you didnt have time to look behind you to see who it was as you felt two arms immediately wrap around your waist from behind. your face changed to an expression filled with happiness.

even if it wasnt even a day, youve missed inumaki already and were glad to be back with him. "y/n!" he spoke out while wrapping his arms tighter around your waist.

the hug was quite short, but you were more than glad that he was here right now. he loosened his grip on your waist and retracted his arms.

one of inumakis arms made its way to his collar, pulling it down as he was still standing slightly besides you. in a swift motion, he got his face close to yours and panted a soft, sweet kiss on your cheek.

the warmth lingered around for a moment and he quickly broke the contact between his lips and your cheek again, pulling his collar back up, you felt yourself blush at the motion.

it was silent in the common room, you looked back to the front as you were going to walk to the couch but found five pairs of eyes staring at you two.

megumi and panda just looked casually to you two, they already expected it. whereas yuuji, nobara and maki were looking at you and inumaki with widened eyes and their mouth slightly parted.

nobara had a smile creeping on her face as she witnessed the previous motion that inumaki had shown you.

looking back at them, you heard inumaki behind you speak up, "tuna tuna." he said while smiling at the five who couldnt tear their gazes away from you.

you took this as a sign to confess, you could confess about the fact that you were a kamo as well. and so you opened your mouth to speak, "inumaki and i are together." you said straight to the point and looked at inumaki.

he was already looking at you and you saw his eyes becoming smaller, he was smiling under his turtleneck. the tips of his ears were tinted a light pink too.

smiling back at him, your little moment was interrupted by nobara and maki who yelled out, "finally!" and you snapped your head at them.

you witnessed that they were both standing and nobara, being the energetic girl she is, had her hands up in the air to high five maki. your female senpai gladly took the chance and high fived nobara back.

yuuji beamed at you and spoke up, "really?!" he said excitedly and you saw little stars in his eyes. you were glad that they were happy with the news.

panda didnt seem surprised, you then saw him wink at inumaki and it immediately clicked in your head, 'he already knew.' you thought to yourself as you recalled that panda and inumaki were litteral best friends.

you visibly relaxed, glad that they accepted it. you took this chance to announce about your new technique as well.

coughing to catch their attention, you saw they all looked at you, "i actually have another announcement to make." you said and smiled at them.

yuuji immediately spoke up, "are you preg-" he said but couldnt finish his sentence as nobara firmly slapped her hand on his mouth.

inumaki besides you tried to stiffle his laughter but failed, he let out a soft laugh which was music to your ears. you pretended that you didnt hear that all just now and continued.

"you all know i was on an extended leave for two days." you started and rubbed the back of your neck sheepishly. "i actually found something out about my family then." you continued and scanned the room once more.

you had everyones attention and decided to go on, "my dad left his clan for the love of his life, izumi l/n." you said and smiled at them, hoping they had heard of the story of osamu kamo and would connect the dots.

megumi was the first one to let out a gasp, since he was a distant relative of the zenin clan, he had heard of that story some times.

his eyes widened at your news and he showed a small smile. he remained quiet as he let the others take their time to figure it out too.

then it was makis turn to look at you in shock, she muttered out, "no way." while approaching you. maki then stood in front of you and held both of your shoulders, "does that mean..." she asked if you were a kamo and you vigorously nodded your head at her.

she smiled and spoke out loudly, "my kouhais are growing up!" maki said and then let go of your shoulders as she noticed inumaki who had widened eyes.

nobara, panda and yuuji were still left in confusion and talked among each other and try to figure it out.

"toge are you okay?" maki asked her comrade with a little concern. inumaki just looked at you and blinked as he knew what you meant with the story.

he spoke up, carefully, "y/n kamo?" and you smiled at him, letting him know that it was indeed true. the smile under his collar grew and he launched himself at you, wrapping his arms around your waist to hug you and show you how glad he was with the news.

you wrapped both your arms around his neck and let out a soft laugh at his action. he stayed like that for a while as your bodys were pressed together against each other.

inumaki wanted to speak up and tell you how happy he was to hear it, but his cursed speech wouldnt let him. he did try to manage with a few words.

he tilted his head slightly down to your ear as he was still hugging you and spoke up, calmly, "thats amazing." he said in a whisper and you felt his hot breath against your ear.
