The two sisters finished hugging and looked at each other like they were keeping a secret. Which they were, a secret only Peggy and Angelica knew.
"You know Angelica, we are already finished shopping. Eliza and I grabbed some shoes and accessories we thought you'd might like. We would've taken you, but you were sleep." Peggy explained
"Wait, I missed shopping? How long did I sleep for? What time is it?" Angelica inquired
"Angelica, you slept all day. It's currently 4:20 pm."
"Wait really? Ugh, now I won't be able to sleep. I'm gonna look so tired tomorrow. Can you believe it? The ball is tomorrow! We've waited days, weeks, months for this night, Peggy! I just can't believe it's here after so long... but still... I don't know if I should go."
Peggy was surprised and her jaw dropped at her sister
" You don't know if you should go? You don't know if you should go?! Angelica, this is the event of 1780! If you miss this, it will be talked about," Peggy had a sudden realization " Oh, you don't want to go because of the dreams, correct?" Angelica nodded in response.
"Angelica, don't let this stop you. If anything, these dreams might've been preparing you for this night. To stop Eliza from getting her heart broken. You have to go. I'm not letting you stay home." Peggy said with determination.
"Peggy, if I go, then I might mess it up. What if I don't follow the dream? What if it all goes straight to hell? What if-"
"For Christ's sake, Angelica, breathe. You told me you gave up Alexander in the dream, yes? Well maybe you shouldn't do that. You need to keep him." Peggy explained
"But won't that hurt Eliza?" Angelica asked

"Of course it will, it's gonna crush her. You're gonna rip out her soul, spit on it, step on it, give it back, then crush her spirit. It's literally gonna kill her!"
"Dammit Peggy, that doesn't help at all! Ugh, why is this so complicated? I'm her sister! I should be ready to drop everything for her and always be ready to make her happy, regardless how I feel" Angelica sighed in frustration
"Your happiness matters as well. If anything you deserve him more than she does,"
Angelica looked at Peggy in shock, did Peggy really think that?
"You've been sacrificing for us our entire lives. That time I was courting a woman when I was 19, and someone told father that one of his daughters likes women. Instead of telling him it was me, you said it was you. He was so angry, I was scared for you. But you still sacrificed your freedom for a year, and that was just one example of your selflessness. Remember when the boy Eliza liked told her she was ugly and you punched him in the nose? Father was livid! But you got in trouble, yet again, for your sisters. See, sis? It's ok to take things for yourself for once." Peggy told stories of the Schuyler sisters' past and Angelica smiled as she felt a wave of nostalgia wash over her.
"Yeah, that boy was kind of a jerk. I'm glad Eliza didn't like him. But this man is also a jerk, Pegs! She shouldn't be hurt like this. I'll do it. I'm gonna take him for myself! But, is it worth the cause?" Angelica wondered
"Yes, Angelica, it will be worth it. You're keeping Eliza happy even though she can't see it right now. I just hope she'll take it well. You know Eliza, she's always been a bit over dramatic, then again so am I. You too now that I think about it. Jesus, this entire family is so overdramatic!" Peggy realized

"You're right," Angelica said in a sad tone "all I can hope is that she can forgive me eventually..."
Peggy looked at her sister with pity and gave her a hug. She walked away, not before looking at Angelica and feeling like she needed to intervene in some way. Maybe God could do something? Make Alexander get sick? Make Eliza sick so she can't go to the ball? No, she shouldn't wish sickness on anyone. Little did she know she'd be the one getting sick soon

Spirit of the Gamer
Waking up in a new world with a odd Gaming power? Not the worst thing... Waking up in a world of hungy ghosts, genocidal reapers, and things not quite covered in manga? Well, that was a little harder to adapt to. Story is OC inserted into pre-canon Bleach. This story will be a massive derail from normal Bleach. Expect random ideas, extremly slow start up, and more focus on characters and trying to be a better person. I don't own Bleach. The who does is Tite Kubo, please support the offical Manga/Anime.
