Chapter 37
"I swear on my dead hamster's soul, if you don't give that back I will dig a big hole and murder you then bury you without anyone knowing, then I'll tell everyone that you moved away to Canada because you don't want Trump as your president!" I hissed.
Ryder looked over at me with wide eyes, amusement present with a hint of fear. He slowly backed away and gave me a sheepish smile.
"Ouch, babe. You'd do that because of this?" He asked, showing me the last piece of bacon that he stole from my plate. I growled lowly at him and stood up from my chair, facing him.
"I'd do more, that's nothing compared to what I want to do with you now. Now, give it back." I hissed at him. He gave me an amused look and slowly shook his head.
"No can do. This man over here-," he said pointing at himself, "needs all the energy he can get, so if you don't mind me, I'll be enjoying this bacon."
I growled as he raised the piece of bacon and placed it in front of his face, ready to eat it.
"Man? Oh, I'm sorry, but I don't see a man in front of me. I see a p*ssy," I shot at him. His eyes widened and he snapped his head over to me, looking at me with a shocked expression.
"Did...did you just call me a-," he started off shocked but soon growled out.
"You heard me loud and clear, you're a-."
"Stop!" He growled at me. "I am not a p*ssy."
"Yes, you are," I told him. He shook his head and gave me a pointed look.
"No, I'm not," Ryder hissed.
"Yes, you are," I said angrily. "Now give me back my food!"
Thankfully, there weren't many people in the kitchen to witness our bickering. It was all Ryder's fault, he was the one who started it by stealing my food, and no one, and I mean no one, steals my food. I was just minding my own business, eating my breakfast when all of a sudden a mutt snatched the last piece of bacon from my plate, making me very angry.
"No, this is what you get for calling me a p*ssy." Ryder growled then shoved the bacon in his mouth like a hungry pig. My eyes widened and a low, deep growl emerged from within my chest.
Rip bacon. You will be missed.
"You bastard!" I yelled then attacked my prey. His eyes widened and he stepped back, then turned around and ran towards the door. Before he had the chance to move an inch I jumped onto his back and tackled him. He let out a feminine scream and begged me to get off of him.
P*ssy all right.
"You ate my bacon!" I shrieked and hit his back.
"Get off of me!" Ryder yelled, screaming like a girl.
"No! You deserve to die, you bastard! Why him? He was innocent!" I hissed and punched his arm. Now I know what you are thinking! Overdramatic much? Nope, my food is worth everything.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry, okay? I won't do it again! Now get off of me!" Ryder shrieked. I growled at him and continued to hit his back.
"I'll make sure you won't do it again!" I growled and pulled his ear. He let out a growl.
"Tiana! It's just bacon! You're overreacting!" Ryder hissed at me. A low growl came out of my chest and I pulled on his hair making him yelp in pain.

"I'm not overreacting!" I said loudly.
"You are!" He hissed back.
"No, I'm not!" I growled.
"Yes, you are!"
"No! I'm not!"
"Yes-."
"No!" I shot back. "I'm not!"
Ryder opened his mouth to argue back but stopped when we heard a low voice speak from behind us.
"What the hell are you two doing?" The voice asked.
We snapped our heads towards the source of the sound and stopped what we were doing. Mason stood there, staring at us with confusion but with slight anger. I looked around to see no one but us. My eyes widened when I realized the position I was in.
I was on Ryder's back, while he was holding onto my legs that wrapped around his waist. Ryder immediately let go of me and I got off of him and stood on my feet. I looked up at Mason to see him walking towards us. It's been a week since I last saw him. After that night I slept in his room I haven't seen him since then, from what I heard, he was busy with all the meetings he had with other packs. I don't know what he was doing but it had something to do with rogues.
"She started it!" Ryder spoke as he pointed at me. My eyes widened as I looked at him. "She attacked me and I was only defending myself!"
Mason looked between Ryder and me as I glared at Ryder.
"He's lying!" I hissed. "He started it!" I told Mason as I pointed at Ryder.
"Did not!" Ryder argued.
"Did too!"
"Did not!"
"Did too!"
"You started it!" Ryder yelled at me.
"No! You did!" I hissed at him. We started bickering and arguing until Mason's loud voice cut us off.
"Enough!" He growled. We snapped our heads towards him and shut our mouths. Mason didn't look too happy, he looked between us both and stepped closer to us.
"What's going on between you two?" He questioned. I pouted and looked up at him, then pointed at Ryder.
"He stole my bacon and ate it!" I whined, looking down at the ground. I was trying to act all innocent, well...technically I was. But you get my point.
"Liar!" Ryder hissed. I snapped my head over at him and glared at him. I then looked over at Mason and pouted again.
"I'm telling the truth, Mason. He ate my bacon! And I'm hungry!" I whined again. Mason glared at Ryder then walked closer to me then gave me a slight smile.
"It's ok. I'll make you some more." He told me. My eyes widened at what he said and Ryder's mouth hung open.
"You will?" I asked. He nodded his head.
"You said you're hungry, right? I'm going to make myself breakfast so I'll make you some too," he explained. I slowly nodded my head then smiled up at him. We stared into each other's eyes until Ryder let out an awkward cough. Mason snapped his head over to him and his relaxed face hardened.
"You can go now," he told Ryder in a deep voice. Ryder nodded his head in fear and turned away. Before he walked out of the kitchen doors I could've sworn I heard him say something that sounded like, "the Alpha smiling? Now that's a sight I'll never see again."
Mason turned over to me and his eyes lightened up.
"Come," he whispered and walked further into the kitchen. I followed him and he opened the fridge.

