Chapter 52

I hum out in comfort as I felt a warm finger trail down my cheek, making the familiar sparks to erupt. A hand roamed through my hair and played with it, making me sigh out. I was pulled closer to a hard, warm chest that made me breathe out. The hand kept touching my cheek, hair, and arm, making me move my head as I started to awaken from my sleep. The familiar sparks stopped as the hand immediately pulled away from my skin. I whine and slowly open my eyes.

The first thing I saw was a chest. The arm that wrapped around my body tightened as I tried to pull away, but couldn't. I slowly raised my head to see Mason next to me. He offered me a lazy smile, making my face flush. Memories of yesterday flooded my head. I bit my lip but soon smiled up at him. "Morning," I whispered.

"Morning," he replied back, digging his nose into my hair and inhaling my scent. "You smell so good," he started. "My scent is all over you. Now everyone will know that you're mine." My eyes widened slightly at his words. Those words my heart rate speed and cheeks heat up.

Mine. I like the sound of that.

I was still surprised by yesterday. It was all overwhelming and I still had to remind myself that it was all real, and not some kind of weird, yet wonderful dream. I still couldn't believe that Lina would do something like kidnap me? It was too hard to comprehend. However, knowing Lina, she's full of surprises and I wouldn't expect that from anyone except her. I was a little upset that she scared me but what she did was hella clever. I kind of owe it to her. Who knows, if she didn't do that then maybe Mason and I would never have confessed.

It didn't bother me that he confessed to me at that time and not some kind of romantic dinner. I didn't need that. What mattered to me is that Mason's feelings are genuine and real. Other than that, I don't care if he confessed to me at a bank robbery. That's the least of my worries.

Mason drastically pulled me out of my thoughts when his lips touched the place he marked me yesterday, making my eyes widen in pleasure. A comfortable sigh escaped my lips and I closed my eyes, enjoying the feeling of his lips on my skin. It was pure bliss. He licked the mark, making jolts of pleasure run down my body.

I never felt this way. This made me feel excited and lust engulfed me without a second thought. I bit my lip to try to prevent the moan that threatened to escape. He continued to kiss my mark, making my body weak. My hands automatically went to his soft hair, grabbing a handful and tugging on them. He let out a groan and soon pulled away, making me frown.

I opened my eyes to see Mason staring intensely at me, his eyes full of lust. I let out a long breath as he smiled down at me. "Beautiful as ever," he whispered so softly. I blushed and smiled up at him. He then kissed me on my lips before pulling away, looking into my eyes. "I can't get enough of you."

I let out a soft giggle and pulled away from him. I rubbed my hand over the spot he marked me, surprised to feel no pain. I looked up at him and smiled at his appearance. He was in sweatpants and a normal shirt, but damn did he look hot.

Tiana, jump him!

I mentally fought with myself to prevent myself from doing something I might regret later...or not. Mason stared down at me with a sly smirk, knowing that I was eyeing him. I shook my head but looked out the window, to see birds chirping and the sky clear from any clouds.

"What time is it?" I asked, looking around his room. He sat up and pulled his phone from the desk, opening it to see the time. I bent over to see the time but soon hung my mouth open in shock as I stared at his lock screen. His lock screen was me blushing. The picture he took of me when I blushed and told him to delete. Well, clearly he didn't delete it.

I gaped at him as I registered what I saw. He freakin had my picture as his wallpaper! I wasn't so sure if I should have felt happy or embarrassed.

"It's 9 AM," he answered, looking over at me. He stared at my surprised expression then broke out into a smirk.

"You have my picture as your lock screen?" I questioned, glancing down at his phone then at him. He nodded his head and shrugged his shoulders. "Yes, I do," he replied, raising a brow. "Does that bother you?"

I bit my lip and shook my head. It didn't bother me. In fact, it actually made me happy. "No."

"Good." He smiled down at me before standing up. "Come on, go get ready."

I stood up but raised a brow. "Ready for what?" I asked. He raised a brow and stepped closer to me, giving me a pointed look. "Did you forget? Today we're telling the pack that you're my mate and Luna." My mouth opened in an 'O' shape and I nodded my head, remembering him telling me this yesterday.

I felt something in me brighten at his words. This really meant to me. I was very happy that he wanted to tell the pack about me, but I was a little nervous that they wouldn't accept me. I mean, I was once known as 'the girl who's sleeping with the Alpha to get the Luna title'. I wonder what they'll think of me?

Guessing that Mason felt my worrying, he stepped closer to me and cupped my cheeks with his hands. Since he marked me, that means I can feel his emotions and he can feel mine. His scent will engulf me as a way to tell other males that I have a mate. And trust me, I don't mind that.

I looked up at Mason and he pecked my pouted lips. "Don't worry," he whispered. "They'll love you." I broke out into a smile and nodded my head, but soon frowned once again. Chloe came into my mind and that's when my heart fell to my stomach. I really wanted her dead. And I mean really. Ok, not really but you get what I mean. After what happened made me hate her a hundred times more. I was still bothered by the fact that she kissed Mason but I knew that it was he didn't want that to happen.

Mason's smile turned into a frown. "What's wrong?"

"What about Chloe? She hates my guts. I don't think she'll accept me as her Luna," I told him. I didn't really care if she accepted me or not. I just didn't want her in the way of Mason and I. Mason shook his head and looked down at me.

