《Inumaki Toge x Reader》55

hours passed and you still couldnt move the blood in the small dish in front of you, you were close to giving up and so were the two other men who accompanied you.
looking at the digital on the table, you saw it was already 5PM, you were trying for three whole hours now and it just wouldnt budge.
you sighed annoyed and sat down on the chair next to you. gojo looked at you with one hand supporting his chin and a bored expression on his face. nanami on the other hand was peacefully reading a magazine besides your sensei.
fortunately you werent hungry anymore, kaito, you former doctor visited the infirmary earlier and saw the tests you guys were doing, he then offered some sandwiches to the three of you.
you were incredibly close to giving up and spoke up, "maybe i dont have their technique after all." you said with disappointment evident in your voice
gojo disagreed and wanted to speak up, but nanami beat him to it. "think of your blood as if its still part of you." he said and you furrowed you brows at the comment.
"what do you think ive been doing for the past three hours then?" you snapped at him as you were tired of all these tests. you turned your gaze to nanami who still had his eyes on the magazine.
you continued, "of course ive already tried that." you said and raised your voice slightly. folding your arms in front of your chest while still looking at nanami, you noticed he was quiet.
nanami was silent, much to your dismay. 'is he ignoring me?' you thought to yourself and found yourself clenching your jaw in the slightest bit.
"its difficult to try a technique i probably dont even have for three whole hours with no progress." you said and got both your hands on the table, curled in fists.

you continued, "i cant just master a whole different technique in a couple hours if thats what you thought." you told him and narrowed your eyes at nanami.
but nanami didnt say a single thing, gojo wanted to interrupt you and calm you down but you spoke before he had the chance to do so, "im just wasting my time here, cant you see that!" you snapped at him.
you were becoming furious at the whole situation, youve wasted lots of precious time that you could use to train and become stronger, and nanami didnt even seem to care.
you wanted to get up and stand in front of nanami so he would finally look at you and hear what you had to say about this all, but gojo finally spoke up before you could. "y/n." he said sternly and you tilted your head at your sensei.
'if he says one more thing about not giving up-' you thought to yourself as you waited for him to talk. he raised his hand and motioned to the petri dish, "look." he commanded.
surprised, you turned your head at the dish with your blood and widened your eyes at it.
the blood was no longer in the perti dish, instead, it was dripping down the table. you were certain that no one had touched the dish and didnt know what to say. the only thing coming from your mouth being a single, "how...?"
nanami finally broke his silence, "apperantly it gets controlled with emotion." he said and tilted his head to look at you while giving you the smallest smile.
you immediately felt guilt come over you as you realized you snapped at him not too long ago and apologized, "im sorry." you said as you looked at him.
he waved it off and spoke up, "its fine, i was just testing you." he said as he closed his magazine and you didnt know what to say.

"as expected." gojo said and gave him a thumbs up while smiling brightly. gojo then casted his gaze to you and spoke up, breaking the news, "so you do manipulate blood." he said and his smile never faltered.
feeling speechless, you realized you really were a kamo. this meant you could become one of the best jujutsu sorcerers.
you felt happiness come over you, you could protect those who are dear to you with your technique and a smile grew on your features.
but of course, you had to train alot, seeing you only discovered your technique not even a minute ago, you had to catch up alot.
it was as if gojo read your mind, "dont worry, y/n." he said as he stood up from his chair. "you have a great sensei here who will catch you up." he said while pointing to himself and smirking at his own comment.
nanami then looked at his watch and spoke up, "the others are probably done training too now." he said and placed the magazine on the table while standing up too.
"since we are done too, youre free to go." he said in his monotonous tone. you beamed at him and thanked them, "thank you!" while making your way out of the infirmary.
while passing the many corridors, walking to the student common room. you looked outside to the training fields and saw that they were indeed empty.
you fastened your pace slightly and arrived at the common room. almost in an instant you slid the door open and were met with all first and second years of your school.
maki was the first to notice you in the doorway as she was walking to the couch with a glass of water in her hand. "oh hey, l/n." she said as she smiled at you.
the other students then looked your way and they all greeted you. yuuji had told everyone about your little meeting with gojo so none of them were concerned much, which relaxed you.
you greeted them all back, "hey guys." you said with a big smile on your face, you were eager to tell everyone about the news of what you just discovered.
scanning the room, you realized inumaki wasnt there. you frowned slightly and spoke up while walking furter in the room, "where is toge?" you said.
panda looked at you in an instant and maki almost choked on her water, she repeated your words, "... toge?" she said and you nodded at her question, completely clueless.
nobara who was sitting on the couch next to yuuji looked at you and tried her best to contain a smile from creeping up om her face, "you mean inumaki-senpai?" she called you out on the fact that you used his first name.
megumi who was sitting on a chair next to the couch just looked at you and then back to the television, he could care less, in fact, he wanted you to be happy. he was already over it anyways.
you were at a loss of words when nobara caught you, not knowing if you should already confess about your relationship with him.
looking anywhere but to nobara, you tried to speak up, "well-" you said but were interrupted by the sound of the door behind you sliding open.

8 209Legacy of Blood
Ao Ruang lives in a village isolated from the outside world. Due to a tragic fate he finds himself far away from his home on the brink of death. Only to be entrusted with the legacy of a near extinct race.A Legacy he must embrace.A Legacy that fills humanity with suspicion and hate.A Legacy written in blood. Hello Author here!I hope you all are enjoying my take on a cultivation story. I wanted to take elements I enjoy from cultivation novels while avoiding some of the tropes and insane power creep. I want to keep things as grounded as possible. The story is a bit quick paced in the start, but you will find that it slows down to a decent pace later on. The romance is going to be a slow burn and I want to keep it a bit of a surprise. While our protagonist Ao Ruang is the main man of the story their were will be times other characters will get some love also.Lastly, there will be occasional goals from latest chapter if those goals are reached I will release a bonus side chapter that focuses on other characters we have met before and I'm considering having polls to decide who the side chapter will be on.Please consider supporting me in anyway you can. For now I'm just looking for people to review, suggest to others, and interact.Respectfully,Joseon Walking
8 159How The Weak Live
This was a rough draft. Quite a meh one. The newer version is These Games of Ours. ---------- Lucious is deserter among many, living by dagger and beggary. Argento’s thirst for knowledge is endless, as is his belly. Kora is the perfect soldier, yet her sword grows dull in monotony. Formally known as the Empire's legend, the Captain is now stuck in stagnation. The Gods, grown weary of human deeds, have decided to indulge themselves in a different way. -------------- THE 7 REALLY IMPORTANT STUFF Clichés shall be avoided like the cancerous tumors they are. The world shall not spread its pink butt cheeks for the main character’s convenience. No character shall be thinner than one slice of white American cheese. No female character shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main character is. No villain shall serve to highlight how overpowered and fabulous the main characters are. Grammar laws shall be upheld sometimes. I, the author, swear not to be a prick. I, the author, swear not to go away without warning. If other LitRPGs are like Skyrim, then this is going to be a combination of Dark Souls and Total War. Don't expect action for the sake of action. Be warned, this is a slow novel. Read the reviews to see if this novel is a decent fit for you. Disclaimer: I do not own that gorgeous cover art.
