Liam POV

It's been 3 days since this person has been following me. I think they believe I haven't noticed they were. But I have been planning a way to catch them.

Since the day we were attacked the Alpha has told the pack to stay on high alert. One of the three warriors who were attacked survived the incident and told us some details about the man. He was tall and slim with long black hair. The man who has been following me fits that exact description.

I got Tanya to help me by making sleeping dust so that when I get close to him I can knock him out.

School was over for the day and so was track practice but the coach had something to tell us so we were just waiting on him. He told us we have a track meet next week in the state over. He gave us all permission slips for our parents to sign and be brought back before Thursday next week. As he was finishing up the guy that's been following me was in the same spot as before.

Now for my plan to fall into place. I clone myself to make it seem like I'm still there with the others. I use my vamp speed to get around the school so the person couldn't see me coming. I sneak up behind.

"Peekaboo," I said.

He turned around and was about to hit me but I blew the sleeping dust in his face and he was out like a light. I inspected him and he fit the description the warrior gave but he look much more sickly. I search his pockets and I found his phone. I called Dethan and told him to meet me here and bring his brothers. After a few minutes, they all showed up. They all look at the man on the floor.

"Who's this?" Nathan asked as they all look at me for my answer.

"It's the guy that attacked the warriors at North point. Look closely."

"You're right but how did you find him? We have been looking for days" Dethan questioned.

"He has been following me since Monday. At first, I thought it was just someone walking in the woods but then he continued to show up. So I made a plan to catch him and it worked." I explained to them.

"Why didn't you tell us? He could've hurt you, Liam." Ethan muttered looking at me.

"If I told y'all the plan wouldn't have gone the leave it was supposed to. Y'all would've made your father put men on heavy patrol and he would've gone into hiding. And I'm not twelve Ethan. I can take care of myself." I expressed.

"And what if you couldn't huh? What then?" Ethan furiously added as he grabbed my hand tightly.

"Let go of my hand." Now I was getting upset.

"Ethan he said let go what the hell is wrong with you," Nathan said to his brother.

His hold began to tighten around my arm and it was hurting badly. I punch him in his jaw and that's when he finally lets go. The hand he was holding me with is now the hand he has holding his mouth. I looked over to Dethan and Nathan; they both had surprised looks on their faces seem like they weren't expecting that.

"I HATE YOU ETHAN" I shouted to his face.

I marched over to the locker room to get my stuff then hopped in my car and was on my way home. They can deal with the guy on their own.

I got inside and headed straight for my room.

"Hey hun, how was practice?" Mom asked as I was about to go up the stairs.

"It was fine Mom. We got a track meet next week" I informed her.

"Where am i- what happened to your arm?" She questioned when she saw the mark on my arm.

"It's nothing just a little bruise from practice," I told her.

"That needs an ice pack. Come on."

I drop my bag beside the staircase and followed her into the kitchen. She got the ice pack from the freezer as I seat down at the counter. I place it on the bruise and we continued to talk about the track meet.

"So are you going to tell me how you got that now" she indicated.

I told her the whole story about the strange man, my plan to catch him and the situation after.

"They're your mates they will worry about your safety the same way you will worry about theirs. Next time trust them enough to share any information you have and it's up to them to show you how much trust they have in you." She announced

"I wanted to show them that I don't have to depend on them each time because they're three alphas," I stated to her. Like I don't need protection all of the time. I'm a tri-brid for crying out loud.

"I know it feels good to do things on your sweetheart but y'all are a team now and all of you need to know that and come to terms with it" Mom reassured me as she got up and went to the laundry room.

She's right but they need to give me the room to make my own mistakes cause if they don't how am I going to learn to better myself and not make the same mistakes again.

I put back the ice pack in the freezer and headed upstairs to take a shower. While I'm in the shower I hear my phone ping. Must be a message. I got dressed and then picked up the phone to read the message.

Dethan💙: The guy said he's not going to speak until you're here. We need your help. You can come to the prison cells we're here.

That was almost 10 minutes ago. I walked down to the kitchen to grab something to eat before I head over there. Seems like it's still me and my mom who was here. Emila and Sam should be home any minute and Dwayne must be with the others down in the cells. I finished up what I was eating when the doorbell rang. Mom said she got it as she walked to the door.

"Is Liam here?" Dethan asked my Mom.

"Yes, he is. Liam, Dethan's at the door" she shouted then went back to what she was doing. I walked over to the door.

"I was about to come over there," I told him.

"Oh okay, I was worried. You didn't reply to the message."

"I was in the shower. Mom, I'm leaving" I announced as I close the door.

We continued our walk to the cells in silence side by side.

"So are we going to talk about it?"

"No Dethan I'm good."

"He did that didn't he?" He pointed at the mark on my mark.

"Yes"

"Well, you got him back because his mouth was bleeding and it's swollen right now. I always wanted someone to do that to him" Dethan smirked as he picked me up and spin us around.

"My babe got hands and no one can mess with him" He added on and kissed me.

He knows how to make me feel better. I could be having the worst day of my life and he will always find a way to lift my spirit. I don't know what I would do without him.

We finally got to the cells. The Alpha, my dad, Dwayne, Nathan, the warrior that was injured, and Ethan with an ice pack to his jaw were all there along with the intruder who was growing closer to death with each minute.

"He was injected with slow poison days ago and he does have much time," Anthony informed me.

"What do you want with me and how do you know my name," I questioned the man. He sat up and looked at me.

"I was sent here to spy on you, report everything I saw to the King and I will finally have my peace." The man answered.

"What does this King want with my son?" My dad asked.

"He wants to finish what he started years ago. To put an end to Sky." He smirked looking at me.

"He's a goblin Liam a creature of the underworld. Our secret must've got out." Sky pointed out. But how?

"That still doesn't answer the other question how do you know my name," I replied

"You once knew one of the Princes before you came here" He responded while smiling at the triplet.

"I don't know any creatures from the underworld" now I was confused as hell.

"You did you just didn't know he was one at the time. The love child of King Orobas and Vanessa Hughes. Prince Alex." He spoke as the foam began to come from his mouth. When he said that name I froze. Why can't I ever escape him? Why can't he just leave me alone? I HATE YOU ALEX.

Moments later the man was on the floor lifeless.

"Who the hell is Alex??" Nathan asked after a while. I looked at my dad & Anthony and they both nodded. I guess it's the right time to tell them.

"I think it's time I told y'all why we moved here," I said looking at all three of them.
