CHAPTER 27
ANGIES POV
“Niall, I wish that Harry didn’t find out about me doing the Olympics.”
“I think that it’s for the best.” He said smiling.
“Now he’s upset though. How can I show him that I don’t care?” I asked.
“Send him a text?” Niall suggested.
I nodded my head and then pulled out my Iphone.
“Harry, don’t be upset, you didn’t know. I still love you! :) xx Angie”
I set my phone down and within 10 seconds I had a new message from Harry.
“I feel so guilty Angie. I can’t get over it. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Harry”
I quickly responded,
“You’ll make me happy if you just move on. I didn’t tell you about it in the first place because I didn’t want you to feel this way…. Xx Angie.
This time the response took longer.
“If you had told me about it 3 years ago, I never would have left you. I really did love you Angie XXxxXXxXx Styles”
The response to this text was easy.
“But then you never would have been in one direction!!! Xx Angie”
I hadn’t even had to set my phone down before he responded.
“But I would have had you. And to have you as a girlfriend would be wayyyyy better than being in this band. I regret it. XXXXXXXXXXXXX Harry”
I quickly said,
“Don’t you ever say that. Xx Angie”
Then he said,
“The truth? XXxxXXxxXxxxxXX Harry”
I closed out of the message without responding.
“So… What happened?” Niall asked.
I handed him my phone and watched him read the messages. I could tell that he was feeling a little jealous, so I said “He feels so guilty that he’s trying to fall in love with me again to make up for it.”
Then a worried Niall said, “Angie don’t let him fall for you, you’re the reason I smile every day. Without you my world would be awful, I need you. Please stay with me, don’t believe what he says, he will only hurt you.”

To be honest, I was a little surprised at this. “Insecure much?” I asked.
“I just can’t lose you, especially not to Harry.”
I felt a little hurt by this. I saw what Niall was saying, but he made it seem like I was a prize. “I need to go.” I said firmly.
I started walking upstairs and picking up my things to pack. I opened my suitcase and soon enough it was filled. I dialed my Moms number and waited for her to answer.
“Angie darling! I haven’t heard from you in so long. How are you?” My mother’s kind words soothed me.
“I am coming home for awhile, is that okay?” I asked.
“I would be delighted.” She said and I could tell that she meant it.
“See you in about 20 minutes.” I said, and then hung up.
“Angie I am sorry. Please don’t leave.” Niall said with tears in his eyes.
“It’s just for a few days, I really miss her.” I said.
“Okay, I love you Angie.” He spoke through tears.
I nodded my head and walked out the door. I then realized that I didn’t have a ride. I texted Harry hoping he could drive me.
“Can you do me a favor? Xx Angie”
He responded within seconds.
“Of course, anything for you. What do you need? :) XXX Styles.
“Come outside the building; bring your car keys. Xx Angie.”
A few minutes later I saw Harry appear.
“Where are we going my love?” He asked.
“Back to my house.” He gave me a confused look, and so I said, “I’ll explain on our way.”
He nodded his head and opened the passenger’s seat for me. I climbed in and turned on the radio.

“So…Why are you leaving?” He asked.
“I just miss her…. A lot.” I said.
“Should Matt go with you?” He asked.
“No…she doesn’t know that he’s home yet.” I answered.
“Why don’t you tell her?” He asked.
“She won’t approve of the whole assassin thing.” I said.
“Understandable.” He said laughing.
The rest of the car ride we sat in silence just listening to the radio. I thought of all the times I had been with Harry and it amazed me how much he knew about me. “Do believe in soul mates?” I asked randomly.
“I did until I came across you.” He said softly.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” I asked.
“3 years ago, I thought you were my soul mate. But then I messed it up, so I know that you can’t be with me. But the thing is, I still think you’re my soul mate, it’s just I screwed it up so badly that you don’t want to be with me anymore.”
“I think you’re my soul mate too.” I said quietly.
“It’s too complicated.” He said.
“Does this mean that we die alone?” I asked.
“Unless were with each other, I guess so.” He said staring directly into my eyes.
“That’s why I wouldn’t want to meet my soul mate when I was young, because I would mess it up.” I said.
“If you and I just met today, what do you think would happen?” He asked as we pulled up to my house.
“We’d be in love.” I said stepping out of the car and running into my house.

When tragedy strikes back in Wyoming, Reagan is forced to move back to the town she swore she would never step boot in again, thus leaving her new life in Montana behind. Through God, can Reagan find a way to forgive the people who hurt her, or will she forever consider Alpine Ridge "Heartbreak Town?"
