《Hex [h.s]》Chapter Twenty-six

Raindrops. Raindrops falling down from the sky and onto the ground. I looked up to met a blurry grey sky.
One raindrop fell on my forehead and I sigh. I looked down to met Harry's blurry dark figure.
"What?" I ask, clearly he's looking at me, but I choose not to be faze by it.
"You hungry?" He asked, no scarcasm, no threat. Nothing. Just asking.
"What?" I asked, even though I heard him, but I wanna hear it again.
"I said, are you hungry?" He asked, louder this time. I sigh, it remained silent for a few seconds before I nodded.
"Yeah. I am." I mumbled, and wiped my nose which was becoming more runny. I am expecting a runny nose later, since here I am exposed to the rain and the cold wind.
"Good. I spotted an abandon house near here. Maybe you can eat there." I nodded and started to stand up.
"Okay."
I heard him inhale sharply, before I saw his figure turn.
"Follow me."
He walks slowly, me following him. I just followed his blurry figure, careful not to trip on any rocks or something.
Except the rain pouring down on us, or the howling wind, everything around both of us was silent.
The sky was growing darker every minute passing, and my legs were growing weaker every second.
Fuck. I don't think he was telling the truth about that 'abandon house' near here. In fact, it's fucking far.
"Harry."
My legs were sore, and even I can't see it, I know my feet are red.
"Harry."
He didn't pay attention, or he is just too deaf to hear me. I swallowed, okay, fine. I'll walk maybe a few more.
This time, the sky was already in it's dark blue shade. Maybe around 6 or 7 p.m.

My breathing was growing heavier and heavier.
"Harry." I called again, praying her can fucking hear me. "Harry, I'm tired!" I whined.
And, before I knew it, I gave up from exhaustion and my world grew dark.
I heard something drop behind me. I turn to see her body on the ground.
"Lucinda." I called, and I rush to her side. I touched her arm, and fuck, she was cold.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
"Lucinda, get up. We're almost there." I hissed, but she didn't.
I sigh frusratingly and carry her bridal style. She was shivering from the cold, and I continued walking.
She wasn't heavy, but still, there presence of her weight was still there.
Soon, I spotted the house. It was a small one, made of wood and bricks. I can tell it was there not too long ago.
I run to the house and kick the door open. I hissed when my head collide on the small doorway.
Fuck this small door and entrance.
I set her body down on the single bed and grab a firewood and toss it on the fireplace.
I just glare at it, and fire appeared. The green flames dancing on the wood before it turn to it's normal color.
I spotted a small stove made of bricks and more wood. I did the same, and fire appeared.
I brought out a few dead crows, removing it's feathers before placing it on the pot. I poured water on it and waited for it to boil.
Thunder clapsed, but I wasn't afraid of it. My clothes dried in an instant and I heard sneezing, and coughing.
I turn to see Lucinda. She was huddled and sneezing. Fuck.
I looked around spotting a huge wooden closet. I opened it to see a few ugly, but huge blankets, an oversize coat, and a can of beans.

I grab the huge blankets and walk towards Lucinda.
"Lucinda." I murmured, shaking her arm to wake her. And she did.
"W-what?" She asked, her face pale, and her used-to-be-blue eyes, that are now in a grayish color.
She have this blurred vision because of he own doing. It's her doing, and the only cure to this is for her to get her eyes checked and drink medicine or something.
I should've known I wasn't the only ghost in this town. And it's not only fucking me who is feared here.
She made a wrong move to scare Lucinda one day on the television, who is mine to finish, and mine to kill. I have to finish her once the coast is clear.
Lucinda's mom is on the search for her, but I won't give her. Just yet. I should've also known, that she is afraid of Lucinda.
Mmm. Maybe I can use this girl to drive her away.
But, I can't have Lucinda, who has a blurry vision. No, this will just ruin everything.
"Lucinda, here." I hand her the blankets and she warps it around herself.
I guess I have to get this girl warmed up before she gets a cold or something.
I walked to the closet again and grab the coat, running to her again.
"Lucinda, remove you outfit, it's soaked."
It surprised me that she didn't question me, instead, she followed every word.
First, she removed her hoddie, then her tee shirt. I gulped and watch her take her jeans off.
Fuck.
She takes her shoes and socks off, leaving her in her underwear and bra.
Fuck, she's so hot- no. No. She's a human. A living thing.
I wrap the coat around her, it hid every skin that was exposed. I buttoned it and I looked up.
Her face was near mine, her breath fanning my face. Her eyes closed.
I moved away before setting her down once again on the bed. I pulled the covers over her body.
I heard the water boiling and I got the crow out. I served it in two small bowls.
"Lucinda, you better eat." I murmur, letting her seat up. She was leaning on the pillow.
"Huh?"
"Eat." I ordered her. She took the bowl and sipped the soup. I grab a wooden fork, stab the crow and held it towards her.
"Eat."
She opened her mouth and bit the crow. She munched quietly. I can tel on the looks if her face that she enjoyed it.
Oh, you don't even know what it is.
"Delicious?"
She nodded, eating more. I smirked, "It's crow soup."
Her closed eyes opened, and it was wide. Before I knew it, she spit it back onto the bowl.
"Yuck!" She made a face before placing the bowl on the night stand. I laughed at her expression.
"I thought you were enjoying it? Why all the sudden you spit it out?" I asked.
She glared at me before sneezing. "Fuck you."
And this made me laugh harder.

Far Strider
A college student finds himself transported into a strange land with burgeoning magical powers, and is taken in by Ned Stark. Will he sink or swim in this medieval society, and will he ever get home? ====================== OC-insert without knowledge of Game of Thrones, new planeswalker. Slow power ramp. Second crossover: Star Wars (around chapter 39). ======================= As a note, I started this as a speed writing challenge to myself. The challenge was successful, and I managed 100,000+ words (as well as some character sheets in excel and such) over 10.5 days. Then I had to stop and let my hands recover from their burgeoning carpal tunnel syndrome. The story currently stands at around 150,000 words (or ~550 RRL pages) over 54 chapters; expect a chapter a day until I've caught up with the backlog. The focus of this story was not quality writing, and that hasn't changed. I mostly use it as my semi-guilty "I need to write something, but am not focused enough to write something good" story. Expect self-indulgent writing in general, and a bit of OP (or, well, more than just a bit if we're being honest), especially later in the story as the protagonist matures into a more full-blown Planeswalker. But if you're looking for something with a power-ramping protagonist romping around the place, something you'd be a bit embarrassed to admit liking (I know I am) but like anyways (and come on, this is RRL, so that probably describes just about everyone here who actually has shame), then this may be a nice bit of mental junk food for you.

8 133The Vampire's Never-ending Curiosity
“Being the strongest is often pretty convenient and cool. Sure. But what good does this power do for me if the disadvantages it brings prevents me from satisfying my curiosity!?” This is a slow paced story of the daily (or nightly?) life of a vampire, whose starting hand in life is “no home, no name, random knowledge, overpowered strength and seemingly endless curiosity”, in a world that is often not friendly and safe even to a member of a rare and overpowered race.
8 200World Renewal Project
Joshua Campbell -- just your regular nobody. A geek who spends more time playing games on his phone, than he does interacting with the rest of the world. Definitely not a guy who might end up having to save the world from God's "World Renewal Project". Definitely not someone who might end up becoming a hero, forming an endless harem, and become recognized as the most powerful, most perfect, most exceptional hero of humanity! Definitely not!! Or, is there more to the story of his life, which not even he is aware of at the moment??
