《You Don't Scare Me ( Laughing Jack X Reader )》Chapter 16

He calmly walked over to your quivering form. He knelt down to your level and grabbed a fist full of your hair causing a pain filled whimper to emerge from your mouth. He tilted your head up so he could look you dead in the eye as he spoke with a deep and dark whisper sending shivers down your spine. "As much as I would love to kill you, I want to watch you suffer as Jack drags you through Hell. He is going to make you suffer to the point where you're begging for death, and I'm going to sit back and watch, while I enjoy every minute of it."
You looked him dead in the face as you spoke. "We'll see."
He then carelessly released his tight grip on your hair, causing you head to drop and hit the floor. You groaned in pain as he walked away like nothing even happened. As the tall being walked further and further away from you, your hearing turned to static and your vision faded into darkness.
TIME SKIPPED~~~~~~~~
Jack stared intently at your sleeping form. He was standing at the foot of the bed. You were safely tucked under the black and white bed spread that laid of the surface of the clowns mattress. You looked so tired, like a child that just got finished with a long day at the park. But you were far from a child. He knew you were very intelligent for your age. So he couldn't understand how you could be so stupid? Challenging the master the way you had. You were very lucky indeed. He was surprised that you hadn't been killed. No one had ever talked back to the master, and even if they did they certainly wouldn't live to tell the tale. It truly was a miracle that you were still breathing. He wouldn't keep you alive for shits and giggles. There had to be a purpose. The second he found out that you were in the presence of the master of the manor, he had thought you were a goner for sure. Yet, there you were. Lying on the clowns bed. Covered head to toe in cotton bandages. It took some convincing to get Eyeless Jack to patch you up, and a lot more to make sure that all of your organs remained untouched. Alas, he managed to keep you in one piece, literally.

He tensed as you started to stir. Your (e/c) eyes slowly opened and met his white ones. For a moment the two of you just stared at each other. Neither of you knew what to say. After what felt like forever, you broke the silence. "Jack."
That was all you were able to muster up, and it came out just barely above a whisper. You stared at him waiting for an answer. You were feeling so many different emotions by this point. Anger, sadness, fear, and little happiness but most of all confusion. How were you still alive? Why were you still alive? You were broken from your thoughts when Jack spoke in a dangerously calm and slow voice, with a hint of laughter.

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.

Creature Feature: InGen Hybrids
The fossil record is obviously incomplete, which means InGen's experiments with the hybridisation of various prehistoric creatures are probably not over. With that in mind, this guide is likely incomplete. But if you're writing Jurassic Park or Jurassic World fanfiction, or stories told within that pretty awesome universe, then any of the creatures found in these fair pages should be considered entirely canon!
