Tyler stood in the door way looking at me. “Are you positive you can't come?”

“I am not going to college just to get sick, it’s probably just a bug I caught it’ll be gone soon.” I explained to him.

“Fine then, I’ll stay with you.” He declared.

Shaking my head, “No I promised your mom I would make you go if we moved out and now I’m telling you to go. I’ll be fine plus Caitlyn is a phone call away since she decided to not go back to school and lives about 3 minutes away.”

Rolling his eyes he walked over to the bed. “Looks like you win this one, but I will be back before you know it.” He informed me as he leaned in to kiss my forehead. “Love you.” He whispered as he walked out of our bedroom.

“Love you too.” I shouted at him even though I knew his werewolf senses could have picked up a whisper.

Hearing the door shut made me finally realized how big this house was when you were all alone. Trying to sleep was a hard task. Every time I would start to daze off I would get a nauseous feeling that would take over.

Getting up to try to shower a feeling came to my gut, causing me to jet to the bathroom. This had made the fourth time I had gotten sick. Curse this stupid bug. Finally getting enough strength I ended up in a 10 minute shower.

After I was showered I felt ten times better already. Looking at the clock it was only a little after ten. Being bored I decided to call Caitlyn to see what she was doing.”

After the third ring she picked up. “Hey, shouldn’t you be at school?” She answered.

“Not today, I ended up being sick.” I informed her.

She laughed “Well that sucks, what are you doing right now?”

“Laying on the couch watching TV, wondering if I liked the way the furniture is set up or if I want to move it for the billionth time.” I joked with her.

“If you’re not contagious I could come over, I just dropped Ryan off at my mom’s who allowed me to borrow her car.” She happily said.

“I haven’t ran a temperature so I don’t think I’m contagious it could have been something I ate. Plus when are you getting your car out of the shop?” I questioned.

“Not soon enough I’ll tell you that, but anyways I’ll be over in about 40 minutes I’ll stop and get you soup.” She told me.

“Sounds good to me, bye.” I finished as I hanged up the phone

Walking up stairs I looked in the room we were storing boxes in to look for my fuzzy blanket, which I had yet to unpack. After a ten minute search I finally found it. Walking back down stairs I made a cup of hot tea and went back to the couch.

Grabbing a book I had been reading I continued to read it until I heard the doorbell ring. Pushing myself off the couch, I went to answer it. Seeing Caitlyn in the doorway made me smile. She was carrying a takeout bag that had soup in it.

“You are amazing.” I greeted her.

“I do my best.” She replied.

Making out way back to the living room we just ended up eating in there talking. As I was eating suddenly I had the erg to get sick. I stood up from where I was and rushed to the nearby bathroom. Flushing the toilet I washed my hands and rinsed my mouth then made my way back to Caitlyn.

A concerned look was on Caitlyn’s face. “Maybe I should give my mom a call.” She said as she started to pull out her phone.

“I’m fine trust me.” I pleaded with her.

Nodding her head she went back to her soup. Pushing mine away I looked at it with discussed. “It was just the smell of the soup, is all.”

Caitlyn’s mouth dropped. “Emma when was your last period?” She frantically questioned as she awaited my answer.

Trying to recall my last one, I was drawling a blank. I knew I had one in November, December I knew I did because it was my Christmas present from Mother Nature. After that I was having a hard time remembering. I must have had it just forgot.

Shrugging my shoulders “I’m not sure, I lost track it was probably last week for all I know.”

Standing up Caitlyn set her soup aside “Come on.” She said as she pulled me up off the couch.

“Where are we going?”

“To buy a pregnancy test.” Shock took over me, there is no way.

“There is no point.” I quickly implied.

She kept pulling me closer to the door. “I don’t care what you say; we are running to the pharmacy right down the street.”

Giving up I quickly grabbed my purse and house key, locking the door behind us. Hopping in Lisa’s car Caitlyn wiped out of the driveway. We arrived there in about 10 minutes. Jumping out of the car Caitlyn was in the store way before me.

Walking in I walked around the store until I found Caitlyn. She was staring at the pregnancy tests that were right above the condoms, how ironic. “Which one would you consider more accurate?” She wondered.

Shrugging my shoulders I glared at her “How am I supposed to know.” I angrily barked at her. This is just a waste of time and pointless.

“Here we will buy these three.” She explained as she grabbed a box of the three top brands.

Rolling my eyes I followed her to the cash register. The guy checking us out was staring at us like we were insane. If he only knew Caitlyn then he would understand her action to over react at my stomach bug.

