, my grandmother didn't tell me because she never knew herself. She only knows the Zamora family by what she used to hear when she was a kid." Elixir shook her head slowly.
All of them sighed in relief when they found out she didn't knew her name, meaning she's safe. They didn't want anybody to be involved in this anymore, they just wanted it to stop. "Why? Does this have to do with the curse you were saying earlier?" They froze at Nabi's question.
"No, not at all." Namjoon shook his head and flashed her an assuring smile. Namjoon figured out that even if someone knew the Zamora's past or Janice's backstory, she won't haunt you as long as you don't know her name cause knowing her name will summon her to this realm and will haunt whoever knows her (by name).
"Are you gonna enter the Zamora mansion?" Elixir's eyes widen when the seven guys in front of her didn't speak and just looked down. "Wow you guys are either dumb or brave."
"Probably a mixture of both." Yoongi cracked a joke that sent a smile to her face.

"Let's just say we doing this not by choice but because we really have to." Jin chuckled awkwardly, trying to act as if he wasn't at the slightest bit scared.
"Well I pray you get out of there safe. I wish I could help you somehow..." Elixir looked down and her eyes went wide. A smile flashed on her face when she unhooked the silver rosary around her neck. "Here, have this."
"N-no, it's unne—"
"Take it. My grandmother gave that to me before, she said it will keep forces of evil away from you. I don't really need it, there's plenty of that at home. You guys on the other hand, will need it more than I do." She placed the rosary on Jimin's palm before closing his hand slowly.
"Thank you Eli, really." Jimin smiled sweetly at the girl. "This will help me a lot."
"No, it's my pleasure to help. Although, I should've probably said this sooner but I have a special gift in paranormal things. By touching your hand just now, I know there's a dark evil spirit around you that wants to take your soul. And you have been possessed by this spirit correct?"
The others were in awe at what the girl had said. Jimin was amazed and nodded his head, "Y-yes!" Immediately wearing the rosary over his head and to his neck.
"Use that. It will protect you from it. As long as you wear that, it won't be able to posses you."
"Hold on! Since we're on this topic now, do you know why Ja—"
"SHH!" The Six boys shushed the second eldest in sync. They sighed when he almost slipped her name to the girl.
"–I mean, the spirit, why is the spirit only coming for Jimin and not the rest of us?"
Elixir looked at Jimin intently before roaming her eyes to the other lads. "I'm not exactly sure why but I think Jimin is somehow related to them that's why it's picking Jimin and not you guys."
"M-me? I don't think that's true... I'm Korean and the Zamora's were Filipino."
"Yes, now that you mention it, it does seem weird. Perhaps you knew somebody that was very close or important to their family." Elixir shrugged and leaned back to the armchair.
"My great grandfather..." Jimin mumbled, remembering what his grandpa used to tell stories about his dad.
"What?"
"My great grandfather used to work for the Zamora's! But I don't know... something feels off."
"Yeah like there's something heavy at the pit of my stomach, it's scares me." Hoseok shivered when a brush of cold wind ran down his spine. Bringing his arms up to wrap around his body.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
