《Inumaki Toge x Reader》15

with toudou in front of you, you didnt know what to do or what would happen. even if you only met two of the members of the kyoto school, you already knew he was the most unpredictable one.
he beamed as his smile grew even wider, "all of you, come at me at once!" without wasting a single second, yuuji rushed towards toudou to buy you guys time.
the pink haired boy grabbed both sides of toudous face and kneed him in a single but fast. motion. taking this time, the remaining 6 of you took this opportunity to slip away and following to the strategy.
all of you knew that toudou would scatter from the group but his motives were still unknown. you ran along with megumi and maki towards one side of the forest in order to try and fins the first grade cursed spirit.
inumaki panda and nobara took the other side and the 6 of you parted ways. you ran behind megumi with maki on your side and she spoke up, "were right to swap itadori into that roll."
you perked up at her comment, wondering how she knew exactly that it would happen and you asked, "maki-senpai how did you know he would go on his own?" you said while looking at her.
she smirked at your comment and opened her mouth to let a single word flow out of it, "intuition." she then turned her head back forward and the 3 of you went deeper into the forest.
"hey guys." you spoke up after running for a while. "isnt it weird how everyone seemed to target yuuji?" you questioned. it had been a question on your mind for some time now. since toudou broke your teams formation, you noticed how he was only looking at yuuji.

megumi and maki slowed their speed slightly and thought about it too. "im glad i wasnt the only one thinking that." maki spoke up.
with maki agreeing to your statement, you felt more confident in your question, you thought you might just be overthinking it but apperantly not.
megumi was still quiet as he tried to reason on why they would be so focused on yuuji. he finally spoke up, "the kyoto students dont look like they work very well together, so if theyre onto something, they must have gotten orders." he said while looking straight forward.
"that could be someone like the principal then?" you asked while frowning your brows, not liking where this conversation would go to.
maki snapped her head towards you and realized something crucial. "we all know the principal isnt very keen of yuuji..." she spoke and the 3 of you came to a halt.
megumi stood still too and looked down, "theyre planning on killing itadori." he said in a soft tone while frowning.
maki clapped her hands, trying to lighten the mood while speaking up, "new plan, we find the kyoto students and ask them." you agreed with her by nodding your head.
after running for about 5 minutes without finding anything, megumi started slowing down. he eventually stood still and looked around in the area.
the 3 of you were still walking on an open path which was still very visible from mid air and he noticed this.
he motioned you and maki too get to the side of the path under the bigger trees for better camouflage. you were still confused as why he did it. maki seemed to understand the situation slightly though.
"megumi why are w-" you wanted to ask him but he interrupted you in the middle of your sentence by putting a hand over your mouth.

you gasped at the sudden movement of megumi but decided to trust him on this matter, although he still didnt move his hand from the lower part of your face.
he finally spotted what was bothering him and visibly relaxed, he motioned you and maki to look upwards. and there was a kyoto student on a broom, scouting from the air.
after finally taking his hand of your mouth, he started making his infamous nue handsign. the bird appeared in front of megumi and silently approached the scouting girl in mid air.
the girl had no clue what was happening but suddenly she felt the presence of something behind her. she looked over her shoulder and saw the nue bird with a few electric sparks coming from him.
"take her down." megumi shouted out towards the bird. the bird flapped its wings and the girl got send flying to the other side of the forest.
the 3 of you started running again towards the place that was in the middle of both schools. suddenly you saw a group of people when you looked to your side. it was almost as if they were mirroring you.
you wondered if it was a mirror but then noticed it were 4 people and not 3,and one of them had shiny blue hair. you realized it was the enemys team.
"megumi, maki, theyre here." you spoke while still running besides you, they werent conscious of the fact that their enemy was still only a few meters away.
after maki gave you a nod of permission, you rushed through the other side to break their formation.
you focused your technique in your legs, just enough cursed energy flowing through them for 2 shots. you leaned forward and launched yourself towards the front of the group of the kyoto students.
standing in front of them in the blink of an eye, you stomped on the ground and let the earth shake beneath your feet. you shockwaved the territory just enough to make a mai and miwa lose their balance.
they fell to the ground and you took this chance to make mai stand still. megumi took kamo on and mai started fighting miwa, who unfortunately was on her feet again.
megumi immediately confronted them. "you guys are planning on killing itadori, huh?" he frowned while taking kamo on, kamo tried to defend himself by putting his bow in front of him but megumi grabbed it.
kamo didnt flinch, he had expected it already. "and what if we are?" he responded calmly. kamo just basically revealed the entire plan and you scoffed.
"you failed then, yuuji wouldnt go down in such a short time." you spoke while still holding mai down on the floor with a single foot.
of course she could overpower you and stand up easily but she wouldnt know whenever you would activate your technique again, the last thing she wanted was her insides getting rearranged by a shockwave.
"we dont have any reason to kill him." kamo spoke up once again. megumi then argued with him, "the higher ups have plenty." he said while taking two small spears from his back and standing in a fighting position.
you took this as a sign that you guys would fight soon and let mai stand up to make it fair. "lets get this over with." you said while standing in your usual fighting pose.