Making it home less than 10 minutes Caitlyn darted to the front door. I would have sworn it was her taking the test and not me. Walking to the door I unlocked it and allowed Caitlyn in first where she already had a test out and handed it to me telling me to go pee on it.

Snatching the damn thing out of her hand I went to take it just to prove to Caitlyn how dumb she was being. Walking out of the bathroom with the stick in my hand I looked at her.

Holding it up in the air I thought this was a joke. “It’s blank.” I said.

“You have to wait a few minutes. Duh!” She told me.

Setting it on the counter in front of her I walked into the living room to retrieve our dishes from our soup. Placing them in the sink I decided to do dishes later. Turning around I saw Caitlyn’s face go through multiple emotions.

“What is it?” I frantically questioned.

“You’re Pregnant.” She muttered.

Dashing over to the stupid stick I saw the word Pregnant across the bar. Holy Shit, no no no this can’t be happening. I quickly ripped opened the other box and grabbed a stick taking off to the bathroom to force myself to pee.

Returning with it I began waiting for the damn stick to tell me. Watching two pink lines appear I began to freak out. “Caitlyn this can’t be happening.” I nearly shouted.

She placed on hand on my back and started to rub it. “You’ll be fine, I promise. Tyler will be so happy.” She reassured me.

Shaking my head at what she said. “You don’t know that he could flip out completely. Oh God what if he leaves me?” I started to sob as thoughts started to pop in my head.

Snapping her fingers in front of my face she was trying to get my attention. “Focus, all you need to do is tell him. There is no way to know exactly what he will do until you see for yourself.”

“I—I don’t know if I can…” I quietly cried.

“I’ll be here if you need me.” She stated.

Hugging her for a moment I finally began to breath normally again. “Thank you so much. For everything…You are a really friend and an awesome sister.”

“I wouldn’t rush to the pharmacy quicker for anyone else.” She smiled at me.

Laughing at her I felt a snort escape my mouth. “So much for a wedding this summer…” I said randomly.

“Why’s that?”

Looking at her face I could tell she was serious. “Hello I’m knocked up here.” I said pointing to my somewhat flat stomach.

“No one would care, especially not Tyler.” She pointed out.

Looking at the clock I knew Tyler would be home soon. “This should be an interesting evening.”

“I can stay if you want?” Caitlyn asked.

Knowing I would have to face him alone sometime about it, I shook my head. “I’ll be fine, just a little nervous, but I’ll call you about it later. Oh, if you don’t mind could you take these boxes?” I asked her pointing at the pregnancy test sitting on the counter.

Gathering up all the boxes I told her I just wanted to keep the actual test I used. Nodding telling me she understood she left them with me as she left. I went to grab the test and hide them for the time being, not wanting Tyler to see them and not giving me a chance to tell him.

All I could do was keep looking at the clock wondering when he would be home, Soon a little after 3 I heard the garage door open and soon heard the garage door open. Looking over to it I saw Tyler standing there with flowers.

He walked over to me and kissed my cheek. “I’m glad to see you out of bed and feeling better.”

“Who said I was feeling better.” I messed with him.

“Considering the house smells like Caitlyn was here kind of tells me.” He said with a wink.

Watching him make his way to the couch he stopped in from of me taking a seat. Handing me the flowers a huge smile found its way onto my face. “What are these for?”

“They were a little something I was going to use as a get better type thing but since you seem to be better, they are for the fact that I can because I love you.” He said as he placed them on the table moving closer to me.

Closing the distance Tyler pressed his lips against mine. I wrapped my arms around his neck feeling the heat between our kiss. The electricity I felt run through my body gave me chills. Breaking away from Tyler to breath I remember what I needed to do.

Taking no time to waste Tyler pressed his lips to the bite mark I now had on my neck. Causing me to moan I tried to get Tyler’s attention. “Tyler…”

Not taking his lips of my neck he mumbled. “Mhm.”

“We… we need to talk.” I managed to get out.

This caused him to freeze and take his mouth off of my neck and looked me in the eyes. “Okay what do you need to talk about?”

Staying silent for a moment I thought about how I could word this. “Tyler I need to tell you something that’s very important.” I quickly said.

“Okay…” He hesitantly said.

“Earlier while Caitlyn was here she didn’t believe I have a stomach bug.”

Taking a quick breath I went on “So she wanted to go to the pharmacy and get something to test her theory.”

Stopping I looked at Tyler who seemed to become a little nervous. “I took two pregnancy tests. Tyler I’m Pregnant.” I nearly cried to him.
