《The Three WolfMates》Chapter 41 - History

Liam POV
"The elders would like to meet you and your mom after school if that's possible," Darrian whispered since we weren't allowed to talk.
"We would have to run it by her when class is over," I told him.
"Okay"
"Why though?" I asked.
"They would like to welcome the remaining members from The House of Vineyard." He replied.
We halted our conversation and continued the quiz that was given. This was a chance for the others to earn extra marks to help with their end-of-the-semester grades. Since I joined the class so late in the semester I wouldn't be having a grade for this subject. Mom said it would be great to take the quiz to see what I understand so far.
"Mom, Darrian told me that the elders from his clan would like to meet us after school if it's possible." I indicated to her while I gave her my quiz after the bell rang.
"Sure just get the address and we can go when you come home from practice." She assured me as she piled up everyone's papers together.
"Okay see you later Mom," I let out when I was stepping out of the class.
"We will be there. Send me the address when you get home." I ensured Darrian walking up to him.
We exchanged numbers while strolling to our next class. We said goodbye when I took a different direction toward my class. I went over to the seat between Mya and Aaron with Onika beside him. Mrs. Drew roamed in right after me so we didn't have much time to talk.
She informed us that we will be having a test tomorrow on everything from this semester. So today is going to be revision for that. I listened attentively since I wasn't here for the first half of the term.
"Make sure all of you come ready for anything tomorrow. Everything should go well once you're prepared. Everyone can leave once the bell rings." Mrs. Drew disclosed.
I and the others chatted for a while until then. We all said our goodbyes and headed to our classes. Aaron and I strolled to English. He went to his seat and was confused when I sat down next to him.
"Are the triplet not coming to school?" Aaron questioned.
"Can't I just want to sit beside my friend for once in this class" I smiled
"Yeah right" He mumbled side-eyeing me.
"They went on a trip. I have more information to tell you guys at lunch."
Nathan and his brothers were supposed to be back by today but have been running into a few hiccups along the way to finding The City of Athen. They informed me via face time that The Lightening Sword of Zeus and The Trident of Poseidon was found though. Dethan told me they should be back before Wednesday.
I went over to my seat as Ms. Lovell came into the class. We were supposed to have our final test today but since so many others were out she postponed it until Thursday. Before we knew it; it was time for lunch. Aaron and I walked to the Cafeteria and then took a seat as we waited for the others to get here.

"Y'all are here early," Vic said to us as she, Tanya, Mya, and Levi sat down at the table.
"Yea we didn't have anything to do in class today," Aaron responded.
"Hey, Tanya do you know a spell that can block the others from hearing us like a barrier or something? I have something to tell you all and I don't feel like going outside." I queried.
"Sure, I can do that in my sleep. When the Kasper and Onika get here I'll do it," she replied.
A few minutes later they showed up and Tanya did the spell. After that, I told them everything that had been going on for the past week. From the goblin stalking me & the information he gave us, the incident between Ethan & me and why the triplet isn't here.
"I don't know how this Alex dude looks but when I see him he's gonna get it." Aaron let out after I was finished.
"Right," Kasper said agreeing with Aaron.
"So how long are you going to ignore your sweet and loving mate Ethan," Mya acknowledged with a smirk. Here she goes.
"Until he apologized I don't know who he is," I confessed with a poker face.
"Remind me to never get you angry" Levi declared as everyone else laughed.
When we were finished Tanya took down the sound barrier and then we continued to eat out lunch. I saw Darrian sitting at a table on his own. I told to him sit with us and I introduce him to my friends.
"Why were you over there sitting by yourself?" I asked him.
"No one wants to hang out with the Dragon nerd I guess." He chuckled.
"You can sit with us from now on if you want," Mya advised him.
The bell was about to ring so we all said our goodbyes and proceed to our classes. Mya, Vic, and I strolled to Werewolf Nostalgia.
The school day went by pretty quickly. I finished my Vampire Studies exam and now I'm heading towards the locker room to change for track practice.
When we all got on the track coach told us the events we will be partaking in. I was placed in the 400m and 4×400m relay events. After that practice went as normal.
I got home a few minutes after track was over. I told my mom I was going to take a shower and get ready. When I was done I came back downstairs to find my dad kissing on my mom's neck.
"Ewww there are kids in this house," I muttered to both of them.
"Y'all are grown adults." Dad let out. These old people are losing their minds.
"You ready Mom?"
"Yess, let's go."
We said bye to dad, left the house and hopped in mom's car. From the address Darrian gave me it seems the location was at least 30-45 minutes away.
The Dragon Realm was in the mountains which were North East of the Werewolf Territory. We continued our drive and then came up to Golden Gates. Seems like the Dragons live in a gated community. It's understandable since our kind is so rare.

