CHAPTER 41
LOUIS'S POV
"Harry what time do we have to pick Angie up?" I asked.
"Louis I can't stop thinking about her!!" Harry screamed.
"Well Harry that's not a time of day, so my question remains unanswered." I said smirking.
"3:00 pm." He mumbled.
"Harry we've got to do something to take your mind off of Angie. Give me your phone." I insisted.
He handed his phone over to me, and the second I got it, he received a text from her. I decided not to tell him, or else he would freak out. Man I don't think this boy could go a day without seeing her. Angie is so perfect and wonderful, I am so glad I get to be close with her. Sometimes, I wish that I could be the one to date her. But I could never say that because Harry is my friend, and it would hurt him. But this is tearing me up inside!!
"Lou?" Harry asked.
"Yes?" I answered quickly.
"What are you thinking about?"
Yeah, like I was going to tell Harry that I loved his girlfriend. Wait, did I just say love? Oh my, maybe I do love Angie. This is awful!! "Nothing." I said suspiciously.
"Okay...So what do you want to do today?"
"Lets go out." I suggested.
"Just me and you though, okay?" Harry answered.
I nodded my head and led the way out the door. I thought of where to go, and what to do, but I couldn't concentrate on one thought. All I could think about was Angie. "Where to?" I asked hoping Harry had an idea.
"Shopping!" He said laughing.
"Alright, lets go to France!" I said excitedly.
"Really?" He looked happy.
"Lets get a jet, and get Paul because today Harry, you and I are going to have some fun." I winked.

"Tonight we're going hard, just like the world is ours!" He yelled back.
"We're tearing it apart, you knew we're superstars!" I sang to him.
"We are who we are!" We hollered in unison.
And that's how Harry and I attracted the attention of about 50 screaming girls. We stood in the middle of the street kind of panicking while the all charged at us. Maybe now would be a good time to call Paul. I was about to take off sprinting when I remembered Harry wasn't in any position to be running with his twisted ankle. So he jumped on my back and we ran. But me running with a Harry on my back wasn't faster then this one girl. She caught up with us very quickly, and to my surprise she didn't freak out.
"Follow me!" She yelled as she ran ahead of us.
I was in no position not to follow her, considering my other option was to be trampled. Thankfully we had a good enough lead on the fans that we were able to safely make it to a tall apartment building and into an elevator. I set Harry down and felt my heart racing.
"I'm Harry!" Harry yelled.
"Louis." I said quite out of breath.
"No kidding." She said laughing slightly.
When the elevator door opened we made our way into an apartment. I assumed that it was hers considering that she had a key to it.
"So who are you?" I asked plopping myself onto her sofa and trying to catch my breath.
"Haley." She smiled.
Haley was quite beautiful. She had long black silky wavy hair, and stunning blue eyes. She wore denim short shorts and a pink sweater. She made me forget about Angie for a minute which was a new record. But she also reminded me of Mary. Weird, I hadn't thought about Mary until now.

"So how are you love?" I asked smiling.
"Well, and yourself?" She was very polite.
"Not good. Harry and I wanted to go to France, but then you know, we ended up here."
"I see... Well I know this may seem a little forward, but there are tons of rumors going around about this girl Angie. Could you clear them up for me?" She asked.
"She's my girlfriend that I love very much!" Harry gushed.
"Yep, and my best friend." I grinned.
"Does this mean you're single Louis?" She asked staring into my eyes.
"For the time being, I believe so."
She laughed her beautiful laugh, and then I noticed that her cheeks turned red. I wonder how old she is. Maybe I could date her. No! I couldn't date her while I was in love with Angie. It wouldn't be fair to me or Haley.
"Here's my number." She said as she began writting something on a napkin.
"I can't take that." I said bluntly.
"I'm sorry?" She looked confused.
"Dude!" Harry hit me gently.
"I'm in love with another girl, and I don't think it's wise for me to lead you on, or to be friends with a girl that is so attractive that I have no intentions of being with." I said looking down.
She dropped her pen and then said, "But you're friends with Angie, and she's beautiful. I bet you don't have intentions on being with her. So why can't we be friends like you're friends with her?"
"I'm sorry." Was all I could say.
"Please leave." She said standing up.
I quickly got up and walked out the door with Harry right behind me. I walked down the hall and got into the elevator pressing the "First Floor" button. The doors closed behind Harry and I, and we began our way down the elevator shaft. But suddenly we stopped moving. Perfect, the elevator was stuck.
"Louis, is it just me, or are we stuck?" Harry sounded nervous.
"We're stuck." I said slumping down onto my bum.
"So Lou, tell me about the girl you love." Harry said sitting next to me.
"I don't love anyone, I just said that so I didn't have to take her number." I lied.
"Okay, whatever you say." Harry nudged me.
"Here's your phone." I said handing it to him.
He took his phone and I saw him typing away. Since there was an awkward silence, I decided I would text someone to. The only person I could think of was Angie. But I couldn't text her while she was texting Harry. Why is my life so complicated?
I decided to call 911 because I guess this is an emerency.
"Hello this is 911, what's your emergency?"
"Hi I am stuck in an elevator with my friend." I said.
"Where are you, and what's your name?" He asked.
"I'm in an apartment building that I don't know the name of. And my name is Louis Tomlinson, and I am here with Harry Styles." I said now feeling a little nervous that I didn't know where we are.
"Kid this line is for emergencys only, not pranks." Then he hung up.
"Harry the police don't believe me! What do we do?"
"We wait." He said.
So Harry and I leaned our heads back and sat in silence. Neither of us were on our phones, and neither one of us was talking. We just sat inches apart staring at the wall in silence. It wasn't an awkward silence though.
It was comforting.
