《Hex [h.s]》Chapter Fifty-three

"I want you all to read 'Hamlet' and, write an essay about your opinion on the story." Mrs. Alma spoke as she wrote our homework on the board. "Pass the essay this friday, okay? I don't want to hear whinning that I didn't give you much time to finish it, is that clear?"
It's been two weeks that I tried to go up in the attic and find the key, I never tried again after that. I've been so busy with school, and homeworks that I sometimes forgot about it.
Half of the class only replied, since some were half asleep, others were busy chatting with their seatmates. I turn to face Grace, who was just doodling on her notebook, looking bored. "Hey," She looked up from her doodle, turning to me, she smiles. "What's up?"
I shrugged, "I admit, I am a bit bored, but it's only a few minutes more 'till this subject ends. I'll survive." This made her giggle a bit, which caused Mrs. Alma to glare at her, Grace shut her mouth. "I'll expect everyone to pass their essays, those who will fail to submit it on time, will be on detention." Mrs. Alma adds, grabbing her stuff from the teacher's desk.
"Goodbye students," She finally said, the moment she walked out of the door, the class became noisy, some stood up and mess around, happy that Mrs. Alma is gone. I sighed, feeling sad for Mrs. Alma, none of the students liked her due to her strictness.
"B.itch! Hey!" I close my eyes in frustration as I hear Matt call me. Grace snorted, "Don't mind that pig Lucy, he's just trying to annoy you, okay?" I nod, I can feel the tears forming in my eyes, as she rub my arm to comfort me. "Just don't mind him Lucy, okay?"
The next teacher soon took over, the students rushing back to their seats, as the subject began. I turn around to look at Matt, and regret it. He glared at me, and gave me the middle finger before mouthing 'I'll deal with you later'.

"Do you like a piece of my sandwich?" I shook my head again at Lyric's offer. When Matt mouthed those threatening words, I lost my appetite and energy, which was instantly replaced with fear and anxiety. Grace studied my face for the second time, "Are you sure you're okay? You look nervous."
I forced myself to give her a small.smile, "I'm fine Grace, just not hungry today, I guess." I reassured her, hoping she'll just drop it. She gave me a light shrug, eating the sandwich Lyric gave her.
"Lucinda..."
My eyes widen, standing up from my seat, "Harry?" I looked around the noisy and crowded cafeteria, finding for a mop of curly hair, or a tall intimidating man. "Who?" Grace questioned, giving me a confused look, while Lyric smiled.
I must be daydreaming or something. "N-no one," I stammer before taking a seat once again. I looked down, fiddling with my fingers.
Lyric suddenly gasped, "It looks like someone has a crush on somebody," She squeals. "W-what? N-no, I don't have a crush on somebody." I answered.

"Sure you do, why do you seem so startled? Who is the Harry guy, huh?" She wiggled her eyebrows at me, "Is he your, crush? Or your, boyfriend?"
"No, he isn't!" I insisted, "I just thought I saw someone familiar to me back then." Lyric's lips made an 'O' shape, but when I turned to Grace, she looked away. There was something in her eyes that was strange, she never said a word when I mentioned Harry's name.
"Grace," I called, "You okay?" She gives me two thumbs up, but she wasn't looking at me. Did I say something to upset her? "I'll go and get a pizza, turns out I'm hungry after all," I laughed, hoping it would catch her attention, but still Grace didn't face me, I left the table to go and get a pizza.
Just when I was about to line up, I was yanked away, and out of the cafeteria. I groaned in pain when my back hit the hard wall , "Hello bitch," I could already feel tears forming in my eyes when I met poisonous blue ones.
"Matt," I gasped, he chuckled deeply. "You made a bad move ignoring me awhile ago, you s.lut," He hissed, his hold on my arms were tight, almost crushing my bones. "I'll make sure you won't ever do it again." Those words alone made chills run up and down my spine. The hall was empty, and quiet, since all 560 students are in the cafeteria, except me and Matt, unfortunately.
"M-Matt, you don't have to d-do this," I whimpered, trying to remove his grip on me. I noticed that it was only him right now, none of his friends in sight. "'M-Matt, you d-don't have to do this!'" He mimicked, before he burst out of laughter. "I don't think that's what you want b.itch."
I mentally prayed that Lyric or Grace noticed that I disappeared so that they'll come looking for me. Matt leaned in, making me whimper softly as he hushes me, "I knew, since the first time I saw you, you wanted to fuck me," He whispered seductively in my ear.
I groaned in pure disgust, wanting to be far away from him, "No, I never wanted to-" I sobbed when he slapped me on my left cheek, it was stinging badly. "Bullsh.it!" He yelled, grabbing my chin harshly, wanting me to look at him in the eye, "Don't lie to me slut, did your parents ever taught you not to lie? I'm guessing they didn't."
"Get away from me!" I screamed, but he shook his head, grinning like a crazy person. "Never. By the way, have I ever told you that you're so pretty? I'm gonna make you feel so good." I stomach churned, disgusted at him in every way. Doesn't he have a girlfriend, Candice? "Matt, you don't want to do that. You have a girlfriend, Candice. Remember?"
"She nothing compared to you babe," He seduces, feeling him groping my body, I whimpered. He suddenly lean in and hungrily kissed me.
I never felt this dirty, "Kiss me back," He demanded, as he tried to pry my mouth open. I sobbed loudly, "Let me go you bastard!" I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine, causing him to double back in pain, and let me go.

