was pouting at the two oldest. "you guys really don't have to do this, you know right?" what hyejin wanted to say was "don't do this before I tackle you,". yong nodded at hyejin. "we want to help our youngest, right byul?" her stern gaze toward the other caused byul to gulp. "uh—of course!" she scratched the back of her head.
yong caught wheein in her peripheral vision.
"there she is!" yong whispered to her lover. "go on. go apologize," byulyi pushed yongsun. "don't push your unnie!" yong scolded the girl. "i'm sorry did i break your back?" byul smiled at the fuming girl. "you better shut up before i slap you!" yong stomped toward the girl. "hey, weren't you supposed to apologize?" hyejin quickly broke up the two girls from hitting each other.
"yeah. you better be thankful i want to do this, or I'd rip your head off," oddly hyejin really did think she would. yong took a deep breath and calmly walked over to wheein.
yong wasn't this nervous before, why was she right now? "wheein-ssi?" the said girl looked over at the voice. "i don't want to talk to you," wheein began to walk away. "look, i'm sorry. i didn't mean to hurt you," the desperation in yongsun's voice caught wheein's attention.
"well you did. i'm over it now, there's no need to apologize anymore," wheein coldly spoke. the venom dripping from the girl's voice was threatening and very scary. "plus i could hear you screaming from a mile away. i understand that you mean well," the shorter glared at the ground. a light pink dusted yong's facial features. "you really heard me? i thought i was whispering," yong began to question herself.
wheein could feel the anger evaporate from her body
a small chuckle left wheein's lips. "you're always so clueless," the girl looked at yong and her face visibly softened. she's changed wheein thought.
"i forgive you," wheein smiled as she walked away. "would you like to walk with us?" yong shouted over for wheein to hear. wheein turned her head over her shoulder. "maybe next time,"
a dumbfounded yongsun smiled. "alright," she turned her body towards her two anticipating idiots. byul and hyejin were nervous, they were on their tippy-toes waiting for a response from either of the two. they got even more antsy when wheein walked away.
"how was it?" "is she mad still?" "are you okay?" the two of them bombarded yongsun with questions. "yes. yes i'm fine, and she is too," byul sighed in relief. "good,".

silence engulfed the three as there was nothing to be said. solar and byul kept glancing at the other. "so, how are you gonna ask her out," byul broke the silence. hyejin's cheeks turned pink and her face felt like it was on fire.
"I—uh was deciding to do it next year," yong choked on her chuckled. "that's way to long," byul joined in on the 'make fun of hwasa until she's a blushing mess' train and started to tease the younger. "yeah hyejin. wayy to long," the girl slurred her words together. "we barely know each other," "it's been almost a year since you've known her," "okay and?" hyejin crossed her arms.
the school bell rung and hyejin made sure she was out of there before the two could do any more damage to her ego. "bye you guys," hyejin raised a peace sign and ran out of there.

"jinnie~," the puppy whined towards hwasa. "mhm?" she looked towards the pup who was walking towards her. "let's go somewhere," wheein pulled on hyejin's sleeve like a child. "hold on I'm still cleaning up my desk," wheein rolled her eyes at the lion's response. "when did you start caring," "the day you showed me how much my education means to me," hyejin feigned offended.
"I did no such thing!" wheein slapped hyejin's arm. the other responded by laughing at the girl heartily. "well let's go, I'm finished," hyejin picked up her bag. "am i gonna drive again?" "i wanna drive!" hyejin screamed and raced towards the car.
it started when hyejin needed to get picked up often, but now she went to school and back with wheein everyday. "you better not wreck my car!" wheein ran right behind hwasa. they both knew she was an—at best—average maybe a little below average driver.
"trust me~" hwasa said as she lifted her foot to step into the driver's seat of the car. "okay, okay," wheein jokingly stepped in slowly. "so you know what's super weird?" wheein told the other. "something unexpected happened today," wheein paused for dramatic effect "I'm sure yongsun has already told you but she apologized, and weirdly, I felt something," half of hyejin was curious. too curious for her own good.
"do you still like her?" wheein hummed in thought. "yeah, a little I guess," she let out that shy smile that hwasa loved so much. "that's cool," wheein sat back in her seat comfortably. there was a short, but comfortable silence that filled the air.