"You don't have to worry about her anymore."

My brows furrowed and I tilted my head in confusion. "What do you mean?" I asked.

"She's gone. I kicked her out of the pack," he answered. "She's a rogue now." I gaped at him in shock. My eyes widened as I registered his words into my head.

"You kicked her out?" I asked in disbelief, even though he just said so.

"Yes. I gave her many warnings but she still messed with you," Mason murmured. "I had enough of her." I nodded my head, relieved that I wouldn't have to deal with her anymore.

"When was this?" I questioned. Mason looked down at me with sad eyes. "The day she kissed me."

I cringed at that but nodded my head. "What about her family?"

"She doesn't have one. She was taken into the pack when she was small. She was found as a rogue, by herself. So the old Alpha took her in," Mason explained. I couldn't help but furrow my brows as he said 'old Alpha' and not 'dad'. I decided to not question it because I didn't want to upset him and ruin the mood.

I nodded my head in understanding and pulled away from him. I didn't feel bad that she was a rogue now. Mason did give her a warning but she disobeyed. Her fault.

"I'll go get ready," I told him, stepping away for him. He nodded his head.

"I'll see you in an hour."

I smiled at him as he placed a gentle kiss on my cheek before I turned away, opened his bedroom door, and walked out of his room. I was walking down the hall and towards my room when I heard loud music blasting through the air. I frowned in confusion. Who would be doing that at a time like this? There could be people sleeping right now.

My frown deepened as I heard the music get louder and louder as I walked towards my room. I was one door away from my room when I noticed that the loud music was coming from the room right next to mine. I furrowed my brows.

I thought that room was empty?

I slowly walked up to that room so I could see what was going on and stopped when I noticed the door was wide open. I heard a man's voice sing along to the music as I neared the room. I walked closer to that room and peeked in to see a tall, buff man I've never seen before dancing some funky dance moves along to the music.

I held back the laugh that threatened to escape as I watched the man dance. He danced his heart out to the music which made me smile. He wasn't bad at dancing, but he wasn't the best either. And that's what made it funny. I watched him dance as he was oblivious to my presence.

His back faced me but he soon did a turn, facing me. His eyes widened as he saw me by the door, but his shocked face disappeared in an instant and was replaced with a smile. He turned the music off and walked up to me.

"You know it's rude to stare at someone like that," the guy spoke in a teasing voice, making me roll my eyes.

"You know there are people sleeping and you could've woken them up," I told him, crossing my arms against my chest. He broke out into a goofy smile and shrugged his shoulders.

"Oops. My bad," he mumbled but raised a brow playfully at me. "And who may you be?"

"I could ask you the same thing," I said. "I never saw you here before and this room was always empty."

His lips curved into a smile and he stepped closer to me. "Are you the person who's in the room next to this?" He asked, talking about my room. I slowly nodded my head as an answer. His smile grew and he raised his hand over at me, gesturing for me to shake it.

"It's nice to meet you. I'm your new neighbor," he stated, happily. My eyes widened and I stared at him a little surprised. "I'm one of the new pack warriors that moved in here two days ago. The name is Ameer." I nodded my head then offered him a small smile, shaking his hand.

"Welcome to the pack, Ameer. It's nice to meet you. I'm Tiana," I greeted him. I was thankful that his behavior was friendly and positive. I did not need a stuck up person as my neighbor.

"Well, Tiana. I hope we can get along because I don't want someone I dislike as my neighbor," Ameer spoke, a smile present on his lips.

"Trust me. I hope too," I claimed.

He chuckled and nodded his head. "I think we'll get along just fine."

I smiled and shook my head. I glanced in his room to see speakers, reminding me of his music and dancing awhile ago. I looked up at him and raised a brow, questioningly. "Do you usually blast music and dance?" I asked. He chuckled and shook his head.

"Not all the time. Only when I don't have the training and have free time," Ameer answered.

I nodded my head. "Just don't do that in the morning when I'm asleep. Trust me, you don't want to interrupt me from my sleep. I can become vicious." He laughed at my words and nodded his head. Adam crossed my thoughts as I said that. I would always argue with him because he'd wake me up when I didn't want to. It was our thing. He wakes me up and I attack him, our daily routines. Well, not anymore that is.

I really miss that guy.

"Don't worry about that. But I can't seem to imagine you as vicious," he chuckled. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms against my chest.

"You don't want to."

His eyes widened slightly and he nodded his head. "I'll be sure to remember that when I turn on my music in the morning," he muttered, making me smile.

"Great," I said, sweetly. "I should be going. There's a pack meeting in an hour and I have to get ready."

"Is it about you and the Alpha?" He asked. I narrowed my eyes at him and slowly nodded my head.

"Yes. How did you know?" I question, confused.

"You're marked," he replied, pointing to my neck. I placed my hand on my neck as a reflex. I completely forgot about that. "And something strong is radiating off of you. So I'm guessing you're the Alpha's mate, the Luna. Your mark is new so it was a guess."

I nodded my head and smiled. "Yeah. What you said is true," I murmured. "I guess I'll see you around." I took a step back and gave him a small wave. "Bye." He offered me a friendly smile before I turned around and left. As I was walking towards my room I heard him yell at me in a loud voice that I was sure everyone heard, "bye, neighbor! It was nice to meet you!"

I chuckled and entered my room with a smile.

Looks like I have one heck of a neighbor.