I took off, but was harshly pushed down and pinned down on the floor by Matt, knocking the wind out of me. "You stupid s.lut!" He hissed angrily, turning me over to face him, "I'm won't take it easy on you, come on!"
He made me stand up and dragged me with him, "No!" I yell, thrashing around, trying to loosen his grip on me and ran off. But, Matt is a strong guy, it was impossible. "Shut it!" He hisses, overpowering, covering my mouth, muffling my screams.
We entered the old boy's bathroom that was closed down since the toilets were broken, and it was stinking here. Matt threw me on the floor, locking the door behind him, before turning to look at me. He smirk, "No one is going to hear your cries for help, I suggest you just shut up and let me f.uck you."
I weakly stood up, tears rolling down my cheeks. "No, please!" I begged, and shrieked when Matt pulled me close to him, pushing him away from me just made him more desperate. I cried out when he delivered a punch to my face, I fell to the floor. I coughed, blood dripping from my lips, staining the dirty floor.
I gasped when he turn me over, his eyes dark with lust. I began to sob loudly when he to ripped my shirt off, exposing my bra to him. Pinning my hands above my head, he inhaled sharply, peppering kisses on my neck.
"Help! Please," I cried out, wishing, praying Grace and Lyric went looking for me. Praying someone outside would hear me and help. Matt chuckled soflty, "No one will babe, so shut up and let me pleasure you," He licked a bold stripe on the base of my neck, his other hand grabbing one of my breasts.
This is it. I'll never be able to give my virginity to the person I love, and who loves me. My virginity is going to a maniac and a rapists. I closed me eyes, sobbing softly as I waited for Matt to get it over with.
The person in my mind right now, was Harry. Harry, where are you?
"Lucinda? Are you there?" I opened my eyes, Matt stopped his actions at once, as he was staring at the door. "Lucinda? Grace, the door is locked!" I instantly knew it was Grace and Lyric. "Miss Mackenzie, are you in there?" A man asked, I'm guessing it was the principal, because Matt froze when he heard his voice. I pushed him off and try to find a way to cover myself.
"I'll open it, excuse me." I heard the sound of keys, and soon the door was open wide. There stood Grace, Lyric, the principal and the janitor, their eyes wide and jaws dropped.
The principal glared at Matt, his shock turning to anger. It was clear in his face that he knew what Matt was trying to do to me. "Matt! What is the meaning of this!" He screamed, making me jump slightly. Lyric and Grace hurriedly walked towards me, worry on their faces.
"Oh my, we're so sorry Lucy," Lyric apologized, "We shouldn't have let you go. Here," She pulled her jacket off and gave it to me to cover myself. I zipped the jacket up, when Grace gasped, pointing at my lips, "What happened to your lips Lucy? Did he punched you?"
We heard someone cleared their throat, we turn to see it was the principal, his hand was on Matt's shirt, "Miss Mackenzie, can we speak in my office?" I nodded, standing up, almost losing my balance when Lyric assisted me, "I'll e-explain later, o-okay?"
Both nod, and I followed the principal and Matt to the office. A few students were already outside the cafeteria, and they were looking at us with confused faces. Once we arrived in the office, Miss Roberts sighed when she caught sight of us. "Another fight?" She asked.
"Rape," The principal simply answered, Miss Roberts gasped before standing up, "I'll get some ice for Miss Mackenzie." The principal sat down at the back of his desk, eyeing the two of us.
"Matt, I am so disgusted. I never knew that there were students like you," He began, "After the fight, now this?" Curiousity sparked within me, what fight was he refering about? "Matt, Lucinda here is new, and here you are, trying to rape her? What kind of student are you?"
"I'm sorry Sir, it won't happen again." Matt replied in a monotone. "It won't, because you're expelled." The principal declared, Matt's jaw dropped in shock at his decision. "What? You can't do that Sir!"
"I just did," The principal said, and Miss Roberts walked in with a bag of ice. "Miss Roberts, please escort Matt to his room and to the exit. He's expelled," The principal pointed to the door, Miss Roberts nodded.
"Yes Sir," She answered, placing her hand on Matt's shoulder. "Let's go Matt," She spoke softly, Matt removed her hand before he narrowed his eyes at me, "This isn't over yet, b.itch." He warned, and walked out with Miss Roberts.
"Lucinda," I face the principal who had pity in his eyes. The last thing I want was pity, "Yes, Sir?"
"I want to talk to your parents, first thing tomorrow, okay?"
"Yes Sir."
"Good, I'll assure you that it won't ever happen again. The safety of the students is our priority." I nod, "You may go back to your room now Miss Mackenzie."
I went out of the office to be greeted by Grace and Lyric, "Well?" Grace questioned, I still remember her behavior awhile ago, but I'll leave it for now. "I'll tell you everything at lunch," I answered, and walked back to our classes.
