Chapter 12- "Why?"
Three Months have passed since their first family bond. Gabriella grew fond of her mother. And moon byul's heart strongly melted for her wife. She's been sleeping with her in the same bed. But they haven't touched each other. Respecting each other's boundaries since they need to be civil in Gabriella's eyes. That's why the little girl intends to request for them to give simple kisses and hugs. Moon byul became a little busy because she needs to work hard and hurry some of the important papers. So, wheein and Gabriella always got time to enjoy their mother and daughter bonding.
It was really lovely for wheein to wake up and see her daughter inside the house. The laughter and giggles were now can be heard inside the mansion again specifically in the living room. The maids were happy to see wheein smile again ear to ear. Gabriella was busy drawing something. "What are you drawing honey?" Wheein asked her daughter. Gabriella showed her the drawing while pointing it out. " This is me and daddy I saw the picture in your room, mommy"
Wheein was happy and flustered to see her daughter draw the picture from her bedroom. And maybe moon byul saw it too since she moved to their old room.
Wheein then hugged her daughter and gave her a peck on the cheeks. That the baby giggled. "Mommy, are you not with us in Bern? Don't you like us back then" Gabriella asked her mother that made wheein remember what happened that night? She pushed he thought and smiled at her daughter. "No baby, because I need to work here that's why I'm not with you and daddy," wheein said keeping up the smile. But deep inside her is pure pain, she never expects her daughter to ask about those things. " Aren't I important to you mommy" Gabriella then asked tears are starting to form in her eyes?

"No baby, never I love you more than anything in this world it's just that I need to leave," Wheein said residing to her daughter about it. "But why did you leave me and daddy?" Her daughter kept questioning her the tears in her eyes are already flowing. That's why wheein's tears crawled too. The drawing is getting wet because of the tears. Ajumma was there sighting the heartbreaking scene, with the other maids who remembered the tragic night. " I'm sorry baby but I promise to stay with you forever ok so stop crying now" wheein coed her daughter while wiping her tears. " Promise me, mommy, I love you and daddy," the little kid said before hugging her mother and kissing her cheeks.
Wheein can't even tell her daughter what happened. That it's her fault why they left her. She kissed someone and it was not her wife. She needs to face the consequences of her actions. Her daughter thought of them as unimportant for her that's why she can't do anything and make up stupid stories.

A Prose of Years
For decades, spiritualist Evert Kallstrom and his team have joined in humanity’s millennia-long fight against the beasts. Wielding their weapons and their ki, they fought and killed these great threats to civilization. And yet, despite their efforts, humanity was losing traction in the war. In the last fifty years alone, more cities had been overrun than in all of known history. While most thought the great beasts natural, a few knew the terrible truth. They were the product of a dark lord, who desired neither fame nor wealth nor power. Instead, his sole purpose was the genocide of humanity. While their peers dithered, a small faction of the strongest mankind had to offer—including Evert Kallstrom and his team—set out towards the Deadlands to find and confront this dark lord. After weeks of travel, twenty-one spiritualists found themselves approaching an ancient fortress wherein rested a being known only as the Eastern Guardian. All they found was death. But death has other plans for Evert. Evert bolts awake in his 16 year old body near his hometown, decades in the past. He is confused, poor and weak. But with grit, sweat, and years of experience, he won't let the future repeat itself. That level of strength won't be enough by itself (it wasn’t last time) and victory is hardly assured (he’ll need to reach farther and higher than he ever did), but Evert refuses to squander a second chance. [Other tags: First Person POV, Hard Magic, Faulty Memory] Volume 1 is complete and has been fully released. My current intention is not to write any sequel volumes. That said, I have also released appendices (SPOILERS) that cover the worldbuilding and future story-that-never-was. Comments suggesting fixes for grammar, misspellings, etc. appreciated. Note: If you came here from Candlelit Lives, these stories have nothing in common.

Unfortunately, Avalon is better known for its incredible lethality and the cutthroat attitude it promotes among its students. The Academy's graduates number among the strongest mages in the world, but only a rare few live long enough to join that illustrious number. Updates every Mon/Fri and some Wednesdays. Absolutely horrible, screwed up things can and will happen, do not read if you are uncomfortable with that sort of content. Sage ▸ Stiles Stilinski [Book One]
"You do realize that I'm supposed to tell you when you're throwing yourself into a dangerous situation and that doing this will probably get you killed, right?" "I don't need you to take care of me, Sage." "Says the werewolf that fell into the floor." Sage Connelly was notoriously known for the fire that killed her entire family when she was only ten years old. Granted, that name held importance for an entire year before people eventually forgot about the Connelly's and the other family involved in the fire, the Hale's. Nearly six years later, when the little girl is not so little anymore, Sage comes back with more than just a leather jacket hanging on her shoulders. She comes back with a personality distinctly different from what her old friends remembered, not only stunning Jackson Whittemore into silence but efficiently taking away Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski's ability to talk about the dead body found in the woods the night before. Even more, the bite on Scott's body that held an importance only two people in town could help him with: Sage, to her dismay, was one of them. When Derek Hale calls upon her help, giving her the title of Scott McCall's personal babysitter, she's inevitably forced to tag along with the boy's trusty side-kick. The introverted and overly, well, intimidating qualities that the blonde had lead Stiles Stilinski into an unfathomable struggle of convincing himself that Sage Connelly was just a crush, and that Lydia Martin would forever be the one holding his heart. That lasted as long as the one-way conversation the boy had with the strawberry blonde in the middle of a hospital. His downward spiral leads him directly into the arms of a stubborn, damn blonde that was confident she didn't need a boy in her life that was still tripping over an elementary school crush.
