“I am not going to make you choice the pack or me. That would be wrong, and you’ve known the pack longer than me. It’s hardly fair to make you pick me over them anyways.”

“That means nothing to me, I know you find it hard to believe but I would choice you over them every time. I’m sorry if I haven’t been showing you that. I need to know these things, when you feel like this I want you to tell me.”

“Tyler, they are your family.” I reminded him

A growl ripped through Tyler’s chest “I know this but you are my family now too.”

“Dating someone hardly makes them part of the family. I informed him.

“Fine then marry me?”

Staring at Tyler in shock I was unable to form words. What just happen, did he really mean marry him? Panic took over me, why would he ask me this. He doesn’t want me forever, I never actually thought about us getting married now that I think about it.

Tyler looked at me as if I were dead. “Emma are you okay, you’re rather pale.”

I shook my head to answer him. “It’s just that… I don’t see us getting married.”

Tyler’s face looked as if I stabbed him. Guilt took over me quickly, placing my hand on his I looked him in his cold eyes. “Tyler I love you, but it’s me not you. I don’t want you to be stuck with me for the rest of your life.”

Not knowing what Tyler was thinking I kept sitting there hoping he would talk to me soon. “Are you stupid Emma?”

My mouth flew open “What? No I’m not stupid…”

“I have told you time and time again that I love you and you will be the only one I will ever love for the rest of my life and here we are sitting talking about how you aren’t good enough for me. Well here is what I say if I want you for the rest of my life I will have you, so you can marry me or just have me as your boyfriend for the rest of your life.” Tyler finished preaching.

I had to bite my tongue until I had a good response. “Now I feel stupid.”

Taking my face into his hands Tyler pushed his lips to mine causing a spark to fill my body. I wrapped my arms around his neck to keep him in place as our kiss deepened. Breaking the kiss I pulled away for air as our foreheads rested against each others.

“You should feel stupid, and another thing I never ever want to hear you say how you aren’t good enough for me because trust me babe you are more than enough. You will feel our bond after we mate.” Tyler chirped happily as he kissed my cheek.

After hearing him say that it made me start thinking when were we exactly going to mate. The thought kind of frightened me, what if I didn’t fulfill him the way I should?

“So what do you think about my proposal?” Tyler emerged from our silence with a question.

Pausing for a minute I decided to give him my honest opinion. “Well I think it’s too soon and what kind of proposal was that, not romantic at all more of a shock really.”

“I guess I will try again, and have it extra romantic just for you!” Tyler joked with me.

A smile came on to my face “I never said no…but I never said yes.”

Shaking his head Tyler cracked his all to famous smile I loved so much “Women, what are we going to do with them.”

Standing up on my tippy toes I reached up to give Tyler a quick peck on the lips “Well while you figure that out I’m going to be off to school so I’m not late on my first day.”

“I’ll drive you.” He suddenly volunteered.

Raising an eyebrow at him I couldn’t help but notice the look on his face that told me he was up to something. “Okay…” I replied dragging out my response.

Grabbing my hand Tyler pulled me out the door, while he scooped up my backpack in his other hand. “Call and make sure Caitlyn and Kyle are on their way there.”

Turning to look at him before I went to retrieve my cell phone I gave him a salute “Yes sir!”

When I finished with Caitlyn on the phone I walked myself back to the kitchen, hearing Tyler on the phone caused me to stop in my tracks. I tried to listen close to what he was saying “Yes that is right, but none on Thursday’s or Friday’s.”

“Yes thank you that will be all.” Hearing him hang up I walked back to the kitchen where he stood holding a smile on his face. I could help but wonder what he was up too.

Walking up to me Tyler grabbed me around the waist and held me against him. “So I’ve been thinking about what you said earlier and your right. I should go to school with you.”

I looked up at him with the same goofy smile he had on it a minute ago. “Really?”

“Yes, would I lie about something this important to you?” He question with a stern look.

Standing up on my tippy toes I reached up and pecked him on the lips. As soon as our lips made contact, they made a shock which caused me to pull away quickly.

Touching my lips as if they got stung I started to wonder why this happened. “Why did it do that?” I asked Tyler.

A smirk played on his face. “That means you’re starting to connect to the bond like I’ve been hoping for.”

Kissing his lips again the shock was there but not as strong. “Let’s get going before we are late.” I informed him as I grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the door.

By the time we we’re finish with school it was only 3 in the afternoon, Caitlyn wanted to go get a few things for her baby that she didn’t get from the baby shower. She begged Kyle and Tyler to let us two go together and for them to go something.

After she begged for a good ten minutes she finally got her way, but Kyle informed me to call him any time since she was about to pop any minute now. I knew Kyle was just being protective which I understood and told him he can trust me.