While we were driving through we saw a lot of kids running around freely with their parents close by. When the car passed everyone stopped to look at the suspicious car. We proceeded up to this big building. It seems like it was built hundreds of years ago. In front of the building were Darrian and 7 other people. My mom & I got out of the car and walked over to the others.
"Hey, Welcome to our humble home. I'm Greg Dillion and this is my wife Cheryl Hale-Dillon; we're Darrian's parents. Over there is Harold Albertine, Genesis Wight, Jennifer Godfrey, Arthur Lyon, and Connor Vaisey. They are the elders of each of their houses along with me and my wife." Greg announced to us while pointing to each person he called. My mom and I introduced ourselves and then we shake everyone's hand.
"Please come inside so we continue our conversion."
All of us followed Greg as he strolled into the building. The ancient look on the outside continued its way to the inside. It was much more elegant and formal on the inside.
Each one of the elders made their way over to a seat around the room while my mom, Darrian, and I stood by the door. There was one vacant seat remaining. Was there someone missing?
"We know you both may be confused so I will start from the beginning. First off, welcome to The Throne room. This building was created by the 8 houses of the Legendary Dragon families. The House of Dillon, The House of Albertine, The House of Godfrey, The House of Lyon, The House of Wight, The House of Vaisey, The House of Hale, and The House of Vineyard." Connor announced.
"They made this building and swore that every major problem that had to be dealt with or every decision made which would impact the dragons of this community have to be considered among each house. They made sure that no one house would have the power to rule or take over this land. And over the years that declaration has kept us safe and secure." Cheryl reflected.
"Elijah, weren't you the first dragon from the House of Vineyard?" I asked him in my mind.
"Yes I am, and I'm grateful our laws are still be upheld even thousands of years later." Elijah proudly expressed.
"Now to the real reason we asked for you both to meet us. As we said before your family was a part of this joint committee and as you can see one slot is missing currently. That spot was meant for you, Hannah." Jennifer declared to my mom. You can see the surprised look on her face.
"But how?? I'm not even from here" She asserted confused.
"Yes, you are. Your mom never told you?" Greg and all the others now had shocked looks on their faces.
"No? Told me what?"
"That you're a part of one of the most legendary dragon families in the world, The House of Vineyard," Greg exclaimed.
"My mom was a very secretive person. I knew about my family tree but every time I tried to ask more she would just shut me down." Mom informed everyone. She was right grandma loved us dearly but anytime any of us had questions she would change the topic or tell us to drop it.
"Your Grandmother was the last person to sit in that chair because your mom left the clan 45 years ago. At that time she had found her mate, a young angel who lived in the city not too far away from here; your dad. Your grandmother pleaded with her not to leave but all your mother wanted was her mate & a family and staying here was going to prevent that. So your mom & dad moved away from this state and that was the last time I saw her. Anyways where are my manners, I'm Grace Dillon Greg's mother." An old lady implied walking through another door on the right side of the room.
"She was best friends with your mom from the time they were kids," Greg told us.
"You have her eyes," Grace whispered to my mom walking up towards her.
"Back to the task at hand. I know this is a lot to take in but all of us would love it if you would fill the slot and represent for The House of Vineyard. We don't expect an answer right but please think about it." Greg pleaded with my Mom.
"I will think about it surely. How did y'all know who I was and which family I was a part of?" She reassured them.
"A few months ago when you and your family arrive one of our magical artifacts became active again. We didn't know why exactly but when Darrian and the others came home last week they told us they had a new Dragon Mystical teacher we just place the pieces together." Genesis indicated.
"Do you feel that Liam?" Sky blurted out.
"Yess, I thought it was just the feeling from hearing about the story but it's something else. Do you think it's another vessel?" I notified him. It was like the same feeling I had with the Excalibur but this one is not quite as strong.
"I'm not sure but it's best if we find out" Sky instructed.
"Sorry to intrude but where is this magical artifact? If you don't mind me asking of course." I declared to the others.
"It's right over here" Harold said walking over to a cabinet not too far from him. He pulled out the item.
"That's the Elemental Ring Liam"

Another vessel has been found just one more left. It's about to get real from here on.

"I looked over at my usually gallant father, who had dried tears streaking his face. I felt awful, not because I was in pain, but because I made my father heartbroken. I never wanted him to feel this pain." Or, Peter's battle with a terminal illness that will destroy so much more than himself. This was a school project, so I had to cut some real MCU things out, but other then that the names stay the same. 06/20/2022 AN: Hey guys. This story is five years old at this point. That's pretty crazy. While I have moved on to other fandoms in that time, it's great to see people interacting with this. I'm not sure how well it holds up, especially with Creep by Radiohead being in it (idk what I was thinking lmfaoo), but I'm glad to see that some people still enjoy it. Have a good one. :)
