"No FatFat you gotta stay with me." I groaned now picking her up.
"BoBo I go play." She pointed laying her head on my shoulder.
"Okay but I gottta watch you." I sighed walking us over to the swings.
My ma and da was inside the gym while we were at the outside playground next to it for kids.
"Wanna get on the swing?" I asked Raelyn.
She nodded her head and put her fingers in her mouth.
I struggled to put her in the swing but once I got her in there I buckled her in and made sure she wouldn't fall out.
"BoBo I go high." Raelyn giggled swinging her legs.
I pushed her softly watching to make sure nobody came near us.
My da always told me to protect myself and FatFat or he was gone beat my ass.
"BoBo high high." Raelyn shouted.
I pushed her higher and higher watching as she giggled away.
When she got tired of the swings we played on the slides. seasaw, and now I was helping her on the monkey bars.
As I was helping Rae move across the bars I felt somebody watching us.
I kept looking but I never saw anyone so I just shrugged it off.
"Down BoBo" Raelyn whined releasing her arms.
Since I was holding her legs up I caught her. "FatFat Im tired."
"I want da da." She said holding my neck.
I nodded and thanked God. As we were walking towards the gym some lady stopped us.
"Awww you guys are so adorable." The dark skinned lady said.
"BoBo da da." Raelyn whined looking away from the lady burying her head in my neck.
"Preciate it." I mumbled trying to walk around her.
Instead of her moving she blocked my path.
"Lady move out my way." I mugged.
"You look just like my son...his name was Ja'Seem."
"Well what you telling me fa, ain yo damn son so get out my face." I mugged now irrritated.
"Sweetie...you may not remember me I'm your mom Ja'Saya and your dad name is Jamari."

My jaw dropped and I felt my face getting wet.
"DA DA!" Raelyn shouted.
Next thing you know ma and da came out of the gym and started walking towards us.
"AYE GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM MY KIDS!" I heard my da yell.
The lady just smiled and stood next to us.
I still felt tears in my eyes and it was getting harder for me to see.
"Seem what she say? Baby C'mere" My ma said.
I couldn't move though, it's like I was glued to the ground.
I felt Raelyn being lifted from my arms.
"Baby look at me." My ma said softly bending down to my level.
I heard my da and the lady arguing but I was still trying to process what the lady had said.
"Seem look at me baby, I'm right here." My ma said cupping my face.
I finally snapped out of my thoughts and hugged her neck.
I started crying not because I was sad, I was just mad and I wanted to hit something.
"BITCH HE NOT YO SON!" My da yelled.
"Whatever Jamari, I want my son back so expect to get
some court papers." The lady shrugged walking off.
I cried harder in my mama's arms when I heard what the lady said.
"M-Mama." I said.
"Sssh, don't listen to her. You're not going anywhere." She replied.

"He good?" Jamari asked me.
"Yea he sleep now, I just put Rae down for a nap too." I sighed.
He nodded his head and ran his hands down his face.
"Baby, you know she won't even have the chance of getting Seem." I said straddling his lap.
He pecked my lips and rested his arms on my waist. "I know mama, and you know ion hate nobody but I really hate that girl."
"Lol that's your baby mama." I smirked.
He smacked his lips and tried to push me off.
"Nooo baby, I was just playing." I whined as he still tried to remove me from his lap.
"Real shit, that girl bet not say shit to my son. From now on they ain't going to no playground or nowhere unless one of us is there." He said seriously.

"Okay papa." I nodded.
"We should get a lawyer just in case she wants to have a custody battle." I added on.
"Yea, mama said she gone send me the number to the lawyer she used for her and Nyla dad battle." He sighed.
I could tell that this was really taking a toll on him and I honestly felt so bad.
"Papa talk to me, tell me what's on your mind." I said
He sighed and started rubbing small circles on my back as I sat on him.
"Ion really know, shid I'm just mad. Shit opened up old wounds and I feel like it's taking me back to the night she left Seem. She left my son at the hospital in the bathroom. I constantly asked Ja'Saya was she pregnant because I knew it was a possibility that she was. Ion even know why she telling people we was high school sweethearts cause we wasn't. We met at a damn party and she was drunk off ha ass. Me being younger then her I'm just following her upstairs cause she wanted to show me some. Ja'Saya two years older than me. I was fifteen and she was seventeen. Ian know what I was doing so she basically did everything. Even though ain know what I was doing, I knew what to pull out mean. She locked her legs around me so I couldn't. I constantly asked Ja'Saya was she pregnant. But she kept telling me no. After that party we started talking more, she kept telling me how she loved me all that shit, but I was still scared at the thought of having a baby. Then she just disappeared for like eight months. I aint know shit until they called my mama saying that I had a baby. I blew Ja'Saya phone up but she blocked me and just went off the map. That shit hurted me. Saya was my first everything and I regret that shit. The only blessing that came from her was my son. My mama said I needed to man up and take care of my responsibilities so that's what I did. Mama helped me raise Ja'Seem but when I graduated I started getting the hang of it so I moved out and started my own life. Yea being in the streets wasn't the right way to go, but it took care of me and my son."
Jamari wiped under his eyes and sniffled biting down on his lip.
"Baby, it's okay to cry." I said.
He shook his head and scoffed. "That bitch don't deserve my tears."
I chuckled at his stubbornness. "She don't but, it'll help get you some closure."
"Mhm, she ain't taking my son though, I'll kill for mines." He stated looking in my eyes.
I smirked and leaned down to kiss him. "Period onna selfish hoe."
He started moving me up and down on him while we continued to kiss.
"I love you mama, ain't nobody finna break up our family." Jamari said.
"I love you too Mari." I blushed.
"We made a bond from the very beginning, I found my homie and my best friend." He smiled grabbing my neck and looking in my eyes.
"Imma be there for ya till the very end.
" I sung inches away from his lips.
"" He sung back kissing me passionately.
