Chapter 61

"My parents?" I gasped, pure shock laced in my low, breaking voice. Mason and the guard snapped their heads over at me, their eyes wide in surprise. The guard nodded his head and I ran up to Mason. Mason grabbed my hand in comfort and looked back at the guard, nodding his head.

"Let them enter," Mason told him. The guard nodded and ran off. I stood there, in my place shocked. The man's words circled my mind, making my head spin with confusion and many unanswered questions. I always knew my parents were alive, but hearing that they were actually here made my heart rate speed up.

I felt my eyes water at the thought of finally seeing my parents after three months. Those three months felt like a year. I just wanted to run into my parent's arms and never leave. At this moment, I realized how much I missed them.

I looked up at Mason to see him staring down at me. He tugged on my hand and started walking. "Come on. Let's go," he whispered gently at me. I nodded, walking with him down at stairs and towards the packhouse doors. My breath was shaky. I was nervous. What if it wasn't them and I was getting my hopes up? Where were they all this time? Are they ok? Many questions hit me like cold water, making me more nervous by the minute.

While we were walking towards the doors, Lina came running towards us. She immediately pulled me into a hug and greeted me. I pulled away and smiled at her softly. Mason pulled me away from her and gave her a pointed look. "Not now, Lina," he murmured. "We have to go."

She raised a brow and looked at me. "Where?" She asked.

"Outside," I responded. "I think my parents are here." Her smile grew after an expression of shock crossed her features.

"Oh my gosh. Really?" She gaped. I shrugged my shoulder, not knowing what to say. Mason tugged onto my hand and I gave her one last smile before we turned around and walked out of the packhouse. I kept biting my lip as I tried to calm my breathing.

We walked outside but stopped in our tracks when we saw five people emerging from the trees, walking towards us with several guards by their side. My breath got stuck in my throat as I eyed the five people. My eyes widened and I felt my vision blur. Right in front of me were my parents, Adam's parents, and an old lady that I never saw before.

My heart sped up as I ran up to them. A couple of tears fell out my eyes as I saw my father and mother running up to me, finally engulfing me in a tight bear hug that made me gasping for air. I tightened my arms around them as I buried my head on their shoulders, letting the tears fall.

"My sweet baby," my mother cooed. "It's ok. We're finally here." I cried against them as they comforted me with words. My father was crying in happiness as my mother tried to hold the tears.

"Tiana," my father cried, tightening his arms around me. "I missed you, Baby. I missed you so much." I pulled my faces and looked up at them, tears staining my cheek. They were looking down at me with so much happiness that made my heart full. I wiped the tears from my cheek and smiled up at them.

"I missed you too," I whispered. "I was so worried that something happened to you two." My mother ran her hand up and down my back in comfort, before smiling down at me.

"Don't worry. We were fine all this time," she spoke, glancing at my father. My father wiped the tears from his cheek and nodded, before smiling. "We'll tell you everything." I pulled them in for a hug and after a moment, we finally pulled away.

I smiled up at them in joy. I was thrilled that I finally saw them. I missed them so much that I felt like this was all a nice dream, and I was about to wake up any minute now.

Mason came walking towards us, before nodding at my parents. My parents looked at Mason and nodded their heads in respect, knowing that he was the Alpha. "Alpha," they greeted. "Thank you for letting us in." Mason nodded one more time before wrapping his arm around my waist, making my mother's eye widened with glint.

"There is no need to thank me," he spoke, glancing at me before turning his attention back at them. "You are my mate's parents, so you are welcomed to stay here." Their eyes widened and my mother gasped in joy. My father stood there, staring at us in shock as my mother pulled me in for a hug.

"Oh my gosh. You finally found your mate," she gushed, before pulling away. I smiled up at her, happy that she was accepting us. I glanced at my father, seeing his lips curve up in a smile. "Who knew the man I told my daughter stories of would-be her mate?" He muttered under his breath before hugging me like my mother. I laughed, happy that he felt the same.

"I would give him the 'break my daughter's heart, I'll break your face' talk but he's an Alpha," my father whispered in my ear, making me laugh once again. I pulled away and stepped next to Mason, as he wrapped his arm around me. Adam's parents came next to my parents, smiling at us.

I smiled at them and pulled them in for a hug. "I'm so glad you guys are ok," I whispered to them.

