Chandler sighed and opened the door, putting his keys on the table by the door. The air was filled with the fresh warm scent of roasted chicken and vegetables and the soft music playing from the radio, giggles coming from the kitchen. He smiled softly and took off his coat, hanging it up and started to walk to the kitchen. He entered the kitchen and saw Karl stirring something in the pot and his daughter sitting in her high chair, munching on some vegetables. She giggled and shrieked happily, looking around the room and spotting Chandler. She pointed to him and smiled.

"Daddy!" She yelled, wiggling around in her high chair. Karl turned around to face Chandler and he smiled. Chandler walked over to him and swooped him into a hug, kissing him fully on his lips. Karl giggled and kissed him back, wrapping his arm around his shoulders. They broke apart the kiss and smiled at each other before breaking apart and Chandler went over to his daughter and kissed her on the head, brushing back her hair. She smiled at him and held up a vegetable, trying to feed him. He leaned down and she shoved the food into his mouth, Chandler let her and smiled. He ate the food and kissed her head again.

"Thank you, princess." He told her, Karl coming towards with her with a pot and putting more food on her tray. She giggled and started to eat it.

"What do you say?" Karl asked, putting the pot back on the counter but looking back at her. She looked down at her food and swallowed, looking back at her father.

"Thank you." She told him and Karl nodded. Chandler smiled at her and grabbed a chair to sit down next to her. She tried to grab her sippy cup but it was out of her reach. Chandler noticed and pushed it towards her. She grabbed it and sipped it, dropping it on the floor. She looked down at the floor then at Chandler, who picked it up and placed it down onto her tray in her reach. She kept munching her food, kicking her legs and bouncing in her chair, so happy that it was hard to not be happy. Chandler rubbed his eyes and yawned, getting up to go grab a water bottle from the fridge.

"Blankie!" She yelled, wiggling around in her chair. Chandler turned towards her and closed the fridge door, opening the bottle and taking a sip from it.

"Where is your blankie?" He asked, looking around the kitchen to try and spot the blanket. He noticed Karl was smiling as he stood at the stove, turning it off. He looked at his daughter again and walked towards her. She made grabby hands towards him, which Chandler understood and picked her up, placing her on the floor. She ran out the kitchen in order to find her blankie. Karl turned to him and smiled, taking the chicken out the oven and placing it on the stove to let it cool.

"I think you should follow her so she doesn't get hurt." Karl told him, a hint of a smile on his lips. Chandler raised an eyebrow, suspicious of him but he walked out the kitchen to follow her. He went to her room and walked in, seeing her on her bed with her blankie. He walked over to her and looked down at the bed.

"Where'd you find it?" He asked, smiling at his daughter's happy face. She pointed to the office across the hall and he turned, cocking his eyebrow. She wasn't allowed in the office unless someone was in that room with her.

"Was dada with you?" He asked, looking back at her. She shook her head and hugged her blankie close to her chest. He looked back at the office and walked towards it, looking around the room to make sure she didn't mess anything up. A desktop was sitting on a desk that was pushed up against a wall, boxes lined up the opposite wall since they didn't have much storage. He looked at the desk and spotted something on it, walking towards it. He picked up the objects that were positives pregnancy test. He widened his eyes and gasped, walking out the room and going back into the kitchen. He spotted Karl putting plates full of food on the table, placing some chicken on the tray of the high chair. He walked towards him and wrapped his arms around his waist, kissing his neck.

"You're pregnant?" He asked as Karl turned towards him who nodded smiling. Chandler kissed him, smiling into the kiss. He heard little footsteps coming towards the kitchen and he broke the kiss, turning around to look at his daughter who stood in the kitchen with her blankie in her hands. Chandler went to her and picked her up, placing her on his hip and kissing her head. She looked at him and giggled, laying her head on his shoulder. He rubbed her back and kissed her head, walking towards her high chair and placing her down into it so she can finish eating. He tried to grab her blankie but she had a tight grip on it, turning around when he tried to grab it.

"I need the blankie, baby. I don't want it to get dirty." He tried to persuade but she still wouldn't let him have it. He sighed and gave up, sitting down in his chair to start eating. Karl sat next to him and they started to eat, holding hands while they ate.

