Jamari Taylor
Age : 22
Houston , Texas
The next day....
"Baby I'm pulling up the school now." I chuckled.
"Okay, make sure you ask her teacher how many today." Reagan said for the 100th time.
"Okay Ray." I replied.
"I love you, see you in a minute." I added on.
"I love you too." She replied.
We finally got off the phone so I could go check Raelyn out. Every since we found out about her seizures we have been extra cautious. Like her doctor said, she has around ten a day.
We decided to keep her in daycare, and while her teacher knows about her condition she knows to watch Raelyn very tensely.
I jogged in the building since it was freezing cold outside—leaving the car on, and jogged to Fat Fat class.
I knew she was probably still sleep since they have nap time at the end of the day.
"Good evening Mr.Taylor." Rae's teacher Kelsey said.
"Wassup..how did she do today?" I asked quietly since the kids were still sleep.
"I counted four..each 30 seconds long." She replied.
"Did you write it down?" I asked.
"Yes sir..it's in her bookbag, she also didn't have a big appetite today so she only ate the fruit cup and veggie straws."
"Ok." I nodded making a mental note to feed her when she wakes up.
Kelsey handed me her bookbag and her lunch box. Afterwards I walked over to Raelyn as she laid on her cot with her fingers in her mouth and her butt in the air.
I chuckled and bent down to scoop her up in my arms.
I put her puffer coat over her body so she wouldn't be cold when we left the building.
As I started walking Rae starting whining and squirming around.
"Sssh, it's me Fat." I whispered playing with her ear.
"See you guys next week." Kelsey waved.
"Ight." I nodded.
Kelsey was a nice li teacher, she had researched the absence seizures as soon as we had a conference with her, and she loved her some Raelyn. She was just so giddy and happy.

I quickly buckled Raelyn up in her seat and jogged around to the drivers side.
I blasted the heat so we both could warm up. I did not need neither one of us getting sick.
Next stop was picking up badass from school. His practice was cancelled today because of how cold it was.
Ja'Seem actually got really good in basketball. I was surprised because at first I thought he was joking, but when his coach told us that he was point guard I knew Seem was taking it serious.
I occasionally looked in the rearview mirror to check on Raelyn to make sure she was okay.
After finally getting to Ja'Seem school I still had to sit in that long ass car pool line. I made sure his name tag was in the window so the teacher could see it.
Fifteen minutes later I was finally at the front of the line. I spotted Ja'Seem mean mugging as the cars passed by.
When him and his teacher saw the car he hopped in the front seat.
"Have a nice weekend Mr.Taylors." His teacher waved.
I nodded as Ja'Seem bucked at her.
"Why it's so cold mane?" Seem groaned putting his seat belt on.
"Ask frosty..anyways we finna go pick up your mama from the shop, then take our ass home." I said.
"Where FatFat?" He frowned.
"Nigga she in the backseat sleep." I chuckled.
"Oh I'm finna get back there with her." He grinned.
I shook my head and slowed down so he could climb to the back seat.
"You in a seatbelt?" I asked speeding back up.
"Yea nigga, now be quiet for you wake her up." He mugged.
I turned the music up a little bit and headed to the hair shop to pick up Reagan.

"Mannn mama need to hurry up." Ja'Seem groaned
Reagan said she was coming out twenty minutes ago and yet she was still in the shop.
On top of that Raelyn had just woke up and she was whining.
Ray 😍💍
Baby can you please come on it's cold, and FatFat just woke up

I'm coming
She finally came out thirty minutes after the message.
"Hey my babies." She cheesed looking at all of us.
We all gave her a blank stare, because she knew she was wrong.
She smacked her lips and faced forward."I wasn't even in there for that long."
"Ma you kept saying you was finna come and added thirty more minutes." Ja'Seem sighed
"Y'all over exaggerating, and I see y'all didn't miss me like I missed y'all." I frowned.
"We did miss you, we just cold." Ja'Seem shrugged.
"Bae you cooking?" She asked me.
"Yea, I'll cook but it's gone be some quick like tacos or some." I nodded.
"That's fine." She replied.
"Where Ny and Kam?" She asked.
"They better be at the house, they had online today." I said.
"FatFat staring at the seat." Ja'Seem mumbled.
I glanced in my rearview mirror as Reagan turned around to the backseat.
Raelyn was staring at the back of my seat without blinking or anything.
Reagan started her timer on her phone and watched to see when the absence seizure would end.
I quickly sped the car up so we could get home quicker.
Twenty seconds later and the seizure had passed resulting in Raelyn crying.
"Awww I know baby, it's okay." Reagan pouted.
"How long was it?" I asked.
"30 seconds."
I nodded my head and made a mental note to write it down when we got home.
"Ma Maaaaa." Raelyn cried reaching for Reagan.
"We almost home baby." Reagan sighed holding FatFat hand.
I finally pulled up at the house and in the garage.
Reagan quickly jumped out the car and grabbed Raelyn from the backseat.
"I can get on the game?" Ja'Seem asked as we walked in the house.
"No you can go clean up that mess you made in the living room though." Reagan responded.
"Mcht ion never get to do nothing." He mumbled.
"What was said?" Reagan frowned.
"Nothing ma, I said yes ma'am." Ja'Seem mumbled.
I chuckled and plopped down on the couch.
"AYE NY AND KAM!" I yelled.
They both came downstairs typing on they phones.
"Who y'all texting?" I frowned.
"Kaydence" "Kailor" They both said at the same time.
Kambree then looked at me like she saw a ghost.
"Who is Kailor?" I frowned.
"Uh uh uh, h-he's my science partner." She nervously smiled.
"Mhm, let's talk about Kailor." I stated seriously.
"Mcht bubba don't do to much." Nyla rolled her eyes.
"Shut the hell up, cause I should slap yo dumb ass for that hickey on yo neck." I mugged.
"I-I—Just shut up and both of y'all sit down." I said interrupting her stuttering session.

New York's criminal underground uses couriers for similar reasons. This gives the hundreds of couriers in NYC steady work. After weeks of not finding a job while living with her aunt and cousin, Zoe turns to her slicing skills to steal credits from the Purity Church and turns to the mob so she can get a loan to pay for the internal secure storage space a courier needs and a frame for herself. After making an unlicensed run or two, Zoe finds employment with a transport company and truly starts her life as a courier. This story is a mix of light scifi, cyberpunk, slice of life, a dash of action, and a smidge of fantasy. Slicing is what hacking is called in this story. Credits are currency in this story.
