《Story Ideas》Fire Within

I understand that ideas for this come up all the time; however, I'm sure you're capable of making this story unique.

Title: Fire Within (or your own title)
Main Character/Hero: A girl around the age of eighteen or nineteen
Ideas: *Read the background information below to understand this* The story starts off with a girl living in some sort of foster home. The inspector (I imagine as a someone with authority and power; arrogant personality) will be coming by today, to check on the girls. The girl is running late, she is supposed to be standing at the foot of her bed for inspection. This gets her noticed by the inspector (young male), who takes her to his office to talk to her about the importance of curfew. She has a slightly rebellious spirit; he reminds her why he is in charge. He also goes as far back to remind her that her people, within the fire tribe, caused this town's present-day financial and criminal ruin. Later on in the story, she goes to a flee market (or wherever you would like), and there is a peculiar man who tells a tale of a group of people who live outside of the town's borders. They know the truth about the Light; he wants her to go with him to train to fight the Light. She is a bit wary at first; the people aren't allowed to practice their powers or go outside of the town without permission. After thinking it over, she goes with the man (she dislikes the Light as much as this man). There, outside of the town's borders, she learns to unlock her powers. She, while training (training will be physical, involving powers, but also mental/strategic training), discovers that the inspector is the head of the operation. He was working for the Light to gain information. They have an obvious dislike for each other, but they must put that aside for the sake of the operation. Eventually, they get closer to each other and become comrades. (You can make this story a romance, if you want to. But I won't go into detail about that.) This story is a struggle between good versus evil. (The ultimate conflict is the Light. They will try to destroy the Light and create a new form of government. You can have that play out as you would like.)

-Background Information: There will be a group of people who are in power (I call them the Light; as being referred to as an organization). The male instructor is part of the Light (until the protagonist finds out about him)... people with non-elemental powers. There will be four different kinds of people... people who are part of the earth tribe, water tribe, the Light, and fire tribe. The fire tribe has been declining (she is the only one with fire powers in the town, that she knows of), as they are being banned from the town/territory for going against the Light. The Light are known to dislike people in the fire tribe. If you haven't already picked this up, I envisioned this to be an elemental sort of story. But you could just make this a dystopian society story.

I hope you enjoyed! You can change this story to suit what you want to write/your writing style. Also, you don't have to let me know if you want to use this, but please give me credit for the idea in the description of the story or dedicate the first chapter to me (@samwise_gamgee).
Please comment or vote to let me know if you want me to keep on writing these. If you don't want to use this idea, I'll probably be updating one or two new story ideas a day... so check back here!
Thanks,

Jackal Among Snakes: GameLit Fantasy Progression
The royal bastard of House Vasquer, Argrave, has changed after his stay studying magic at the Tower of the Gray Owl. The sickly man's awkward posture and cruel behavior have been replaced with a neat dignity and acerbic wit. His listless life has found a path of undeniable purpose. Most come away thinking he seems to know too many details about too much. Few can claim to know his motives or his goals. Behind the scenes, though, the primary contributor for an open-world RPG's wiki battles existential dread and things far beyond his ken as he struggles to adapt to a grim, gothic fantasy world that he had the misfortune to claim as his favorite game. This is his tale. #####What to expect from this story##### This piece is a high-fantasy style story, featuring many of the species and surroundings one might expect to find in such a world. The cultures are original and well-developed, with the primary setting being a European-style feudal society. Warfare, fell beasts, and natural disasters are commonplace in Berendar, and take the center of many plots. The protagonist is a smooth-talker, but the world does not exist for him; he must struggle to gain power. Expect daily releases until we catch up to my backlog.
8 752Epilogue
Revised version now available! Amazon paperback, ebook, audiobook, Kobo, B&N, Google In the war-torn land of Cyraveil, four heroes strove to overthrow an empire. By cold steel and elemental sorcery, they brought peace to a warring land on the brink of destruction. As the flames died, the realm needed strong leadership, and who better than the champions who had saved the kingdom? But when the people sought out their saviors... they vanished. Matt, Blake, Jen, and Carl: the four mysterious companions, who together had deposed an insane ruler and saved countless lives, were gone—spirited back in a whirlwind of magic to a sleepy suburb in Mellbridge, Oregon, never to return. The friends found themselves home in the real world, exactly as they'd been the night they were taken, as if no time had passed... except only three came back. Hi there! This was my entry for National Novel Writing Month, because why only write one series at a time? The more the merrier! (meanwhile, my keyboard bursts into flames...) I'm also the writer of The Last Science, an ongoing low-fantasy/speculative sci-fi series. If you're familiar with that, you know what to expect here: lots of character-focused drama and dialogue, not a whole lot of traditional action. However, I'm writing a bit differently than usual here, and in a very different structure, so there should be some surprises for returning readers. I hope you enjoy it! [Discord] — for those of you who want to hang out and chat. Cover art (fullsize): Path of Revelation, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. Normally I like to do my own cover art from scratch, but I was in a rush for the contest. Might be replaced down the line if I get time.
