excuse mistakes
Kaydence Thomas
Age : 18
Houston , Texas
"Bruh Bruh, ma said help us with our homework and that they on the way." My little nine-year old brother told me.
"Alright I'll be there in a minute." I replied.
"Imma call you back Ny, you ok?" I asked looking directly at her.
"Yea Kay, call me when you bout to go to sleep." She replied.
"Aight." I responded.
After we exchanged a couple more words I hung up and went to the den to help my little brother and sister with their homework.
I loved spending as much time as I can with my siblings since my mom and dad is always at work. She works as a nurse—a pediatric. My dad has his own mechanic shop that booms service throughout all of Houston.
"Y'all go get a snack so we can get started." I told them.
They nodded and retrieved to the snack closet in the den. They came back with chips, cookies, and water. Our whole family loved water that's really all we drink.
"Aight Kay, let me see yours first, Lani let me see your folder." I stated.
I peeped that Lani pouted making me frown. "What's wrong?"
Her bottom lip quivered as she slid her folder to me. I opened her folder and took out her daily homework sheet, but her behavior form caught my eye as I seen her on red circle three days in a row.
"Wipe ya face." I said
She was crying silently so she wiped her face with the sleeves of her arm.
I looked at the form and read the reasons why she was on red. "So you be rolling your eyes and smacking your lips at your teacher?"
"Oooooo Lani." Kayden instigated.
"Shut up and do that math problem." I said.
"S-She didn't let me go outside to play." Kaylani sniffled.
"Because you and Layla want to act like y'all don't know how to stop talking during lessons." I stated.
"We wasn't the only ones talking." She mumbled.

"What I told you about that? We not followers and we don't compare ourselves. If they wanna talk let them but don't get in trouble tryna be like them." I stated.
"Tomorrow you gone apologize, and I'm not buying those JoJo bows either." I added on.
"Okay." She mumbled.
"You gone show mommy and daddy?" She asked.
"They gotta sign it so they gone see it either way it go." I shrugged.
Her eyes got watery again as she nodded her head.
I would've signed her behavior form, but last time I got caught. Our parents don't play when it comes down to being disrespectful so Kaylani knew she was in trouble.
"Go get yourself together and come back so you can do this work." I said to Lani.
She nodded her head and ran to the bathroom.
"And what I tell yo li ass bout picking with her?" I chuckled to Kayden.
"Cause she be laughing when I get in trouble, now it's my turn." He smirked.
"Li mean ass, what you need help on?" I asked.
"I got it right now, but I got a spelling test tomorrow so I need you to quiz me." He responded.
"Aight." I nodded.
Kaylani came back from the bathroom and sat back next to me.
"Hm, you gotta read this passage and answer the questions." I said.
She took the paper from me and started reading outloud.
"Uh Uh read in yo mind, cause the way you chopping yo words up aggravating." Kayden groaned.
"Leave me alone." Kaylani frowned bucking at him.
"I'm finna slap you." I mugged Kayden.
This nigga went out his day just to mess with her. He knew what to do to get under her skin and he made sure he never failed.
"Bru Bru what's this word?" Lani asked me.
"Sound it out." I said.
"Li-bra-rian, Librarian." She cheesed.
"Yup." I nodded.
Kaylani was actually supposed to be in kindergarten since she was five, but her placement test scores deemed that she was capable of first grade, so she was skipped up.

"Alright I'm ready for you to quiz me." Kayden said.
I nodded and picked up the flash cards.
—
"How was everybody's day?" My mom asked us as we all sat at the table.
"Good, we had graduation practice today." I smiled.
"My baby really bout to graduate." My mom cooed.
My face fell straight. "Ma I am not a baby."
"Boy yo ass forever my baby..anyways when you come back for internship?"
"Actually tomorrow after school." I nodded.
"Your coach excused you?" My dad asked.
"Yea, he said we just training tomorrow." I replied.
"Kayden what about your day?" My mom asked.
"I had a good day, that lunch be so nasty and you know you wrong for forgetting my lunch." He stated.
My mama bussed out laughing. "Boy I told yo ass to get the left overs, I was running late."
"I was so mad I just ate my chips, but then everybody wanna ask for some, and I was like the serving size say one not the whole fourth grade." Kayden sighed.
"What you made on that spelling test?" Our dad asked.
"Oh she switched it to tomorrow, bru bru quizzed me though." He shrugged.
"He only got two wrong." I said.
I peeped that Lani was being extra quiet then normal at the table.
"How was your day babygirl?" Our dad asked.
Kaylani was indeed a daddy's girl. In his eyes she did nothing wrong but when it came down to being disrespectful he did not play.
"I-I got on red." Lani said shakily.
My mom and dad's face got serious.
"Go get the folder." Our mom said.
Lani went and came back with her folder and bookbag.
They glanced over the paper and their faces instantly got into parent-mode.
"Oh so you showing yo ass?" Our dad asked.
Lani stood there playing with her fingers as tears streamed down her face.
"LOOK AT ME, AIN'T SHIT ON THE FLOOR." His voice boomed throughout the house.
"What I told you bout that attitude shit Kaylani?" Our mom asked.
"T-That it's not cute." Lani stuttered.
I had a soft spot for Lani so I felt bad for her. I hated to see her cry and I hated when she got in trouble. I knew she had to learn her lesson though.
"Just like this ass whooping aint finna be cute." Our dad nodded.
I snapped my head towards Kayden when I heard him laughing.
"N-No daddy, I-I don't want a whooping." Lani cried.
He ignored her and went back to eating his food.
"Go sit down Kaylani." Our mom sighed.
Instead of her going back to her chair next to mines she climbed into my lap.
"Br-Bruhhh Bruhhh." She cried.
"Kaydence put her down." Our dad said.
I sighed and sat her in her chair next to mines, slickly sliding it over closer to me.
We continued eating our food as Lani's sniffles were being heard throughout the rest of dinner.
After about twenty more minutes we was finally done.
"Let's go Kaylani." Our dad stated.
Lani bussed out crying for the third time since she been home and slowly followed behind our dad.
Next thing you know all we heard was a belt and Lani's cries.
I sighed and went to the backyard to facetime Nyla.
I could not hear Lani getting a whooping shit do some to me.

Please Note this is my first attempt at a litRPG. I also ask that you keep an open mind as I will be diverging, in my own way, from many of the litRPG stories I have read. For those of you who missed it, this is a Multiple Lead Characters story, hence the tag. I should also mention that this will get crunchy as far as numbers go and please pay attention to the Profanity tag.
8 253Meg The Heavenly Merchant
Updates once a week.(This is a rough draft) Author's Note: This story has grown in ways I did not predict and while it still features a merchant those aspects have gotten less page time than the fighting and romance elements. I have updated the description to represent the story better) For the past fourteen years Meg has dedicated herself to walking the path of a Heavenly Dragon Knight in her favorite videogame, Tattered Realms:Chaos Age. But now the game is shutting down and everyone wants to know what she plans to do for the sequel. Meg isn't sure at first. She knows only that she yearns for the days when she could lose herself in a game without worrying about boss strategies and crushing her rivals. And when her friend suggests playing a merchant her heart is filled with the same wanderlust and inspiration that launched her gaming career in the first place. But if she isn't dominating dungeons and setting records will people still watch her play? And can she really walk away from all the fighting for a quiet life of buying and selling?