The Shape of Home
The world of Alvelotyl is one of fantasy, one filled with many races, an expansive magic system exploring themes of identity, some LitRPG elements, moral ambiguity and no small amount of magical inventions similar to those in our world. Dragons with blogs showing off their hoards of treasure live alongside [Hunters] chasing Giant Toads, or [Bandits] using rifles charged with Fire Magic. The Shape of Home is a story within this world, and follows the exploits of Yuri Scalesmith, a budding Lizardfolk adventurer from a small country town with a knack for inventing, and how her life drastically changes after she’s taken from home forever following a single catastrophic event. After being taken from her previously normal life, Yuri is thrust into a world of sprawling streets, magically mutated monsters, and a crime war for territory stretching across an entire city. The Shape of Home normally updates every Tuesday and Saturday at 6PM GMT, but I'm trying out different upload times to see how people react and attract others in differing timezones. There will be two week long breaks after each story arc's Interlude. This story is also a participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge!

The life of a teenage hellworlder
We've all heard of the trope that Earth is a deadly planet by galactic standard; and has thus honed humanity into a ruthless species bent on surviving at all costs. As it turns out, that trope is true. Sapient species that evolve on safe planets develop to be peaceful and compassionate - and the ones that do on dangerous ones become violent and selfish out of need - usually wiping themselves out. But obviously, not every violent species drives itself to extinction - resulting in them being feared and ostracized - including humans. The life of a teenage hellworlder is a sci-fi slice of life story that revolves mainly around Thomas, a sixteen-year-old New Britannian attending a Xeno high school, who befriends a lonely apex predator named Javqua. Getting written by two amateur teen writers, things may sometimes be inconsistent or be confusing - feel free to comment and point out these problems. Gore, profanity, and traumatizing content tags are only for minor events in the story and do not happen often. Chapters are around 1k - 2k words - pretty short, but that's because we're all busy with our own lives and school. Trust us - we would gladly upload 5k word chapters if we could. We tend to upload new chapters every Saturday or Sunday. Please consider supporting us on Patreon!

Grin the Cheat
There was a time when heroes roamed between the Four Great Cities. They fought for kingdoms and princesses and they lived and died by their valour. Or so the stories say. The way the minstrels sing it, everyone had a swashbuckling good time. Nowadays, buckles are rarely swashed. All the great beasts have been slain, all the great treasures unearthed. Princesses are few and far between — the ones worth fighting over, anyway — and the kingdoms have been divvied up between the sons of sons of sons of the heroes of old. No valour required. Frankly, the hero business is in a sorry state. Luckily for Grin the Cheat, thieving and murder are thriving as usual. If you have a moment, please vote for this story at Top Web Fiction. They'll need to support and encourage eachother if they want to survive. Check out the Discord! Note: This is my first work of fiction, and as such, there will almost certainly be issues with pacing, grammar, the writing as a whole, and the story as a whole. If I reach a suitable point to pause the story, I will most likely do a complete rewrite as a separate RR posting. If you have any suggestions, feel free to post them here or in the discord. Thank you for reading!

Mary Susan Oceanrunner and the Brutus Saint's Academy
Join Mary Susan Oceanrunner on her quest to do... erm... something really important for the world... probably... Ahem. Long gone are the days when every hero could do whatever they wanted - now, we are civilised. We have government. Law. And proper forms. Lots of proper forms. (Final episode 25/07/2022. Also - beta readers far into the book rate the 'gore' degree as below 2/10, so the warning is a bit much) Mary Susan Oceanrunner is a poor girl from the orphanage, who like many others before, has to fulfil her destiny. The prophecy had been told, and she is the only one who can make things right. Erm... probably. Anyway, she can't just go and kill monsters like in the middle ages. First, she must apply for the appropriate permissions, fill the forms, learn about the proper loot taxations... Hey, no one said adventuring would be easy, right? Disclaimers: No claim made by any character by the book should be treated as the author's or anyone else's opinion on any subject. Most likely, it was just the funniest thing the Author could think of at the time of writing. This book contains many references to other works. It will probably be best enjoyed by individuals familiar with at least some of the following: 1) Computer games2) Fantasy in general3) Science fiction4) Tabletop RPGs5) Conspiracy theories6) Corporation work life7) Long forgotten prophecies uttered millennia ago in almost as forgotten languages under a starless night three dusks before the great convergence8) Filling any government-mandated form9) School10) EnglishMy ultimate goal is to make as many people experience something akin to joy while reading (think ~a bit louder exhale through the nose). It doesn't mean every scene will be funny or joyful because that's not how this stuff works. I can neither confirm nor deny having any other hidden agenda outside of that.