"has any person crossed your mind?" hyejin thought about what to say.
should she give herself away?
"nah," hyejin brushed that conversation off the tip of her tongue. how come she was so cowardly. "how's your day? excluding the weird conversation with solar," "solar?" wheein tilted her head like a lost puppy. "ah—yongsun," "hmm, it's been okay. y'now like the regular, it's the same everyday. i should change things up once a while," the girl ranted softly. "how about you?"
"same as you," just excluding the part where wheein lot low-key just rejected me right now hyejin cringed at the thought. the car ride was silent, but a more awkward silence filled the air. "solar," wheein hesitated. "where'd she get that nickname," hyejin laughed at the memory.
the small black haired girl puffed her chubby cheeks. "I hate my name so much! why can't mine be as cool as yours?" yong puffed her cheeks in annoyance "mine's so boring," yongsun looked at byul while pouting "yeah, yours is so cool, moon byulyi! wow!" hyejin joined in.
"I am changing my name!," yongsun looked up in thought as the shy girl stared at her. "solar! like the sun. wouldn't that be the coolest name?" byul let out a small laugh. "then I want to change mine to moonbyul!" yong clenched her fists. "copycat!" "no way!" the two butt heads.
"I wanna change mine too!" hyejin told the others. "hmm, windyjin?" byul suggested. "or—or uh—" yongsun thought. "how about hwasa? it sounds like an adult name!" hyejin jumped up and down at the name she loved. "then it's official! we are no longer yongsun, byulyi, and hyejin. we are solar, moonbyul, and hwasa," solar clapped her hands together.
the three had told their other friends about their 'new names' and had every teacher and student call them that.
the only nickname that actually stuck was hyejin's, while the other two thought their old nicknames were childish (and preferred their old names). but, from time to time they'll unconsciously say the nickname.
the memory that was engraved in hyejin's mind made her smile ear to ear. "how long have you guys been friends for?" wheein questioned her once more. "I became friends with them in the second grade, but they've been friends forever," hyejin explained to the girl. "but—the three of us had a falling out in the ninth grade. solar—yongsun was going through some stuff, byul was dealing with family issues, and well—puberty,"
"but we all solved our issues and have been friends since," wheein smiled at the statement. "that must be nice. having long time friends," wheein whispered underneath her breath. she was thankful hyejin couldn't hear it because her words would've made the girl guilty. "you should really sit with us at lunch. I'm sure that you'll fit in," if hyejin was truly being honest, the three have never been the same since the fight.
it was like they were missing something. something so important. at first hwasa thought it was because of the affection byul gave yong, but now since that was out of the way it still felt like there was a missing piece of a puzzle. it's always been the three of them, but what if the extra addition was wheein? she could be the final piece the three have been trying desperately to find.
but still—the strained relationship between wheein and yongsun would still be there and—"yah ahn hyejin!" wheein caught the girl out of her thoughts. hyejin hummed in response, she really was caught up in the moment. "what i was saying is, i'm better off by myself,"
lone wolf wheein was truly annoying.
"stop thinking that everyone will hurt you," "i wasn't thinking that!" wheein retaliated playfully. "plus I think your friends wouldn't like me," hyejin trained her eyes on the road.
geez this car ride is so long, "yongsun? i'm sure she'll be your friend, byulyi—doesn't care," wheein muffled a giggle. "you sure about that?" "yes," "then i'll join you tomorrow," hwasa grinned. "good, good,"
"hyejin where are we?"
"on the way home,"
"this isn't the way,"
"huh?" hyejin exclaimed. "what do you mean this isn't the way home," wheein stared at the girl as if she was psycho. "you got us lost?" wheein screamed at the younger. "well—i was too busy talking to your—" "don't even," "pull this car over!"
hyejin pulled the car over and smiled cheekily. "sorry wheenie~" wheein grumbled while fishing out her phone. "great hyejin. I knew i should've drove!"

Single Mother Cultivator: Determination to deny her naïve son a terrible destiny
Lucia Martinez had to fight for every little victory in her life, especially when she was responsible for raising a teenage son by herself. But when the teen gets summoned to another world by a dysfunctional martial sect as their would-be savior, she’ll have to fight harder than ever just to get him back. Brought along to a world of Eastern fantasy, Lucia finds herself face to face with obscure magical creatures, various rich cultures, and a familiar yet unique chi-based magic system that every faction has their own way of looking at. Single Mother Cultivator is as the title suggests, a Cultivation novel. Unlike other Cultivation stories, this one focuses on multiple Asian mythologies rather than just Chinese myth, and isn’t just a generic power fantasy. It explores the very nature of strength itself, and how it could and should be used. The foundational power system is the same for both major factions, with differences in their philosophies on how to pursue it. New chapters on Mon-Wed-Fri

Generic Zombie survival Wuxia Cliche story
Same old same old. Zombies attack. Zombies Evolve. Humans evolve. Humans gain superpowers. No deep plot, no plot planned out at all actually. Writing it as I go and because I'm a sad boi trying to use stories as a form of escapism. Not going to proofread, not going to check for grammar or anything. Will definitely read like a machine-translated Chinese amateur web novel. Have a nice day. (The cover is from one punch man, no this is not a fanfic) (I don't actually plan/think anything in this will be too gory or "traumatizing" but since its a zombie survival story I thought I might as well add it, plus the fact that the MC does some pretty messed up stuff. He's the stereotype Wuxia villain so to speak, expect competently and not dumbed down to make the hero look smart.) I will add warnings in author notes before chapter starts if anything particularly "gory" or trigger events happen.
