CHAPTER 82
ANGIE'S POINT OF VIEW
"Harry, don't you think I'm a little under dressed for this?" I asked as he started the car.
"We can stop somewhere to buy you some jean shorts if you would like." He said as he pulled out onto the streets.
"OK, and um Harry about the thing with Rosie-"
"Stop." He cut me off.
"Sorry." I mumbled.
"Let's just not talk about that, yeah?" He gripped the steering wheel tighter, and I held Rosie safely in my arms.
Just then I got a text message from Louis.
"This is your chance."
Louis and I ended up having a whole conversation...
"For what?"
"Remember what I was saying the other night about you revolving your entire life around Harry?"
"Yes..."
"Well this is your chance. Let Harry find himself out there on his own, and you can have the time of your life touring with us. Plus, you'll get loads of money so you won't have to rely on Harry. Just do it."
"I don't mind relying on him."
"Isn't it better to have the option to stay or go? Right now you have nothing so your forced to be with him. Let's see if you'll still want to be with him when you have money."
"I'm not a gold digger Lou."
"I know that! All I'm saying is that you should let him go there on his own, and see what it's like to fend for yourself."
"We're at the store." Harry said as the car halted to a stop.
"Here's my card. I'll take Rosie while you go buy something." He reached into his pocket and pulled out his card.
I took it and ran into the store and went straight to the denim section. I found some cute jean short shorts and went to the register. The lady that rung me up was wearing a shirt with Zayn's face on it. Lovely.

She scanned the shorts, and I swiped the card. As I signed Harry's signature, she looked at me with disbelief.
"Is that Harry Styles credit card? As in thee Harry Styles?" She asked.
"Yeah." I mumbled as she put the shorts into a bag.
"Oh my god. Your Angie, aren't you?" She smiled.
"Yeah, I am." I said.
"So why do you have Harry's card?" She asked.
"I don't really have much money." I said.
"But why is Harry paying? Shouldn't Niall pay?" She handed me the bag and I was tempted to run, but I didn't.
"Huh?" I shot her a confused look.
"You had Niall's baby like last month, right?" She asked.
"Yeah, but Harry and I are friends." I guess I just made up my mind about who's kid it was.
"I thought you were dating Harry when you had Niall's kid." She laughed.
"Oh god no. Harry and I haven't dated in a really long time." I lied.
"Oh, well have a nice day." She smiled fakely.
I ran back to the car and jumped in to see Harry reading my text messages.
"Louis is right." He mumbled as he handed me my phone.
"I know." I said as I handed him his card back.
"So this is Niall's kid." He passed Rosie to me with a frown on his face.
"I guess so."
"This breaks my heart, you do realize that?" He asked.
"I love you Harry." I kissed his cheek and then quickly turned my head out the window.
"I love you more." He said as he drove the car towards the direction of his apartment instead of the farm.
"Where are you going?" I asked.
"You and I have to pack."
"Harry I'm sorry." I held Rosie close against my chest and felt the tears brim my eyes.
"This is just a bump in the road." He reassured me.
"You don't deserve this. You deserve somebody who is able to stay with you and-"
"Don't even say that Angie. I love you." He cut me off.
"I wish you didn't... I feel so guilty. I'm ruining your life." I let the tears fall down my cheek.
"Love is complicated." He grumbled back.

Meek
After failing as an apprentice cooper and a town guard, Eli finds his place at the Rockbridge archives. Sure, he's the oldest 'junior scribe,' but he likes the job. And he's good at it, too. Then he completes an apparently-insignificant project, and the brutal reaction shocks him--with consequences that eventually shake the world. Eli gains powers. Rare and inhuman abilities. He progresses slowly, steadily, and not without setbacks. He changes, too. Is he a hero, a villain, a human, a monster? Depends who you ask. Meek is an epic fantasy with elements of progression. The basic magic is simple: five Paths, each with a different powerset. However, complexity arises from combinations, and the protagonist wields a magic all his own. Meek is set in the Valley, the only (as far as anyone knows) human empire that survived a Final Battle against a terrible foe. The Valley is warded against infiltration, but the enemy learned how to warp human souls, to foment discord within. However, another soul is also ... changed. Perhaps even 'warped.' And that soul is starting on a long (long, long) path that might, one day, prove that the Final Battle wasn't so final after all.
