CHAPTER 66
HARRY'S POV
Me and her. We sat in the front seat of my range rover, zooming down the busy streets of London. I had one hand on the steering wheel and the other was intertwined with my girls hand. We had the windows down, and both allowed the wind to whip through our hair, like we just don't care. But that's the thing. Right there in that moment, sitting next to the girl I love, I had no cares in the world. I felt the engagement ring rattle around in my pocket as my foot moved on and off the gas pedal. I couldn't wait to get down on one knee and ask her to be mine forever.
Her favorite song came on the radio and she laughed that laugh of hers that sent shivers down my spine. It was so beautiful that it hurt. I took my eyes off of the road for a few seconds to take in her trademark smile. Her face was glowing, and all of her teeth showed. I wished that she could stay that happy forever. I wished that I could be the guy to make her that happy.
As cheesy as it may sound, I got lost in her eyes. The mesmerizing blue green shade of her orbs left my eyes fixated on hers for a minute to long. I had missed the red light that I should've stopped at, and drove straight through a busy intersection. The scream of fear that she let escape from her mouth was something I knew I would never forget.
My car had been hit by a huge truck. We did a flip in the air, and the car thankfully landed upright. However, the force that brought us down, was unbearable. I felt my leg tense up and the pain shot through my body. I stumbled with the door as I tried to get out of the car. But that's when it hit me, why was I alive? Shouldn't I be dead right now?

As soon as my feet hit the ground, I spiraled to the ground. My leg couldn't support my weight, and my head was spinning. I touched my hand to my forehead and when I pulled my hand away, it was dripping with blood. After a few minutes of laying on the road, I was lifted onto a stretcher and into an ambulance. The bright lights scared me, along with all of the people surrounding me
"Where is she?" I manage to choke out.
"In the ambulance ahead of us." A man answered me.
"Is she alright?" I asked, not really wanting to hear the answer.
"Not as well as you sir." he mumbled back.
"She'll be okay though, right?" I asked and I could hear th fear in my own voice.
"We don't know yet..." he trailed off.
I felt like someone had just thrown a bag of bricks at me. Why couldn't I take her pain? She meant everything to me, and I knew it would be impossible to live without her. I mean can you imagine Harry without Angie? She was a part of me, that I couldn't bear to lose.
