Ethan POV

It's been one week since I bumped into Liam and realize he was my mate. A week of doubts and 'this can't be real' moments. A week of my mind running wild with thoughts of what to do. I have been trying to avoid any physical contact with him. When he's around I try my hardest not to give into the mate bond but it's becoming harder since we have 2 classes together each day.

When I found out yesterday that Nathan let Liam fall down I had to calm myself down before I did anything rational. I had to get my feelings in check because I had to keep Dethan away from Nathan before he got his head off. Dethan was so angry my dad sent him home to take a walk and calm down. I have never seen Dethan get so out of control before he has always been the one who keeps his anger and emotions under control. In that moment is when I realized that Dehan has a crush on Liam and telling him Liam is my mate is gonna truly upset him.

I need to talk to my dad right now I can't hold it together for much longer. So I walked downstairs, went to his office and knocked. After a while I got a come in.

"Hey son, you look a mess what's wrong?" Must be the bags under my eyes because I have been up since 5.

"Dad I need to tell you something" I said after taking a seat in the chair in front of his desk. He nod his head to tell me go on.

"I found my mate"

"That's great news when did you find out? " he happily asked

"Last week"

"Why didn't you tell us?" Now here comes the confused face

"Because the person doesn't know I'm their mate and I have been confused on why it's this person"

"I realize you haven't said she or her so I guess it's a guy" I shake my head yes

"I don't really see the problem Ethan"

"Because my mate is a guy and I'm straight dad" he replied with a matter of fact tone

"And? The Moon Goddess sends us a mate that completes us. Someone who makes us whole. So who cares if your mate is a guy the only thing that matters is finding your soulmate and loving them unconditionally." He's right

"Is this why you haven't tell anyone as yet? "

"Yes" I answered

"You should tell your brothers don't keep secrets from each other don't break the trust y'all have." He told me as I got up to leave

"But what to do with my mate he isn't 18 yet" I turned around and asked him

"Talk to him, be nice to him, get to know him so when he does turn 18 he will already know you care about him."

"Thanks dad and by the way it's Anderson's son Liam." He gasped and I left the office.

It's time to get ready for school although I have been up for in the past 2 hours. I went upstairs, showered, put on clothes and was back downstairs for breakfast. The tension between Dethan and Nathan seems to be coming down. We were all finished and headed for the front door.

"Have a good day my boys" my mom shouted

I got to school went to my first 2 classes fine until I was walking down the hallway to Maths and smell the Cherry Blossom it's so intoxicating. I walked over into my classroom and took my seat. After a while the scent continued to become strong that means he's coming this I need to brace myself. In walks him and his friends laughing at some joke he said.

The bell rings so he walks away from them to the his seat next to me. Percy becomes happy that his mate is right beside him and I am.

"Good Morning class I have a quiz for everyone to do today. Try to do it on your own but if you're stuck ask the person next to you no one else." Mr Johnson vocalized as he moved around the class sharing out papers.

"When you get your paper you can begin" he added

I got my paper read the questions and started to write my answers. I was going through it with ease and when I looked at Liam's he seemed to be getting through too. He's really smart but sometimes too smart for his own good.

"That's wrong" he said knocking me back to reality.

"Which one?" I asked

"This one" he lean over to me and pointed at number 11. As he leans back his hand mistake and grazed against mine then the sparks came after. Damnn this mate bond is doing something to me. These feelings are come at full speed I need to find a distraction.

"Thanks" I smirked at him

The bell rings for lunch and I was the first to leave. I have never been so eager to leave a room. The next few weeks are really gonna be a struggle.

I got to the cafeteria ordered my lunch and went outside on the benches to eat my lunch. After a while my brothers joined me.

"Why are we out here?" Nathan questioned

"I have something to tell y'all" I responded

"What is it?" Dethan asked with a confused face.

"I found my mate"

"Congrats bro who is it?" Nathan spoke

"See that's the thing. It's Liam" I declared and both of them were looking at me like I'm crazy

"But how" Nathan mumbled under his breath

"Are you sure?" Dethan muttered. Why are they both acting so weird

"Yess I'm sure what's wrong with you guys? " I asked confused

"He's my mate too" Dethan confessed

"And mine" Nathan added on

"So we all have the same mate" I voiced after everyone went silent

But how, we need to talk to Dad as soon as we get home cause this is confusing as hell.
