7 months later

"Hi babe. Hey buddy." Jimmy spoke as Chandler entered the kitchen with Jaden next to him. Chandler came closer to him and grinned at him. Jimmy leaned down and kissed Chandler's stomach.

"Hi baby." Jimmy whispered to Chandler's stomach before straightening his posture.

"Mr. Jimmy?" Jaden asked as he hugged Jimmy's leg. Chandler leaned against the counter, the weight on him made it hard to stand up for too long.

"Yes bud?" Jimmy asked as he looked down at Jaden.

"When's baby coming out?" Jaden asked.

"Any minute now." Jimmy spoke back. He looked up at Chandler's stomach and brushed his fingers across it. "Any minute now."

"Ok Mr. Jimmy." Jaden spoke before running off to the guest room. Chandler and Jimmy started dating when Chandler was about six months pregnant.

"When do you think he's going to call me his dad?" Jimmy asked once Jaden was out of earshot. Chandler placed a hand onto Jimmy's shoulder and sighed quietly.

"Give him time. He still thinks that my ex-husband is his dad, which he is. He's not used to it yet. Maybe in a couple years, he'll call you dad. Just give it time." Chandler spoke. Jimmy sighed, but nodded.

"When's your due date again?" Jimmy asked as he grabbed a cup and poured the brewing pot of coffee into it. Jimmy brought the cup to his lips and started drinking it.

"Today actually." Chandler spoke. Jimmy almost spit out his coffee and he placed the cup onto the counter.

"Today?" Jimmy asked, in shock and wondering why Chandler was so calm about it.

"Yeah today." Chandler spoke, wincing when he felt the baby kick his ribs. Jimmy noticed and placed his hands onto Chandler's stomach.

"You ok? Contracting?" Jimmy asked as he glided his fingers back and forth across it. Chandler shook his head and exhaled a breath when the baby moved from underneath his lungs.

"Baby kicked my rib cage again." Chandler whispered, wincing again as the baby pressed their feet against the inside of Chandler's stomach. Jimmy noticed and left up the hoodie Chandler borrowed from him. He noticed two small feet outlines on the top of Chandler's stomach and he brought his fingers up to it and glided his fingers across it. Within seconds, the baby stopped pushing their feet up against Chandler's stomach.

"Calm down baby." Jimmy whispered. Chandler ran a hand through Jimmy's hair and smiled at him. Jimmy looked up and smiled a small smile at him.

"Thanks. I needed that." Chandler spoke, taking his hand out of Jimmy's hair and Jimmy straighten his posture out. Jaden came running into the kitchen holding a small car in his hand.

"Mr. Jimmy, play?" Jaden asked in his cute toddler voice. Jimmy picked him up and placed him on his hip.

"Of course, bud." Jimmy spoke. Jaden cheered then looked over at Chandler then down at his stomach.

"Come out baby so we can play." Jaden spoke to Chandler's stomach before patting it. Jimmy held back a laugh and Chandler chuckled.

"Baby will be coming out soon, so be patient." Chandler spoke to the toddler. Jaden looked up at him and nodded. He cling onto Jimmy's shirt with one hand and held the toy car in his other hand.

"Let's go play, buddy." Jimmy spoke. "Tell me if you are contracting or what me to calm them down, ok?" Jimmy whispered into Chandler's ear. Chandler nodded and watched Jaden and Jimmy leave the room to go to the guest room. He waddled back to Jimmy's and his shared room and eased himself onto the bed. He sighed in relief as the weight on him was a little easier on him when he was sitting.

3 hours later

Chandler was sitting on the bed, watching videos when Jimmy came into the room. He fell onto the bed with a big 'oof'. He rolled over onto his back and looked at his lover, who was looking down at him.

"Man that kid has energy." Jimmy spoke as he ran a hand through his hair. Chandler chuckled and nodded.

"Oh do I know." Chandler spoke. Jimmy shimmied up to Chandler's outstretched legs and placed his head onto them. He then brought his hand up to Chandler's swollen abdomen and placed it under it.

"Doesn't it hurt?" Jimmy asked as he kept his eyes on Chandler's swollen abdomen.

"Doesn't what hurt?" Chandler asked.

"I don't know. Carrying them?" Jimmy asked, using his other hand to rub Chandler's knee. Chandler shrugged and placed a hand on top of his stomach.

"I'm so used to the weight that sometimes I forget that I'm pregnant until I feel them kick or something." Chandler spoke. Jimmy nodded and turned his head to kiss Chandler's thigh.

"I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." Jimmy spoke as he got off Chandler's legs and laid his head on the pillow next to Chandler. Chandler nodded and kissed Jimmy's forehead.

"Night babe." Chandler spoke as Jimmy pulled the covers up to his neck. Jimmy smiled at the kiss and took Chandler's hand and kissed the back of it.

"Night babe. Night baby." Jimmy spoke before closing his eyes. Jaden came into the room and hopped up onto the bed.