"You know how to cook?" I asked him, a little surprised. He glanced over at me and nodded his head.
"Yes, I do. Didn't expect it?" Mason questioned.
"Honestly, no," I told him, truthfully. He looked over at me and a smirk crawled onto his lips.
"Well, I know how to cook lots of things. You'd be surprised if you saw what I could do," Mason chuckled. I raised a brow at him and crossed my arms against my chest.
"Oh really? Then I'd like to see what you can do one day." I said then sat on a chair. His smirk grew.
"Ok, then one of these days I'll invite you to have lunch with me." Mason smiled. I nodded my head.
"Ok, sounds cool."
Mason took out some eggs and some other stuff before started cooking. I placed my chin on my hand as I stared at him. I couldn't stop the smile that crawled onto my lips. Who would know, Mason Wood, one of the strongest Alphas, would know how to cook? This was surprising.
"How did you learn to cook?" I asked him. Mason went stiff, causing me to look up at him in confusion. He slowly turned around to look at me, his eyes dark. After a moment of silence, I knew he wasn't going to answer me. I don't know why he went all stiff but it looked like he didn't want to answer that question. Instead, he placed the eggs and bacon on two plates then placed them on the big table.
"Here. Eat." He said softly. I nodded my head and gave him a grateful smile as he sat in front of me. He started eating quietly and I looked down to my plate. I looked up at him to see him staring intensely at me.
"I didn't mean to ask you something that would bother you," I whispered. His eyes widened and he placed his fork on the table.
"No, you didn't do anything. It's just that...there is some stuff I can not answer." Mason explained. I nodded my head understanding what he meant.
"I understand."
He gave me a soft smile and looked down at my plate.
"Come on, eat." He ordered. I smiled at him and nodded my head, eating breakfast for the second time today.

I was sitting on my bed when Lina came walking in like she owned the place. I raised a brow at her and she gave me a sly smile.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"Well, hello to you too." Lina greeted me. I rolled my eyes at her. "I can't just come here to see my best friend?"
"No, you can. I just thought you came here to tell me something." I shrugged my shoulders.
"Actually, I did," Lina said with an excited tone.
"Ok. What do you want to tell me?" I questioned.
"Well, Ryder's birthday is coming up in a week and I want to plan a surprise party for him." Lina squealed. I nodded my head, smiling at her.
"Oh, ok. But why are you planning it?" I asked.
"Because he took a big part in my birthday party, so I want to repay him. Besides, he's my friend." Lina explained.
"And a bacon stealer..." I muttered. She raised a brow and shot me a confused expression.
"Huh?"
I smiled at her and shook my head.
"Oh, I was just saying how a nice person he is," I said sarcastically. Now don't get me wrong, I don't hate him, he's one of my closest friends...its just that he stole my food, and that is unacceptable! So I need to get revenge, for eating my bacon and for getting me into the mess with Crystal and her possessive mate.
Speaking of Crystal. Crystal and I hung out a bit with her friends. They're really nice and friendly. I saw her here and there and we talked a lot. She was the total opposite of her mate. Her mate is as stiff as a rock. I bumped into him a couple of times and he would growl at me, glare at me and if I said something he'd cuss at me. He really got onto my nerves, I tried being the nice one and the mature one but he wouldn't budge. It was like something was up to his butthole and wouldn't come out.
I looked back at Lina to see her nodding her head, not looking convinced.
"Ok, I don't know what he did to you but do you want to take part in planning the party?" Lina asked. I placed my finger on my lips and thought about it. Would I really want to help plan out a party for a bacon stealer? Hmm...
"Sure, sounds fun," I told her. Lina smiled and clapped her hands in excitement.
"Great!"
"What's great?"
We looked over to see Adam standing by my door, a smile plastered onto his face.
"That's none of your business!" Lina scowled at him. Adam frowned then rolled his eyes. He walked towards us and looked at me with a smile.
"So, today Alpha Mason is giving us a break from training and instead we're playing a game we haven't played for a long time. I came to ask if you would like to play with us?" Adam explained. Lina broke into a huge smile and nodded her head eagerly.
"Yes! We'll come!" Lina said. Adam looked over at her and rolled his eyes.
"I wasn't asking you. I'm asking Tiana," Adam told her. She frowned but stuck her tongue out at him.
"Still. I'm coming whether you like it or not!" She growled at him.
"Whatever," he muttered but then turned his attention over to me.
"So, what do you say? We haven't played this since high school," Adam asked. I nodded my head then smiled.
"Sure, but what's the game?" I asked. He smirked down at me which caused my smile to drop. Oh oh, that smirk is bad news.
"Dodgeball," Adam answered. I frowned and immediately started shaking my head.
"Nope. No way am I playing that ever again. Go with Lina, I'm not playing!" I said, frowning at the memories of that game. Let's just say that dodgeball and I do not make a great match.
"What? Why?" Lina whined.
"It's because she would always get hit with a ball in high school. On her head, her back, her waist, and her butt. She was a target for all balls." Adam chuckled. Lina's eyes widened with amusement and I continued to shake my head.
"I'm not playing!" I said stubbornly. "I freaking hate that game. It's like I'm signing a death wish!"
"Oh, come one, Tiana! Getting hit with a ball doesn't kill you," Lina pointed it.
"Well, it kills me!" I hissed and crossed my arms against my chest. "What if it hits my head? Huh? Then I could get a concussion!" I could be overreacting but I despised that game. And no way in hell was I ever going to play that game ever again.
"So, I'll take it you're not coming?" Adam asked. I shook my head.
"Nope. I'm not."
Adam and Lina looked at each other then slowly, a smirk plastered onto their faces. I looked up at them in confusion as they walked closer to me. My eyes widened when I realized what they were going to do.
"Oh hell no-." I couldn't continue because as soon as those words left my mouth, they grabbed me by my arms and pulled me onto my feet, and out the door.