“So how did you enjoy your classes?” Caitlyn wondered as she looked through a row of little boy clothing.

I shrugged my shoulders “It was okay I guess, I just wish I didn’t have to go to school again.”

“At least Tyler is there with you so when I have little Ryan here you won’t be alone.”

Suddenly I had a question for Caitlyn. “Don’t get me wrong I love how you’re going to college and what not but why are you especially when you could have the baby any day?”

“The fact that I was stuck in the house all day because Kyle was to scarred for me to drive anywhere while pregnant was so hard. You could only see me when you had a car to drive to me, or if Kyle brought me to you. Mom was trying to take care of the pack like a good Luna should do, and was struggling to come see me and do her duties. It was hard I wanted out and I knew if I said I wanted to go to college he would consider the idea.” Taking a deep breath she finished her long speech.

“I just want to move closer to home being 30 min away isn’t bad until you have no way to get there or no one can come see you. Maybe you and Tyler can move closer to me” She implied

“I don’t know when that will be, we aren’t even married.” I quickly said

She stood there for a minute “I have the best idea I am going to have Tyler propose if you feel that you must be married before you move, but it’s like you two are already married you sleep and in the same bed and do it right?”

My face began to burn “Caitlyn…” I shushed her.

“Oh my God, you all haven’t had sex yet?” She practically yelled.

I threw my hand over her mouth “No we haven’t okay, and he already asked me to marry him. But I said not now.” I whispered the last part.

Her eyes grew as she took the entire information in. “What? Emma why didn’t you say yes? It’s not like you would get married tomorrow it’s technically just a promise to marry each other and no sex? Why?”

“I guess I’ve never saw it like that. Maybe I should text him.” I told her as I whipped out my phone.

Before I knew it Caitlyn had snatched my phone out of my hands “You will not text him ‘yes’ that’s so lame. You will call him in a second after you answer my second question, no sex?

Rolling my eyes “If you must know miss nosy no we haven’t okay.”

“Why not I thought you two loved each other and since you’ve been going out for a little over 1 year now I just assumed…” She pointed out.

“Sorry I didn’t know you had to have sex at a certain time.” I replied as I hugged my jacket close, while we made our way to the store next to the one we were just at. “Whose idea was it to start college at the second semester anyways; it’s so cold when we walk to different buildings.”

Caitlyn walked in front of me holding the door opened for me as we emerged into the building. “I believe it was your idea or mine I forget, but stop avoiding my question, do you not want to?”

Turning to her with my face the color of a cherry, I started to beg her. “Please can we drop the subject and just find what you need, the baby stuff is on the second floor.”

“Fine, but just so you know Tyler wants too.” She smiled at me as she hopped on the elevator.

“Wait what, you can’t say that and then drop it. What do you mean and better yet how do you know?” I questioned.

“It’s so obvious he checks you out any chance he gets not to mention his eyes changes colors when he touches you. I get it that you probably haven’t notice, being human and all but it’s just a few things I’ve picked up when I see you two together.”

I felt so stupid how have I not notice “Now I feel awful.”

“Don’t worry about it, he won’t do anything until you want to. Forget I said anything.” She told me.

“Yeah cause that will be easy.”

I heard a beep come from my pocket. I pulled out my phone to see it had in fact died. Caitlyn looked over at me “What’s wrong?”

“My phone died, guess I can’t call Tyler.” I explained to Caitlyn as I followed her to the baby stuff.

Searching through her purse she produced her phone. “I still have mine, here.”

Reluctantly taking her phone I saw it had no service. “It’s hard to call someone if you don’t have any service.”

“Grr…I hate when it does that, here let’s go outside and try, this is way more important than shopping.” Caitlyn dragged me over to the elevator pushing the button franticly.

“Easy there it won’t come any faster by doing that.” I told her as I moved her hand of the button.

“I guess you’re right, this is why I hate elevators.” She joked.

Hearing the ding she sighed in relief. “If I weren’t mistaking it seems that you we’re the one about to except a marriage proposal not me.” I laughed as she joined in.

“I just want you to be a part of my family, officially anyways.” She told me as we got onto the elevator.

As the elevator began to move it dramatically stopped. “Caitlyn what button did you hit?”

She looked at me like I was nuts “Wait, I didn’t push anything but the button that has a 1 on it.”

I flew over to the buttons and kept hitting the door open button. Panic soon to take over me, the elevator was stuck. I quickly hit the emergency button to let them know we were stuck. “Don’t worry everything is going to be fine.” I informed Caitlyn as I turned to her.

I could have sworn I was looking at a ghost Caitlyn completion has turned completely pale. “Emma we have a bigger problem than that, my water just broke.”
