You walk out of the room, relieved. The judge had let Jimmy go and had given your father 50 hours of community service. It's not really how much you were hoping for, but you're happy you can still live with Jimmy. You see him walking towards you from the other side of the hallway. You run at him and jump in his arms. ''I'm so happy you didn't get into trouble because of me.''

''I'm happy that I can spend time with you, instead of spending time in prison.'' He hugs you tightly. He lets you go and puts his hand on your cheek. ''Are you okay? You look tired.''

You nod. ''I'm fine, I just want to lay down as soon as possible.''

''Allright, just let me talk to my friends for a bit and we'll go home.'' He starts walking towards his friends.

You feel a tap on your shoulder. You turn around and see y/b, Mitch. ''You're not mad, are you?''

Your brother shakes his head and hugs you. ''I'm not mad, I'm proud. I would've never dared to step up to dad like that. You really were amazing in there.'' He lets you go and puts his hand on your shoulder. ''Just don't scare me like that ever again. Please.''

You nod. ''I promise.''

Time skip; You just entered the house together with Jimmy and a couple of his friends. They all grab some 'water'. Unlike the rest, you sit down on the couch. The others join you, Jimmy sitting down next to you on your right. Someone else sits down on your left side, and you get pushed against Jimmy. You feel your face becoming slightly red, but you try to cover it by pulling your hoodie over your head. You feel Jimmy lifting his arm and putting it on the back of the couch behind you. Your eyes widen but you eventually get comfortable and just don't care about it anymore.

All evening you listen to everyone's interesting and funny stories. Some are about travelling, some are about crazy r/Idontworkherelady -like experiences. Either way, this night was a lot of fun. So much fun that people start shipping you and Jimmy. You pulled your hoodie all the way over your face out of embarrasment.

As the last people get up to leave you fall asleep.

JIMMY'S P.O.V.

I wrap my arm around her as she falls asleep on me. Is this seriously happening? Does she feel the same for me as I feel for her? I feel her move around a little to get comfortable and smile. I grab a fleece blanket and put it over the both of us. I then lean my head back and close my eyes.

WRITER'S P.O.V.

You wake up and the first thing you realise is you're on top of Jimmy. Oh no, oh no, oh no, oh no. this can't be happening. You try to push yourself up but see that you'll wake him up if you do. To (hopefully) not disturb him you very slowly move sideways until you're off him. You look at him as he sleeps. Fuck, he's so adorable. You grab the blanket, which is on the ground and put it on him. Hmm, maybe I could do something nice for him this time. You make your way to the kitchen and look in the fridge. Really, Jimmy? You wanted to buy me expensive clothing but you barely have food in your kitchen? You facepalm and look outside. A small black and white figure walks over the grass towards the window. You open the sliding door and to your surprise, a kitten walks inside. You immediatly pick it up. ''Oh my, aren't you adorable?'' You check the neck of the kitten but don't see a collar. You look over and jimmy and sigh. You make your way over to him and wake him up, still holding the kitten. ''I found a kitten and I want to name it something funny.''

He looks up at you with his amazing blue eyes and then looks over at the kitten. He sits up straight and rubs his eyes. ''What? Where did you find it?''

''It came walking up to the door and I let it in. We should get it to the vet to check if it has an owner. If it doesn't I want to give it a stupid, yet funny name.''

He chuckles and pets the kitten. ''Alright, let me just get changed and we'll go.''

You smile as he walks away. Fuck, I still need to ask when he's going to get food. After a few seconds of hesitating you open the door to his room. You notice he's shirtless and look away. ''Sorry, didn't mean to walk in on you.'' You cover your eyes and your now red face with your hand.

''It's okay. It's just a mans upper body, so I don't care.'' He puts on a clean sweater. ''Okay, I'm dressed. What were you saying?'' He turns to you.

You remove your hand from your still light pink face. ''I just wanted to know when you will be getting some fresh food. I don't want to seem needy, but you barely have anything in your fridge. I wanted to make you breakfast, but I was unable to because of it.''

He walks out of his room and you follow him, still holding the kitten. ''We can go after we go to the vet, if you're okay with that.

You nod. You walk outside with him and get in his car. You fasten your seatbelt and put the kitten on your lap.

Time skip; You just arrived at the vet.

----------

You walk into the building with the kitten in your hands and make your way to the receptionist.

''Hello, how may I help you?''

''This kitten came up to the door, and I think it's a stray.'' You answer politely.

''We have a special room for events like this. Please follow me.'' The receptionist gets up and leads you to a different room. ''This is doctor Martin, he'll help you today.'' She smiles and walks out of the room.

The vet shakes your and Jimmy's hand and he takes the kitten from you. ''So what's the problem with this little one?''

You explain the situation and sit down on a chair, as this might take a while.

Eventually the doctor tells you that the kitten doesn't have an owner, you are able to adopt her right away. If you wouldn't want that, they could bring her to the shelter for you. Ofcourse you looked at Jimmy with a pair of puppy eyes.

He facepalms. ''We'll take her.''

You begin to beam and just hug him really tight.
