Tyler shook his head as if he disapproved but was laughing too "Caitlyn don't be so over dramatic."

She placed her hand over her heart "Me over dramatic...Please."

"As much as I love you, we better get going before they give our table away. Goodnight Caitlyn."

"Night Brother, and night to you too Emma, Be careful I don't want to be an---." Tyler pulled me out of the door before I could hear her finish.

"Okay now that Caitlyn had her say are you ready to go." Tyler requested.

I allowed him to guide me to the car "I'm more than ready." This would be my first proper date.

My eyes were stuck to the window making it seem I was interested on what we were passing when really I was too nervous to look at Tyler.

I rubbed my hand on my knees to get rid of the sweat they were starting to create. There was music on but was too low to hear much of it. I wanted to look at him but I couldn't build up enough courage.

"Are you warm I could turn the heat off?" Tyler asked.

My head jerked over to look at him "Oh I'm fine." I said with my eyes down casted.

"Are you really okay?" He questioned.

I nodded my head at him and went back to look out the window. I felt the car eased over to the side of the road. When the car came to a stop I felt as if my heart did too.

"Emma look at me."

Taking in a deep breath I turned my head over to him, while I examined his face I tried to read his expression but I couldn't figure it out.

I saw his hand move to my face causing me to jump back. With his hand on my cheek, he pulled my face close to his. "I will never hurt you like Kevin did; I don't want you to keep feeling like this. I want you to trust me."

The tears that formed in my eyes made his face harder to see, I wiped the tears away and tried to pull myself together "I know you won't, but how can I forget my past?"

"I'm not asking you to forget your past because it's always going to be a part of your life no matter how much I wish it wasn't. I just need you to trust me." Tyler plead

Tyler grabbed my hands trying to calm me down. "I want to trust you believe me I do but I can't." I cried

"You can Emma, I know you feel as if you can't but you can. Just because in the past you found it hard to trust anyone doesn't mean you should stop."

My chest was aching "Why are you wasting your time on me? You could have anyone and yet you sit here and choose me."

"There will never be anyone else. My whole life I've been told I would find someone who would take my breath away; never would I have believed them until I met you. I can't help but smile when I see you." Tyler confessed.

"How do you know I'm that girl, you just met me for all you know this is all in your head."

Tyler smirk at my comment "I know you don't feel the bond we have right now but you will; I know it's hard to imagine but you are the only girl who my heart was made for."

"But what about--."

Tyler cut me off when he smashed his lips to mine. His lips were warm and soft as they moved with mine. When Tyler pulled away he rested his forehead on mine. "You cannot sit here and tell me you didn't feel anything."

He was right when he kissed me I felt a pull to him and now that he kissed me it only made me want more. "I can't deny something isn't there because I felt something...but I can't let you in."

"Emma I hate the thought that you have suffered in the past but I am here and I'm not going anywhere."

I turned away from Tyler's gaze "I'm scared."

Tyler's armed wrapped around me "I know but we can do this. We have each other, and you will always have me."

I wrapped my arms around him as we embraced in a hug "Promise?"

"I promise my life."

We sat there for a few more minutes in silent. "Are you ready to go? We can always go back home if you like." Tyler informed me.

I shook my head "No, I'm fine."

"Okay then let's get going." Tyler put the car in drive and took back off on the road. The ride to the restaurant was pretty quick.

As we pulled up a guy walked over to my door and opened it for me. One did the same for Tyler. I saw Tyler toss the guy his keys and walked over to me.

Placing his arm around my waist he pulled me into the restaurant. The lights inside were dimed down to give it a romantic feeling. The place was crawling in other couples who looked extremely well dressed.

"Tyler are you sure this place isn't too expensive?"

This brought humor to Tyler "Money is not a problem, don't worry about it."

"I don't want you spend all your money on me, I'm not worth it."

"Your right...no money can equal to what you are worth." Tyler notified me.

My cheeks heated up "Your wrong."

"I maybe wrong about something's in my life but this is not one of them." He enlightened me as he planted a kiss on my cheek.

I opened my mouth to reply back but the hostess interrupted and he took down our name and escorted us to our table. We had a booth in the far back corner. Somehow I felt as if Tyler requested it because we were almost secluded from everyone else.

When we sat down I sat on one side while Tyler sat on the other. The hostess handed us our menus and assured us our waiter would be with us momentarily.

I picked my menu up and went over it. I couldn't peel my eyes off of the prices; they were way too expensive for my taste.