When they finished, Chandler took the empty plates and placed them in the sink. Karl got her out of her high chair and placed her on his hip.

"Let's go take a bath." He told her and she nodded, patting his shoulder. Chandler leaned towards Karl and kissed his lips before Karl walked away to the bathroom. Chandler cleaned up the kitchen and smiled, thinking about the new baby. He remembered how scared he was when Karl was pregnant with their daughter that he would practically have a heart attack when he lifted a finger. When she was born, he swore to keep her safe and loved. He knew he would have to be overprotective of Karl again but he knew it was worth it.

"Daddy?" Chandler's eyes fluttered his eyes opened and saw his daughter standing by his side of the bed. He sat up and noticed that was crying or was at least. He picked her up and placed her on his lap, stroking the back of head.

"What's wrong?" He leaned down and kissed her head, blinking as the early morning haze covered his eyes. She looked up at him then buried herself into his arms and chest.

"I had a bad dream." She whined, grabbing onto his arm and squeezing it. His bottom lip jutted out at how cute she was.

"It's okay, let's go chase the bad dream out your room." He stood up with her own his hip and walked to her room, careful not to wake his sleeping husband as he passed. They made it to her room and he set her down on the bed then walked to the door, opening it up and waving his hand sideways, as if he was telling it to go.

"Go away bad dream." He spoke, cringing at himself but it was for his daughter, so he didn't care. He then shut the door and wiped his forehead dramatically. (My mom used to do this was I was younger and strangely, it worked.)

"Phew, the bad dream's gone so it won't bother you anymore. Let's tuck you back in bed." He spoke softly and quietly, walking over to her bed and tucking the blanket around her. He stood up straight and sighed quietly when she threw the blanket off. He grabbed the blanket again and tried to tuck her in again.

"No, daddy. I want to be a burrito." He smiled softly, shaking his head at what Karl spoiled her with. He picked her up and placed her by the pillows, placing the blanket flat onto the bed. He picked her up, laying her in the middle and grabbing the corners.

"Do you want any stuffed animals?" She nodded and let go of the corners. "Which ones?"

"Mr. Bubbles!" He smiled and went to her little bin of stuffed animals, searching for the duck stuffed animal. He found it and came back towards her, handing her the soft yellow duck. She grabbed it and hugged it close to her, smiling and giggling quietly as it was late and he had playfully scolded at her to not wake up her father.

"Anyone else?" She scrunched up her lips as she thought over it, something that made her look so serious but her cute at the same time.

"Blankie." He nodded and grabbed the security blanket that had a simple white back and was decorated with little bunnies and teddies with colorful balloons in their hands. (I'm totally not just describing my favorite blanket growing up.) He laid it on her chest and sighed quietly, clearly exhausted but not caring.

"Anything else?" She shook her head and he grabbed the corners of the blanket, wrapping her up tightly in it like she was a baby. He tucked the last corner and kissed her head, brushing the hair out her face. She smiled and reached up to kiss his cheek.

"I love you, pumpkin. Now, get some rest." He kissed her head again and stood straight again, walking towards the door. When he turned around, she was already fast asleep. He opened the door quietly and got out, shutting it quietly and tiptoeing to their shared bedroom. He walked in and cradled back into bed, spooning his husband and laying his head onto the pillow. He felt him turn and was met with his lovable face. He smiled gently and kissed his parted lips, taking his lips away when he didn't connected them.

"What was wrong with her?" He yawned and moved closer, wrapping his arms around him.

"Bad dream." Karl nodded and scooted down, his head rested underneath his chin, the bump pushing against his thighs.

"Sooner or later, you'll not be able to do this anymore." He kissed his head and placed his chin back on top his head. Karl hummed and sighed, not wanting that to happen but it will.

He missed it when he wasn't able to lay on Chandler's chest after the five month mark and to not hear his heart beat while he fell asleep. It would always calm him down and with all the stress to carrying a child, he needed it. Chandler ran his hand through the back of hair, twisting the locks in between his fingers. His hands traveled down to his lower back and he kneaded the skin, tracing shapes with the tip of pointer finger and making the boy shiver.

