《The Chase (Harry Styles)》Chapter 84

Hello readers! Sorry that it has been so long since I have updated. My re-occurring social life has taken a turn for the active, and I have not had the motivation to slow things down to write a chapter in my very poorly written story. Enough with my personal life, and on with the story..

ANGIE'S POINT OF VIEW
CHAPTER 84
I was sat down on a lumpy sofa in some shady part of town in New York. Honestly, I don't think that any of us knew where we were, but I don't think that any of us cared. We were much too tired to have any concern about where we were.
"So Angie, you and your daughter are touring with these four boys?" The interviewer asked. The fact that my presence was more exciting to question rather than the famous boy band sat beside me startled me. I mean why do people care about me? I'm just a normal girl. Okay, maybe I'm not all that normal, but One Direction was a heck of a lot more interesting than dull old Angie.
"Yeah I am. I mean the father of my daughter is needed to be present in the early stages in her life, right?" I managed to laugh at my own joke. The second part of what I said was true, but the beginning was a total lie. Yes, a father is an essential need for a young girl to grow up with, but no, he is not with me. Too funny. Not.
"Yes, about that... I was wondering who exactly is the father of that little angel." She motioned her hand at the ball of joy cuddled up against my chest in a deep sleep.
"I am. I am the father of her." Niall cut in. His voice sent shock waves through my body. His Irish accent claiming to be my daughters father was a lie; a lie I was forced to live with.

"Wow, everyone here was under the impression that Harry and Angie were in a very serious relationship." She more of stated rather than asked.
"Rumors these days." Niall laughed awkwardly.
"So where is Harry?"
We were expecting to get asked this question a lot, so we had rehearsed our response many many times with management.
"Due to a recent family emergency, Harry Styles is not able to attend the second American tour in the year twenty twelve with the band One Direction. He was taken from his home in London to deal with this, and will hopefully be able to emotionally recover and rejoin the band later on. He is not to be found, nor questioned about this because it could jerk a nerve. We wish not to speak of this again." Zayn spoke with confidence.
"He meant to say emotional nerve." Louis chirped in with a hint of laughter behind his serious tone.
"Yes, sorry about that. If you are quoting what we say, please throw that in for the bands sake." Zayn smiled at the interviewer.
"Of course." She noted something on a notepad and then looked at us with a wierd look present on her face.
"Anything else you would like to know?" Niall said.
"Uh yeah. What is the relationship between you and Angie?" She asked Niall.
"He's the father of my daughter."
"We're in love."
Two very different answers that I'm sure I don't need to put a name to the quote.
"Huh?" The lady asked.
All of the boys glared at me, and I broke down. "What he said." I grumbled.
"Interesting."
"We better be on our way..." Louis trailed off.
I quickly stood up from my seat and scurried out of whatever building we were in, and onto the tour bus. The other boys quickly joined me and we all sat around the tiny table that was provided in the bus.

"Sorry about that." I mumbled.
"It's fine love." Niall threw his arm around my shoulder and I instantly felt awkward. I turned by gaze to Louis who looked no more comfortable than I did with Niall's arms presence on me.
"Hey Niall..." Louis trailed off.
"Yes Louis?" Niall flashed him a confident smile and waited for his friend to speak again.
"There are no camera's around so get your arm the fuck off of her. She is in love with one of you best mates and you need to respect that. Don't let your feelings get wrapped up in a media lie." Louis stood up and stormed off of the bus.
Niall's arm slowly moved off of my shoulder as I stood up to chase after Louis. I found him leaning up against one of the tires.
"Fancy a walk?" I asked.
"You scared me!" He stood up and walked over to me with a straight face. A face I wasn't used to seeing. Usually this boy was all smiles.
"Sorry." I let my arms fall to my side and I noted in my mind how weird it felt not to be holding Rosie.
"Let's go." He looped his arm with arm and tugged me away from the bus.
"Louis, can I ask you something?" I broke the silence that had recently been present.
"Anything." He smiled.
"What month are we in?"
Surprisingly this sent Louis into a fit of laughter.
"I have no idea." He said as his laughter subsided.
"How about you and I come up with a date right now, and go by it for the rest of tour?" I suggested.
"Or we could just check on our phone." He offered.
"True... Let's take guesses though!" I laughed.
"I'm going to go with November 8th." Louis stated.
"I say December 1." I said with confidence.
Louis pulled out his phone and stared at the date.
"It's December 17. My god, my birthday, and Christmas are right around the corner!" He laughed.
"Oh Louis..." I trailed off.
"Anyways, you and Niall." He said.
"I love Harry, and I hate living this lie of loving Niall."
"Good to know." He leaned his head on my shoulder and started humming More Than This into my ear.
"Well isn't that song topical!" I laughed.
"For Niall." We both laughed.
"I don't think that I've ever told you this... But Louis, you're the best friend that I've ever had. Thank you so much. I love you."
Louis stopped walking and wrapped his arms around me, "Love you too Angie."
"We need to make friendship bracelets!" I giggled at my own idea.
"OH EM GEE. Girl you and I, tomorrow are going to make some pretty fetch bracelets tomorrow."
"Can we watch mean girls too?" I asked.
"Do fish live in the sea?" He retorted.
"Yeah, but I don't see how that's-"
"Yes, we can watch mean girls."
Clearly Louis Tomlinson is an evening person.

On a side note I would just like to say that I love anybody that is reading this sentence. The fact that someone cares about what I have to say is just about the most rewarding feeling in the world. So thank you so much for allowing me to feel this way. I hope you enjoyed this chapter even though it was kind of blahhh and had absolutely no moral meaning or message to it at all. Now please excuse me while I go scroll through twitter for like 6 hours. K ciao.