"Don't even look at the cost Emma or I will order for you." Tyler warned.

With that being said I tried to pay attention to the meal instead of it price. "My name is Mary I'll be your waitress today may I start you off with some refreshments?" An older lady who appeared to be early 60 asked.

Tyler pointed at me to go first "Can I get a sweet Tea."

She turned to Tyler "And for you."

"I'll take a coke please."

She wrote his coke down "I'll be right back with your drinks and then take your orders."

I have looked over the menu about 100 times and had no clue as to what I wanted to eat. Everything seemed too good to be true.

"Do you know what you're getting?" Tyler asked.

I glanced over my menu one last time "I have no idea, it all seems amazing to me."

"I mean if you want to order the whole menu be my guess." Tyler chuckled.

"Haha aren't you too funny."

A smile appeared on Tyler face "I like to believe I am."

I couldn't help but laugh at him "Of course you would."

When Mary returned with our drinks I ended up picking something random. I ended up with some type of Garlic Chicken alfredo. Tyler went with a steak.

"When will we go back to school?" I randomly asked.

Tyler seemed to have been thrown off guard but quickly recovered "Well I didn't know how much you wanted to go back. My mom could get you a home school teacher, because I know how much you hated it there."

"But what about you, don't you have school."

"No I finished last year but I wanted to go back to school to see Stacy but things have changed."

Hearing her name made me cringe and caused multiple memories to come flooding to my mind. My whole high school was hell because of her and Caysea.

Tyler reached across the table "Emma I meant nothing by it I promise."

"I know it's like you said I my past is my past." I quoted.

Tyler looked me in the eyes "You won't ever have to worry about them anymore."

We sat there and talked about little things until our food came. My food was delicious and Tyler seemed to enjoyed his as well he offered me a bite but at the time I was already to full.

"Hey Tyler, can I ask you a question?"

He looked puzzled "Uh... Yeah go for it."

"What did your mom do with my baby when I lost it?" I requested.

I saw multiple emotions run through Tyler's eyes. After a minute Tyler finally answered. "She buried him with our other family member's."

I nodded my head until I realize what he just said. "It was a boy?"

Tyler looked at my searching for me to freak out. After finding nothing he continued "Yes it was, but worse of all it was Mike's too."

My chest tightened but I kept calm "How... how did she find out?" I stuttered.

"I'm not sure she never actually told me."

When we were both finished and ready to leave, Tyler grabbed my head and lead me back to where we entered. We waited a few minutes and soon Tyler's car appeared. The guy gave Tyler his keys back and Tyler handed him some money.

After get back into his car we headed off back to the house. On the way Tyler turned the radio up so we weren't in a silence the whole time.

When arriving to the house it was a little after 10. I was extremely tired and Tyler could tell it. He wrapped his arm around me and pulled me along "Let's get you to bed before you fall over asleep."

As soon as Tyler opened the door Caitlyn appeared in the hall. "It's about time, I've been waiting forever." She cried.

"Not now Caitlyn, Emma is tired you can talk to her tomorrow." Tyler proposed to Caitlyn.

Caitlyn crossed her arms and put on her best puppy face "Fine...."

We started to head p stairs when Tyler stopped "Where's mom and dad?"

"Oh I meant to tell you Beth went in to Labor so they had to go help out. You know how Tim is with that stuff. Mom said he fainted like twice before they even got there." Caitlyn laughed.

"Well night." Tyler shouted as he pulled me with him up the stairs.

When we got to my door Tyler stopped out front of it "Well I guess this is goodnight." He planted a kiss on my forehead.

"Wait please don't leave me." I begged him as he started to walk off.

A grin appeared on Tyler's face "Fine, I'll change and I'll be back. I promise."

When he was gone I slipped into my room and changed as well. I forgot home much pain my feet were in thanks to the heels Caitlyn forced me in.

After I was in my conferrable pajama's, I hoped into my bed and instantly felt a sense of peace take over me. I heard the door open and then the bed dipped down beside me.

I turned over to see Tyler looking at me the way a husband would look at his wife, with love, passion, and care.

"Have I ever told you, you're beautiful?" Tyler questioned.

My heart was beating so hard I felt as if it would burst any moment. "I don't believe so." I told him

"Well I am now, so don't you forget it."

Tyler grabbed my face in his hands and kissed me on the lips. The passion I felt earlier soon returned and caused our kiss to last longer than before. Soon we broke away out of breath.

"Night Emma I love you."
