"Raelyn you like your room?" I smiled.

She nodded jumping up and down on the bed. "ROOM!"

"Okay get down." I chuckled grabbing her.

"Maid Maid!" She squealed pointing at the wall.

"Yes mermaid." I giggled.

We could have been moved in but we had to wait until Raelyn's room was perfect. I took it upon myself to get her walls turned into a mural. Basically it was a 'under the sea' theme. So the walls were ocean-like with fishes. Then there was Ariel the Mermaid next to the underwater castle.

I really wanted to go all out for my baby, because she deserves it. It was pretty pricey to have her room done but I didn't care, it was all worth it because Raelyn has been smiling and in her room all day.

"Fish." She pointed.

"Yup that's a fish." I nodded.

"Neno?" She giggled.

She was actually trying to say Nemo. "Yes that's Nemo."

She nodded and jumped off me and ran to her toy bin.

"I'll be right out here." I said standing in her doorway.

I smiled watching as she played with her mermaid doll and her other toys.

I was glad that I already unpacked everything before the people came and did the walls. I figured today could be the day to look for some daycares for Raelyn.

I hated the idea of sending her to a daycare but it was my last resort and plus I wanted Raelyn to start being with more kids her age.

Nyla is concentrated on school, Alexis is always at the shop, Ms.Taylor is just always somewhere, and Jamari is always at the trap.

I sat on my new comfortable couch and folded my legs under me.

I wasn't going to just send Raelyn anywhere. I needed to take a tour, view reviews, their ranks, and I needed to see all of their employees down to the janitor. I wanted to make sure that I knew everybody in the building.

"Mommy pee pee." Raelyn said running to me.

"Go use the bathroom." I sighed.

"No no bad man." She whined squirming around.

Every since Ja'Seem told Raelyn that, she won't use the bathroom by herself.

"I was just getting comfortable." I mumbled to myself.

After I sat her on the toilet I kept scrolling on my phone looking for the right child care center.

"Raelyn you ready for daycare?" I asked watching her swing her legs back and forth.

"Bobo?" She asked.

"Girl ain say none bout no damn Bobo." I laughed.

"I done." She stated.

I quickly wiped her and then flushed the toilet. After we washed our hands I went back to the living room as she went back to her room.

I wasn't expecting a message from him so I was a bit nervous. I haven't seen him since that night at Alexis house. I bit down on my bottom lip and texted back.

"RAELYN!" I yelled.

Seconds later her she ran and jumped on me.

"You wanna see your daddy?" I asked.

"DA DA!" She smiled looking around.

"C'mon let's go put a jacket on." I said.

"No, da da." She mugged looking around.

"He not here girl, we bout to go see him and BoBo." I sighed.

"BOBO!" She squealed.

I shook my head and went to the front closet to get our matching nike hoodies.

"C'mon lil girl." I said a little loud.

After I put our jacket and slides on I locked the door and put Raelyn on my hip.

We took the elevator to the parking garage and got in the car.

"Don't unbuckle that seat belt or imma pop you." I said looking at Rae through the rearview.

"I not mess it up." She smiled innocently.

Starting the car I pulled out of the parking garage and made my way to Jamari's house.

Jamari Taylor

Age : 22

Houston, Texas

"DA DA!" I heard a tiny voice yell followed by little feet.

I grinned and threw my controller to the side.

"DA DA!" Raelyn cheesed running in my arms.

"Heyyy babygirl, I missed you so much." I smiled hugging her tightly.

"Maid Maid woom." She giggled holding my face.

"Hm?" I frowned.

"She's said mermaid room, she talking about her new room." Reagan stated.

I looked at her and took in her appearance. She had on some furry like pants with a white crop top and pink ugg's boots. Her face had a natural glow and her skin was shining.

"Da da down." Raelyn whined squirming to get out of my arms.

I happily put her down as she ran off somewhere in the house.

"You look good as hell." I complimented.

Reagan looked down and blushed. "T-Thanks."

"Why you standing over there? Sit down." I stated.

She chuckled and sat on the opposite end of the couch.

"Where Seem?" She softly asked.

"Sleep." I shrugged.

She nodded her head and started playing with her fingers. About 3 minutes of silence had passed until she finally spoke.

"W-Why'd you do it?" She asked.