"Love you." Chandler whispered and received a hum. He inhaled and closed his eyes, hearing his lover's breathing even out and grow quiet.

___________

Karl stood in the bedroom packing up a bag as Chandler watched from the bed. He went back and forth from the closet, placing shirts and jeans into the bag. He grabbed the bag and placed it onto his shoulders, looking at Chandler. He smiled softly and went over to him to kiss him. Chandler kissed back and tried to deepen it but Karl pulled away, patting his cheeks gently.

"When are you coming back?" Karl teased a hand into his hair and felt hands slither under his shirt, holding his hips firmly. He hummed and lifted his head up.

"I told you, in a week." Chandler sighed quietly and moved his hands to his husband's stomach, which has a tiny bump on it.

"Take care of him, you hear?" Karl rolled his eyes but a smile played on his lips. He tapped his bump and kissed it through his shirt, smiling.

"I have to go say goodbye to Maya." Chandler looked up at him and nodded, taking his hands off his body and felt the hand in his hair slither away. He walked away and Chandler followed him, looking around for Maya.

"Maya?" He peeked his head into her room and say her playing with dolls in the makeshift doll house. She turned around and waved to her father, dropping her dolls and running towards her. He squatted on the floor and opened his arms for her to run into, picking her up when she crashed into his chest.

"I love you." He kissed her head and smiled down at her, cradling her head to his chest. She giggled, clinging onto his shirt. "Dada has to go now."

This dropped her mood and she tightened her grip on his shirt, whining.

"No go Dada." She looked up at him and gave him her biggest puppy eyes ever, making him smile and kiss her forehead.

"I'll be back, don't worry. Daddy will be here with you until I come back." He handed her to Chandler and waved to her, waking away. Chandler followed him, moving her onto his other hip. He was at the door and putting on his shoes when Chandler met up with him.

"Bye Maya. Bye Chandler." He got up and kissed their checks then Chandler's lips. Chandler smiled and Maya waved, making grabby hands towards him. He picked her up and hugged her tightly. He made eye contact with Chandler and smiled.

"Take care of little man." Karl nodded and handed Maya back to him, waving as he opened the door. He closed the door behind him as he walked away to his car. Chandler turned to Maya and smiled brightly at her.

"Want to surprise Dada?" She turned towards him and nodded, patting his shoulder. He nodded and walked to the room where the office used to be, setting her down on the floor. Paintings and an unbuilt changing table and crib still in the box leaned against the wall. A box next to that was filled with decorations and what not for the room to built into a nursery. The walls were already painted a pale blue, all it needed was to be decorated.

He walked over to the boxes and sat down on the floor, grabbing the crib. He got a box cutter out the of the tools he needed to build everything. He opened the box and got all the pieces out, letting them scatter across the floor. He blew a small raspberry as he looked at the pile of pieces.

"Let's get to work." He mumbled to himself as he grabbed the manual and opening it.

_________

"Maya, hand me that onesie." She ran to where the last onesie was and grabbed it, running back to him and handing it to him. He nodded at her and folded it, placing it in drawer. Closing the drawer, he turned around and examined the room.

"How do you think it looks, pumpkin? Perfect for little bro?" She nodded and looked around the room too. He picked her up and let her have the high view of the room. He took the baseball cap off his head and placed it on her head, letting it cover her face.

"Hey!" She squealed, laughing loudly and taking the cap off her head. She looked at him and giggled, making him smile and laugh with her. She reached up and placed the cap back on his head, or tried to at least.

"Hey now." He grabbed the cap and placed it on his head, spinning it to where it was facing backwards. She giggled and looked around the room again. She pointed to the floor and he put her down, letting her walk. She ran to the rocking chair and climbed into it, giggling and catching her father's gaze. He rolled his eyes and smiled, walking over to her.

"Silly." He patted her head and hummed, twirling her soft wavy hair between his fingers.

__________

The front door opened as Chandler was making lunch for both him and Maya. He heard the little footsteps run towards the person and a excited squeal.

"Hey princess!" He heard his lover's voice say and footsteps walk forward, letting him see him. Karl looked over at him and smiled widely, waking over to the kitchen with their daughter on his chest and her legs straddling the bump.

