《You Don't Scare Me ( Laughing Jack X Reader )》Chapter 22

As you ran down the hallway you could hear the clowns mocking laugh echo down the corridor. You didn't want to bump into any of the other creeps that in habit the mansion, it was bad enough that the clown had to see your bare body. The hallway was darker than usual and cold. You could remember the door to the clowns room. You started to walk toward where the door was, at least where you thought the door was. The door was gone. The bathroom was only down the hall you were certain that the door was right there. As confusion ran through your mind, you gripped the towel tighter around your naked body. As the now cold water dripped down your body you shuttered looking around frantically for a place to go. Should you stay and wait for Jack? No it was unlikely he would appear anytime soon, he probably was the one who put you into this situation. It was likely he was making you hallucinate or something, at this point nothing surprised you. Should you wonder? No that was also fools, walking around a mansion with a bunch of serial killers naked wrapped in a towel was not the smartest idea. What if you were to bump into to someone or something that wasn't the clown? Nothing good would come of an encounter like that.
You were taken from your thoughts, when the creaking of a door opening down the hallway reached your ears. You stood still not wanting to know the source of the noise. You had to force yourself to turn and look in the direction of the sound, yet your gaze was met by nothing, just darkness. You sighed in relief and turn back to the blank wall. You stared at the once black wall, which was now replaced with a wooden door. The door was different from what you remembered, less welcoming not that the first one was. This one was beaten up with a rusted handle and reeked of cedar. The last thing you wanted to do was go through this door but, you were out of options. You reached out and grabbed the knob slowly, and gave the door a good push. A loud creek filled the empty corridor. The room was dark. You couldn't see two feet in front of you. The room was cold and Uninviting yet you felt the need to move forward. You sighed and walked into the room. The door shut behind you with a soft click. As you walked through the pitch black room the sound of your foot steps echoed. As you stopped so did the echo. At least that's what you thought it was. As you walked you noticed the steps were not matched to yours. They were off. You were not alone. You didn't know for sure so you took two steps and stopped and the other steps continued. You were being followed. You gripped your towel tighter and took off with a hard sprint. Yes the room was pitch black and you had no idea where you were going but you didn't want whatever was chasing you to catch you. You ran while your lungs continued to burn from lack of oxygen. Yet you didn't stop, that is you didn't want to stop but lately karma was not of your side. Something came into contact with your foot and you fell to the ground with a hard thud. The footsteps stopped and your ears were filled with silence. A sudden fragrance filled the air it smelled very fresh. As to what it was, you couldn't put your finger on it. You looked into the darkness waiting for something to emerge from it, but nothing came. You couldn't see what you tripped over either. You felt around to find the source of your stumbling. You started to pat the floor and suddenly your hand landed in a thick liquid and the smell of iron filled your nostrils. You knew immediately what it was. You felt around more and froze. Your hand landed on what felt like another hand. It was soft and warm. They had just been killed. The hand was fragile and small. You could tell they were a female. You had tripped over someone's dead body. Tears ran down your face as you backed up. You were glad it was pitch black that image would be branded into your brain for the rest of your life. You sat in shock as the tears rolled down your face. You never thought you would be thankful for the darkness. You felt that sometimes it's best not to see everything. You knew that would be something you would never but able to unsee. You were taken out of your thoughts when you felt something slimy on the back of your neck. You froze and took a sharp intake of breath to scream but something was blocking the noise from escaping your mouth. It was a cold and boney object that covered your mouth. You could feel your hot breath bouncing off of it and back to your lips. Tears began to stream done your face. It was a hand or talons would be a better term for it. The palm was rested on your right cheek and the fingers stretched all the way to your left ear, claws digging into the side of your head. Yet again you tried to scream but a voice stopped you. "As much as I would like to hear you scream, I would much prefer you to beg me to keep you alive." The being let out a dark laugh. "It was stupid of the clown to leave you so bare like this, especially in this house hold. You see, the animals in this house don't appreciate the body of a human female. They would just go to town on you, but I Miss (Y/N), I take my time."