"Oh, Honey. We're happy that you and my son are ok," Adam's mother spoke, before pulling away and looking around. "Where is he? I want to see him." I smiled sadly at them and glanced at Mason. I opened my mouth to speak but Mason spoke before I could.

"He's a pack warrior serving in our allied pack. I already contacted him and he's on his way," Mason responded, making my eyes widen. I looked over at him and smiled. He looked down at me and kissed my head.

Adam's parents let out a sigh of relief and nodded their heads. I looked at my parents to see them staring at us in awe. I then glanced at the old lady that remained silent this whole time. I furrowed my brows in confusion and took a whiff of her scent before my eyes widened.

She wasn't a werewolf, she's a witch.

Mason seemed to notice as well, as he tightened his arm around me. My parents saw us eyeing her and they took a step closer to us before Mason spoke.

"Who's she?" He questioned. "What's a witch doing on my land?" The old lady remained silent and my mother stepped closer to me, grabbing my hand.

"Can we go inside so we can talk? There is something important she has to tell you both," my mother asked. Mason nodded his head and stepped aside, letting them walk to the packhouse. We walked back in silence while I was confused at what my mother had said.

I pushed my questions aside and walked in the packhouse, and up to Mason's office. Us seven walked into Mason's office and before Mason could closer the door, Lina came walking in. I raised a brow at her and she shrugged her shoulders, sitting in front of me.

The witch eyed Lina, her eyes widening but not saying anything.

"What's going on?" Lina whispered to me. I shrugged my shoulders at her.

"I don't know," I responded. She nodded then glanced at my parents with a smile.

"I'm happy that you and your parents reunited," she said.

I smiled at her before speaking, "thanks." I turned to my mother and that's when she started to speak. She gave me a comforting smile before glancing at the witch then at Mason.

"This is Gia. She's a friend of mine since I was little," my mother spoke, before glancing at me. My eyes widened at her words. "Gia can see glimpses of the future since she's a witch. Months ago, Gia saw a glimpse of our pack being under an attack, so she warned us. We informed the Alpha but he didn't believe it. He did nothing. We tried informing the pack but the Alpha refused to let us warn the pack of something he thought wasn't going to happen, so Gia gave us and Adam's parents an invisibility potion. That day when our pack was attacked, we four took the potion and we managed to escape," my mother spoke, glancing at all of us.

Mason's eyes were wide with surprise and so were mine. I never even knew that my mother was friends with a witch.

"We went to her house and stayed there for months. She tried helping us find you, casting a tracking spell, but it took time. It took three months to track you and Adam down, and when we knew you were here, we came as soon as we could," my mother explained, smiling at me.

I smiled at her and glanced at Gia, who looked serious.

"But there's more," my mother whispered, glancing at Gia. Gia nodded and my mother continued. "Since Gia can see the future, she found out who attacked us that night, and she saw some glimpses." My mother glanced at Gia. Everyone in the room was quiet, waiting for her to continue.

But instead, Gia spoke. "There is an Alpha who owns a pack of vampires and rogues. He is an old Alpha who has a son around your age. The Alpha's name is Roy, but he isn't a werewolf, he's a vampire. His son is a hybrid, half-vampire and half werewolf. His name is Asher. There is a prophecy that claims that two hybrids of different kinds can breed the most powerful offsprings.

Roy knew this and formed a pack of rogues and vampires. He started looking for a hybrid, different than his son so he can force his son and her to breed powerful offsprings so the family could grow to be the most powerful supernatural family in the world. And when he found out Tiana was a hybrid, half-angel, and half-werewolf, he attacked the pack.

He wants you, Tiana," Gia spoke, pointing at me. My breath got stuck in my throat and my eyes widened. "Not for him, but for his son. He knows where you are, that's why you keep encountering vampires and rogues. They're trying to get you."

Mason let out a loud growl but the witch shushed him, glaring at him. "I see a big war right around the corner, they will stop at nothing to have her," she croaked, pointing at me. My mother and father were looking at me with worry and sadness, as Lina looked at me with shock.

While Mason looked angry, he looked outraged.

"But it can be prevented," Gia spoke after a while, making us snap our heads at her.

"How?" I asked, my eyes widening with hope. She breathed in and nodded.

"One person can prevent this war from happening," she stated. Mason stood up and glared at her.

"Who?" He roared. Gia glanced at him before her eyes moved across the room, before stopping at someone. I followed my gaze and my eyes went wide as I saw her eyes landing on Lina.

She pointed at her. "Her, she can prevent the war."