"Hey Bambi." He walked over to him and peeked his lips, rubbing Maya's back. Chandler pulled him in and kissed him like his life depended on it. He tried to deepen it but Karl pulled back.

"We have a baby here. Oh yeah and that reminds me, guess who decided to pop out while I was gone." He lifted up his hoodie as best he could and let Chandler looked at his round dome of a bump. Chandler gasped and placed his hand onto his stomach, gliding his hand across the surface.

"He made sure I remembered him." Chandler looked up at him and smiled, leaning forward to kiss him again. Karl giggled and let him kiss him, only pulling away when he tried to deepen it.

"I have a surprise for YOU." Chandler told him when he pulled away. Karl cocked an eyebrow and laughed quietly, taking his hand into his and letting him walk him over to the nursery.

"Close your eyes." Karl closed them before they entered the room. Chandler brought him into the middle of the room and let go of his hand, smiling softly.

"Now open your eyes." Karl did and he looked around the room, gasping and his hand fell to his mouth. He looked at Chandler and pulled him into a hug, tears threatening to spill over his bottom eyelids.

"Thank you." He whispered, laying his head on his shoulder. Chandler smiled and rubbed his back, cooing at his sleeping daughter laying on Karl.

"No problem. Maya helped too." Karl took his head off his shoulder and looked down at her, smiling softly at her.

"I guess she was tried." He whispered, kissing her head gently. Chandler let his eyes wander around his body and smiled at him. His hoodie just barely concealed his bump and his jeans were lower then usual. But his face, it seemed like the pregnancy glow was now coming through and making him look more beautiful than ever.

"Beautiful." He whispered to himself, watching Karl look around the nursery and smile softly, rocking their daughter in his arms.

____________

The night was quiet expect for the soft snores and quiet stirring. Karl couldn't sleep, the baby making things difficult as he sat underneath his lungs as he sat up against the headboard. The pillows behind his back were irritating him and he grabbed the pillows again to fluff it up so he could get comfortable. He put it back and laid back, groaning quietly as it didn't work. He looked over at Chandler and sighed as he didn't wake up. He put his hand on his shoulder and shook it, annoyed at him.

"Wh't?" He slurred and turned over to wrap an arm around his huge waist. Karl huffed and tangled his hand into his hair, giving Chandler pet scratches.

"I can't get comfortable." Shame flooded him as he stared at Chandler's tired face. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have woken you up."

Chandler opened his eyes and pulled Karl down onto the bed, turning him onto his side and spooning him. He wrapped his arms around his body and kissed his neck. He heard Karl groan again and stir, turning around to face him. The bump caused a lot of space between them, making Karl whine. Chandler made eye contact with him and placed his hand onto his cheek, turning onto his back.

"Come here." He mumbled, patting his chest. Karl scooted over and turned a little to lift his stomach up to lay on Chandler's body. He sighed when he was comfortable and wrapped his arms around Chandler. He smiled and leaned down to kiss his forehead, wrapping his arm around his wide frame.

"Happy?" Karl nodded and yawned, laying his head to where he could listen to his heart. A happy sigh came from his lips making Chandler chuckle, feeling his eyelids grow heavy. He watched Karl's eyes close and he smiled, kissing his forehead again and leaning back. He closed his eyes and fell asleep, the comfort of him and their baby lulling him to sleep.

______________

It was the day, the special day they have been waiting for. The day Maya would become a big sister, Karl won't have to be pregnant anymore, Chandler meeting the person he wanted to meet so bad and the day they would become a family of four.

The annoying beeps of the alarm woke them up, making them groan. Chandler sat up and shut off the alarm, turning over to where Karl was laying while rubbing his eyes. He slithered his hand underneath the sheets and searched for the bump. He met the warm swollen skin and placed his whole hand on the surface, rubbing circles against the surface.

"I don't want to go." He heard Karl grumble, turning his head slightly to look at the man who was rubbing his eyes and yawning. His fluffy hair fell in his eyes when he took his hands away, covering the beautiful grey. Chandler smiled softly and put his hand into his, pulling him up a little.