"Mr. Jimmy sleeping?" Jaden asked. Chandler shushed him and nodded. Jaden nodded before going underneath the covers and over to Jimmy. He got onto Jimmy's chest and Jimmy wrapped his arms around Jaden while still sleeping. Jaden closed his eyes and fell asleep. Chandler smiled at the two before getting out the bed after kissing both their heads and walking out the room. He decided to clean the kitchen while the two slept.

2 hours later

Maybe cleaning the kitchen was a bad idea. Chandler leaned against the counter and gasped as he put his hands onto his stomach and gripped it.

"No no no." Chandler whispered to himself as the contraction grew worse. He threw his head back and groaned. He had been having contractions for the last two hours and they were only 15 minutes apart. Jimmy walked in the kitchen with Jaden on his hip, and when he saw Chandler, he placed Jaden onto the floor and ran over to his boyfriend.

"Babe, you ok? Contracting?" Jimmy asked, taking Chandler's hands off his stomach and placing them into his. Chandler squeezed them and rested his forehead onto Jimmy's shoulder. He hummed and Jimmy nodded, trying to keep calm but in the inside he was freaking out.

"How far apart?" Jimmy asked. Chandler lifted his head up once the contraction faded and looked into Jimmy's eyes, who were looking back at him worried filled in them.

"15 minutes." Chandler spoke.

"Do you want me to bring you to the hospital?" Jimmy asked. Chandler shook his head and grabbed Jimmy's arms and snaked them around his torso, above his stomach.

"I have to wait until the contractions are 5 minutes apart or my water breaks, which neither of them happened yet." Chandler spoke. Jimmy nodded then flicked his eyes down to Chandler's stomach that was between them then back up to Chandler's eyes. Jaden had ran off to somewhere in the house, probably back into the guest room playing with his toys.

"Alright. Want to lie down?" Jimmy asked as he rocked Chandler's body in his arms. Chandler nodded and let Jimmy guided him to their room. Jimmy pulled Chandler towards him so he wasn't leaning on the counter and slowly spun Chandler's body until his back was facing him. Jimmy put his hands onto Chandler's hips and kept Chandler steadied while they walked to their room. They made it there and Jimmy spun Chandler around and sat him onto the bed. He knelt down in front of Chandler and looked up at him. Chandler's face had a pain expression on it and he gripping the bedsheets in one hand.

"Want to move?" Jimmy asked. Chandler nodded and got onto the bed fully.

"Help me." Chandler spoke. Jimmy nodded and he got onto the bed next to Chandler. He put his hands onto Chandler's hips and rubbed his back thumb over them.

"Hands and knees." Chandler whispered. Jimmy nodded and helped Chandler onto his hands and knees, and lifted Chandler's hoodie and placed his hands onto Chandler's lower back and started massaging it. Chandler rocked slowly on his hands and knees and groaned.

"Please come out." Chandler breathed out as he hung his head down and groaned again. Jimmy sighed quietly before bringing his lips up to Chandler's bare skin and kissed it.

"They'll come out. Just give them a little bit." Jimmy spoke and planted another kiss onto Chandler's back.

"But it hurts so much." Chandler whined, gripping onto the sheets in a tight fist and held back his cries at them unbearable pain.

"I know it hurts. Do you think you can rest with the pain?" Jimmy asked and put more pressure onto the area he massaged.

"No. I think I c-aaaahhhh!" Chandler screamed mid sentence as he felt a gush of water running down his leg and a contraction taking over his body. Jimmy's hands wrapped around Chandler's stomach so Chandler wouldn't collapse and hurt the baby.

"Go." Chandler whimpered. Jimmy nodded and got Chandler off the bed. He picked him up and ran out the house.

"Wait! What about Jaden?" Chandler asked, panting as the pain was making it harder for him to breath.

"I'll call my mom and tell her to watch over him." Jimmy spoke as they went out the house. They got to the car and Jimmy placed Chandler into the passenger seat. He shut the door and took out his phone to call his mother.

"Alright. Let's have that baby." Jimmy spoke as he shut the door getting into the car. Chandler nodded and grabbed Jimmy's hand and gripped it until his knuckles turned white. Jimmy started driving to the ER, trying not to react to the death grip Chandler had on his right hand.

"Alright. We're here." Jimmy spoke as he parked the car. Chandler groaned and let his head drop. Jimmy turned to him and put his fingers under Chandler's chin and lifted his chin up.

"You got this, Chandler." Jimmy spoke before kissing his forehead and flashing him a small smile.

"Ok." Chandler breathed out and closed his eyes. He let go of Jimmy's hand and Jimmy got out the car and went over to Chandler's side and helped him out the car. They got inside the ER and talked to one of the receptionists. They went to the room that they were assigned.

"Alright. I'm just going to check to see how far dilated you are." The nurse spoke. Jimmy nodded and helped Chandler onto the bed. He pushed Chandler onto the bed lightly and Chandler whined when Jimmy did and Jimmy kissed Chandler's forehead.

