CHAPTER 8
HARRYS POV
Just as Angie was running onto the bus, I asked her "Uhh Angie...Can I talk to you for a minute?"
But before she could awnser for herself, Niall stepped in "Haven't you already done enough?"
"I just want to apologize." I fired back.
"Why don't you do it in front of all of us, where there are witnesses." Niall said cheekly.
Then Angie spoke above us all "Sure Harry. Lets go to one of the bedrooms."
The look on Nialls face was absolutely amazing. He looked so shocked and embrassed. And, since Angie was going against what Niall said, maybe she was mad at him, and did want to talk to me. Or maybe now Niall is mad at her for talking to me. I just hope they will get in a fight!
"So what do you have to say?" Angie asked.
I realized that I was trapped in my thoughts and had just been sitting there in silence. "When I hit you last night, it was rude and uncalled for. It had nothing to do with the truth or dare, I just got mad."
"But why were you mad Harry?" She asked.
"Because one of my best friends announced he was dating my girlfriend on a live interview and my girlfriend didn't deny it." I said, hoping she wouldn't catch on that I actually liked her.
"Come on Harry! You came back to my house to use me. You only wanted me to date you for pretend. Then Niall came in, and started being all sweet to me, and he made me understand things again. He and I just clicked. And for you to say that you got mad enough to slap me because I'm dating someone else, is so selfish. You didn't want me for real, you were just using me!"

Angie looked mad. And it honestly hurt me how far off she was. I mean true I was using her at the start, but then I realized that I do like her and after seeing her with Niall kissing that one night at the hotel, I liked her for real. I just didn't realize until yesterday.
Angie interrupted my thoughts by saying "See, I was so right, and you don't even have the respect to respond and say so. Goodbye Harry." She stood up, and walked out.
I stayed in the room, alone with the door locked. And then, the srangest thing happened. A tear fell from my eye, and following that tear, was a whole stream of them. I was thankful I cry silently and that the door was locked. But the thing is, I didn't know why I was crying.
But before I could come to a conclusion of why I was crying, there was a knock at the door. My heart sped up and many thoughts jumped into my head. My thoughts were again interupted, but this time by the knock on the dorr getting louder.
I cleared my throat and spoke really deeply "Uhh Hello?"
"Harry it's Louis, open up."
"I umm I'm naked, no can do." I lied. But there was no way Louis was going to see me cry. He would just ask a bunch of questions.
"Oh okay lad."
A few minutes later after I had calmed myself down, I noticed that there was a note that was slipped under the door.
It read... "Harry, if you think that I can't tell when you're crying, you're wrong. Angie didn't say anything about what happened, but I can tell that you let her win the discussion. I bet that you didn't confess your true feelings, and let her think that you were using her. Open the door if I was right, and we can talk. If I'm wrong, well still open the door. Harry you need a friend and I'm here for you."

I read the note a few times before I decided what I was going to do. My plan was to slip the note back out there, because I know Louis is standing there waiting for me to open the door and then stay in here the rest of the way to Paris and then claim I was sick and was sleeping all the way there.
With that, I slid the note under the door. Seconds later, I heard Louis's voice.
"Wrong move Harry, wrong move."

Making a difference
Harry Potter FanFiction: Hannah Longbottom liked to watch the people who entered the Wizarding World via the small, walled courtyard behind the Leaky Cauldron for a reason: During her not so long life, she had learned about three different boys who had entered the Wizarding World alone, leaving behind a life so horrible she could barely imagine. One of them, who became a friend of hers, had gone through great hardships to become a hero, one of the greatest wizards the Wizarding World had ever seen. One of them, who had been her teacher, had become cold and bitter, and no one had ever recognized what amazing talents he could have offered, until it had been too late. One of them, the monster she had helped to fight during the Battle of Hogwarts, had become the most dreaded, most dangerous, and most deadly man Great Britain had ever seen, and yet it could have all been different, if someone had just tried to make that difference early enough in that life, if he had not boarded the train to Hogwarts all alone. Already posted at Devianart and AO3, I've included a link to RoyalRoad on my profiles there.