I bit down on my lip and sat up so that my elbows were now on my knees. "I don't know, I'm not gone sit here and make a excuse for my actions because nothing justifies what I did. I take full responsibility, I honestly was just in the moment of stress. She was there at the club and she kept rubbing on me. My dumb ass fell for temptation and let her get in my car. That was the biggest mistake and regret that I've made in life. I didn't realize what I was doing and I damn sure didn't know a camera was recording. I would never hurt you like that but I already did. I promised to treat you and Raelyn like the black queens y'all are but I failed miserably. When you found out I was angry, angry at her, myself, and at the world. I was angry that you found out that way, angry that I humiliated you, angry that social media laughed and trolled your page. I was angry that I broke up our family. Angry that I let a desperate bitch come between us. I said some things out of anger and it probably cut you deeper than my actual actions. I want you to know that I will never ever let that happen again. Every since I saw you at Mcdonald's I wanted you to be mine. You changed me for the better, you came in and fixed me. You mended my heart. And a big bonus is that you took in my son and treat him like blood. Reagan you're beautiful, smart, independent, goofy, and many more. Even though I would kill to have you back, I don't want you to rush into it. If you feel like we can't never be back on the level we were it would hurt me, but I would understand. You don't deserve what I put you through it. You deserve a real man who treats you like a queen and worship the ground you walk on. I really hope that we can work on us but I'm not pressuring anything. I'm sorry and I hope you can forgive me."

She sniffled and wiped her face. "Jamari you hurt me, you hurt me so badly. I felt so stupid and confused. I felt not good enough, I felt alone, I was heartbroken. I've never experienced real love and when you came and saved me and Raelyn you showed me what love is. But then you cheated on me, you broke your promise. I cried every day all day asking god why. I felt so ugly and stupid. And it's like no matter how many times I try to deny my theories my heart goes right back to them. D-Did you do it because w-we never had sex?" She asked.

I frowned and quickly shook my head. "No. Hell no. Fuck no. Reagan I don't want you for sex or your body. Yes it's a plus but that's not why I fell in love with you. I fell in love with your personality and your vibe. " I replied.

"I-I just feel like that's why you did it." She sniffled.

"Look at me." I sighed.

She steady looked down and played with her fingers.

"Look at me Reagan." I repeated.

"I CAN'T." She yelled breaking down.

"I can't look at you right now, it hurts to look at you. I just wish it never happened." She sobbed.

I sighed and pulled her into my chest. "It hurts mari, why did you do that to me?"

"I'm so fucking sorry baby, I swear to god I'm sorry." I whispered in her ear. I hugged her tightly as she cried.

She started shaking and I felt her chest start to move up and down fastly.

I noticed she was having a anxiety attack.

"Reagan look at me." I stated pulling her back.

Her body started trembling quicker and her eyes started to get weak.

"Reagan look at me, where's your inhaler?" I asked starting to panic.

She started wheezing and holding her chest.

"Baby where your inhaler?" I asked dumping her purse out.

She pointed outside. "C-Car."

"NYLA!" I shouted.

"What?" She yawned coming down the stairs.

"Stay with her right quick." I stated running to her car.

I snatched the door open and searched the glove department and arm rest but couldn't find it. Then something told me to look in the sunglasses visor.

To my luck her pink inhaler was sitting there. Quickly grabbing it, I ran back in the house to see Nyla trying to calm Reagan down.

"H-Here three pumps." I coached remembering what the doctor told us.

She took the inhaler and inhaled three breaths.

"Go get her some water." I told Nyla.

"3 more." I said again.

She repeated the routine twice more and she finally started to get her breathing back under control.

"Fuck." I whispered to myself wiping my face.

Nyla came back with the water bottle and excused herself from the room.

I watched closely as Reagan drunk the whole bottle and sighed. "M-my head hurts."

"Y'all can stay here for the night, I swear I won't even bother you. I'm just worried and I don't want you driving by yourself like this." I stated.

"W-we'll stay." She rasped out.

"I L you." I chuckled.

She gave me a small smile. "I L you too."

NYLA IS NOT GAY!!!! golly lol she will never be gay in my book,however; if you wanna picture her and Kambree together in your imagination you can. But in this book they will never be together. I'm not against gays/lesbians, it's just now what I have planned for the two of them.