You felt another hand land on your shoulder and slowly trace down to your hips. The only thing you could her was your own panicked breaths leaving your body while you still stared into the pitch black darkness. Once again you were thankful you couldn't see anything. The sight probably would haunt you for the rest of your life, that is if you were ever to make it out of this situation alive. " I am what you call a special in my line of work, I make things slow and Brutal".
The hand suddenly darted to your upper thigh and it made you jump. "Now let's get started".
You didn't like where this was going. You leaned your head forward and threw it back as hard as you could. With a loud wack, the being let go of you and a loud grunt of pain echoed throughout the dark space. It probably hurt you lot more than it hurt him considering your head was pounding and your ears were ringing. That definitely gave you a concussion. You didn't care whatever it took to get you free. You took off running. Where? You didn't know but you were sprinting into the dark or what you prayed was the way out. The voices laugh echoed, you couldn't tell if it was in your head or if it was in reality. You didn't dare look back not that you would see anything but it still scared you. What if you did see something? You didn't want to risk it. You were interrupted from your thoughts when you slammed into something hard. It knocked the wind out of you, you quickly stood up and reached your hands out, trying to touch whatever you ran into.
It felt smooth and hard, you ran your fingers down the object and felt some sort of grain pattern, you knew it was a door. You quickly felt around looking for a handle, and alas you felt it. You quickly began to turn it but the rusted thing wouldn't budge. You started twisting and pulling with all your might, you didn't know how far behind you that monster was. It was locked. You weren't willing to give up just yet. You backed up and slammed into into it with all your might. A cracking noice echoed. A vicious laugh echoed, it was loud, and it was close. You did it again. You could see light shining through the frame. Again you slammed your body into the door. One more time and it would open for sure. You backed up one more time and charged at the door. But for you could hit it again it flew open and you fell into the light.
As you landed on the floor you panicked and looked around frantically, look for safety. "HELLO!!!!!!" You looked up from the floor to meet those same soulless grey eyes. It was the clown. He grabbed you from off the and pulled you up. "Where were you? All you had to do was walk from the bathroom back to the bedroom. Idiot".

Had he not seen where you just came from? What had just unfolded???? "I just came from that door".
You pointed behind you and he just gave you a puzzled look. You turned and looked behind you and it was gone. "I just came from a door that was right there and something was attacked me and I tripped over a body, I'm covered in blood for Christ's sake".
"No you're not you just showered, my mind games must be working gum drop."
You looked down and there was no blood, the door was gone. You were in the same dimly lit corridor, with the same murderous clown. "I know what I saw Jack, something attacked me, and it wanted to hurt me." He just started to laugh. "Oh honey! Everyone here wants to hurt you hahaha". Of course you couldn't say you expected a better response than that. That was probably the best you were gonna get. At least he was honest. The things in this house live off of people. You looked at the clown whom was very concentrated on something. Confused, you looked down and noticed you were still bare and you covered yourself with your arms. The clown giggled. "I've seen everything no point in hiding."
The clown then started to walk down the hall and you followed not wanted to get caught in any other situations like the one that just accrued. You followed the clown to his room, you sighed in relief as you walk into the dimly light layer. It wasn't the best area to be in but for now it provided you with somewhat of a sense of security. Right now that was all you needed. Once in the door was shut, you sat on the bed, still trying to cover whatever part of your body you can. The clown walked over to the dresser and pulled out three articles of clothing and literally chucked them at you. The first was a clean pair of underwear, the second was a pair of leggings and the third was a white tank top. You examined the underwear just to make sure they weren't dirty, you'd rather be commando than wear another women's underwear. God only knows who's underwear they were before you came along. They seemed to be clean so you started to get dressed. You could feel the clowns eyes staring at your backside. It didn't bother you as much this time. There was no point in wasting the energy besides, he likes upsetting you. So why give him the satisfaction?

> The GOD made a simple offer. And the man rejoiced, and gladly accepted. However...something goes wrong, and instead of being reborn, the man wakes up inside a strange room in a ruined temple. > -NOTICE- This series is also available on my personal blog, along with two other series I am currently working on (blog exclusives). -NOTICE- CHANGE OF SCHEDULE- Due to some IRL stuff, I am forced to change the schedule for Re:Interference. Because of that, I will make two major changes to the schedule. First, I will be able to release one single chapter each week. Next, the release of it will be random. That means, one week I could release it on friday, the next one on sunday etc... whenever a chapter is ready (writing, editing, proofreading of 9000+ words) it will be released. If you read this, please do keep in mind that: English is not my native language (so, by all means, if you spot bad grammar/ wrong terms etc take your time to leave a comment, it will help me a lot) As this is my first attempt at writing a web novel (well...technically it's my second attempt...but oh well) please leave some feedback about the story. Any kind of feedback will be appreciated (unless it is just blatant, non-funny insult) Thank You for your Time!