"Sorry babe." Jimmy whispered to Chandler. The nurse put his legs up and slipped her fingers in the check his dilated. The nurse made a confused face. Jimmy looked at her concern as she slipped her fingers out his body. Chandler looked at Jimmy and Jimmy rubbed the back of his hand. The nurse called some more nurses into the room and Chandler squeezed Jimmy's hand. Jimmy watched them talking, more liking whispering, medical stuff to each other. One of the nurses came over to them to explain what the problem was.

"The baby's in a breech position. This means we have to do an emergency cesarean section on Mr. Hallow. I'm sorry but we can't have you in the room while we do the procedure, Mr. Donaldson." The nurse spoke. Jimmy gassed quietly as Chandler's hand moved from Jimmy's hand to his wrist.

"Alright. Thank you. I guess I'll leave." Jimmy spoke, his voice low and he tried to hide the cracking in his voice. It pained him to leave his lover when he was in some much pain. And it didn't help that he overthink things sometimes. He kissed Chandler's forehead then pecked his lips before leaving the room. He heard Chandler whimper since he was scared when he gave him a kiss and it broke Jimmy's heart.

~35 minutes later~

Jimmy tapped his foot anxiously. He was staring down the door where Chandler was in. He just wanted to be in the room when the child was born. Not like the child was his, but he would gladly become another father to the baby and Jaden. He watched a nurse walked out the room and Jimmy stood up and walked up to her.

"Hello Mr. Donaldson. I have some news. You might want to sit down for this." The nurse spoke, sadness laced around his words. Jimmy nodded slowly and went back over to the chairs and sat down in one of them. The nurse sat down in the chair next to him and sighed heavily.

"I'm sorry, but Mr. Hallow and the baby didn't make it." The nurse spoke. Jimmy gasped and forced down the tears in his prick up his eyes when the words left her mouth.

"Wh-wh-what?" Jimmy stuttered, his hands shaking and he wrapped them around his arms and squeezed his biceps.

"Mr. Hallow died of a heart attack from the procedure. The baby died because of the lack of oxygen they were receiving." The nurse spoke. Jimmy put his head down and let his tears run down his cheeks.

"Why did this happen?" Jimmy whispered, his voice breaking. The nurse sighed and put her hand onto Jimmy's back.

"I don't know, sir. We tried everything we could but we didn't make it in time." The nurse spoke, rubbing Jimmy's back comfortably before taking her hand off. "I'm sorry, sir." She got up and left the waiting room to get back to her job. Jimmy collected himself and left the ER. He couldn't see Chandler's dead body. It was to much on him. How did the baby die? The baby was active a couple hours ago. They were moving and kicking around. It just didn't make sense. Jimmy got into his car and drove back to his house, holding back his tears.

"Mr. Jimmy? Where dada?" Jaden asked as Jimmy entered the house. Jimmy picked him up and cradled him close to him.

"Dada's gone." Jimmy spoke, his voice broken. He didn't know how to tell a toddler that they parent, more like best friend to Jaden, passed away.

"Dada gone?" Jaden asked as he looked up at Jimmy with tearful eyes. Jimmy let his tears fall and nodded his head.

"Mr. Jimmy, no." Jaden spoke, putting his head into Jimmy's neck. "Mr. Jimmy lie?"

"No Jaden. I'm not lying." Jimmy whispered, his voice breaking even more.

"Dada!" Jaden screamed, stuffing his face into Jimmy's neck and started crying hard. Jimmy rubbed his back and cried himself. Then, the door bust opened and Jimmy jump and turned around to be see a man in the doorway.

"Where's Chandler, you little s***." The man spoke. Jimmy gulped and cradled Jaden closer to him.

"H-h-he passed away, sir." Jimmy spoke, his body starting to shake at how scared he was. The man stepped closer to Jimmy and looked like he was going to punch him.

"That's my son." The man spoke. Jimmy stepped back and held Jaden closer to him if it was even possible. He realized that this man was Chandler's ex-husband. Chandler was right. He did drink a lot since he reeked of alcohol and he stumbled a little in his walk.

"I'm sorry sir, you can't have Jaden." Jimmy spoke. Why he tried to speak up to him and not just didn't give him back his son, he doesn't know.

"Well, I'll just call the police and tell them you are kidnapping my son." Drake spoke, spitting everywhere. Jimmy looked down at the child in his arms then back up at Drake. "What do you want to do?" An evil grin crossed Drake's face. Jimmy sighed and looked down at the child again and kissed his forehead.

"Baba, no go to Papa. Me want Baba." Jaden spoke. Tears sprung up into Jimmy's eyes and his heart started to break. He handed Jaden to Drake and stepped away from then so he wouldn't try to grabbed Jaden from Drake.

"Baba!" Jaden screamed and started kicking Drake. Drake held his legs together and walked out the door.

"I'm sorry." Jimmy whispered as he watched the door get slammed shut. He fell to the floor and started crying. He curled up into a ball and laid sideways on the floor as he cried. He wished they were still here, all of them laughing and being one happy family. He just wished and wished for that to happen, even though it would never happen.
