(1 month later..)

"REAGAN!!" Jamari shouted.

"COMING." Reagan yelled back.

Every since their parked car lunch date the two had been attached to the hip.

Jamari would pick her up for her lunch break and they would go out to eat. They were so comfortable with each other that they both knew everything there is to know about each other.

If you were to quiz them on each other both of them would pass. Jamari also knew everything about Raelyn too. From her favorite snacks , to what makes her go to sleep.

Reagan gathered her purse and Raelyn's bookbag and headed downstairs.

"Have you seen her blanket?" I asked looking around the living room.

"It's in the car, come on we already late." Jamari groaned.

"Where the kids?" Reagan frowned.

"Everybody in the car waiting for us." Jamari sighed.

"Ok, ok." Reagan mumbled.

Before Reagan could walk out the door Jamari grabbed her arm, turned her around and kissed her.

He took it upon himself to deepen the kiss and grabbed her neck. As soon as it was about to get heated somebody blew the horn.

They both pulled back and smirked.

"Get yo sexy ass in the car." Jamari said biting down on his lip.

Reagan blushed and walked out the door.

Jamari made sure everything was locked up and that he had his gun.

Once he got in the car he locked the doors and drove off to their destination.

Jamari was taking Reagan and Raelyn to meet his mom and Reagan was nervous.

She was scared to how his mom would look at her.

"Da, can FatFat eat these?" Ja'Seem asked referring to his strawberry sour patches.

Both of Reagan and Jamari looked back and Jamari pressed on breaks hard.

"NO!" Both of them yelled.

"Give me that damn candy." Jamari said snatching it out his son hands.

"What's wrong with my candy?" Ja'Seem frowned.

"She's allergic to strawberries." Reagan stated.

"I swear I didn't know." Ja'Seem said feeling guilty.

Ja'Seem himself grew attached to Raelyn. In his eyes she was his little sister and he already acted as her bodyguard.

"It's okay Seem, just remember she's allergic to strawberries and anything with the word peanut." Reagan smiled looking back at him.

"Yes ma'am." He nodded.

Jamari had started driving again occasionally glancing in the rearview mirror at his surroundings.

25 minutes later Jamari pulled up to his mom's two-story modern brick home driveway.

"I'm nervous." Reagan stated lowly.

Jamari killed the engine and looked at her.

"I promise you ain't got nothing to be nervous bout, she just ain't got no filter." He shrugged.

Reagan smacked her lips and shook her head.

"She probably think I'm only with you to use you or that I'm a hoe because I'm not with—Aye cut that shit out stop overthinking you gone be good." Jamari said cutting her off.

Reagan sighed and nodded her head.

Jamari leaned across the armrest and pecked her lips.

"Stop kissing my girl yo." Ja'Seem mugged.

"Get yo bad ass out my car." Jamari chuckled.

"Can I get FatFat?" Ja'Seem grinned.

"You sure you can hold her, especially since she sleep." Reagan asked.

"I got her." Ja'Seem shrugged.

Reagan nodded her head and helped him adjust Raelyn on his shoulder.

"Where her bag?" He asked.

"Yo li ass can't carry both." Jamari chuckled

"Mane give me my sister stuff so I can lay her down." Ja'Seem mugged.

Jamari chuckled and put Raelyn's bookbag on his other shoulder.

Reagan and Jamari watched as Ja'Seem patted a sleeping Raelyn's back while walking in the house.

"MAMA WE HERE" Jamari yelled.

"NIGGA DIDN'T I TELL YOU TO STOP YELLING IN MY SHIT." Ms. Taylor snapped walking towards him with a wooden spoon.

Jamari started backing up about to run. "Ma chill."

Ms.Taylor glared at him and then looked at Reagan.

"Ma this is Reagan my girlfriend, Ray this my mom Ms.Taylor."

Reagan stood with her heart racing hoping for the best.

"Girl give me a hug, you look nervous as hell for no reason." Ms.Taylor chuckled pulling Reagan in for a embrace.

"N-Nice to meet you. your home is beautiful." Reagan smiled hugging back.

"Thank you, call me mama or Ms.Taylor."

"Yes ma'am." Reagan nodded.

"Granny where can I lay my little sister?" Ja'Seem asked.

Ms.Taylor smiled and looked down at them. "Awww she's just the cutest ever."

"Move boy and give me her." She mugged trying to take Raelyn from him.

Ja'Seem jumped back and held Raelyn tighter. "Granny she sleep, you gone wake her up."

"Boy go put her in Nyla room and get out my face." She waved off walking away.

"You need help?" Reagan asked watching him struggle up the stairs.

"I got it. I'm built for stuff like this." He replied stumbling.

"You better not drop my baby trying to be built for shit." Jamari stated.

"I got it da."

"REAGAN BABY COME HELP ME SET THIS FOOD OUT." Ms. Taylor shouted.

"Come with me please." Reagan pouted turning to Jamari.

"Nah you got it mamas." Jamari smirked.

Reagan's jaw dropped in shock. She rolled her eyes and walked away in the direction of the kitchen.

"Granny I want moe." Arielle grinned.

"Oh me too." Ja'Seem agreed.

"Ion know why y'all telling me , y'all parents sitting right here." Ms.Taylor shrugged.

"Mcht now mama you know you can fix them some more." Alexis said.

"Ain't none wrong with y'all legs, anyways Reagan baby when my grand baby gone wake up?"

"She probably about to wake up soon." Reagan chuckled.

On cue they heard Raelyn crying.

As Reagan stood, Jamari stopped her. "I got her."

"Thank you." She smiled.

Ms.Taylor smiled at her son and Reagan and nodded to herself. She honestly thought that her son would never find love again after what Ja'Seem's mom did.

Jamari came back into the room with Raelyn. Her head was layed on his shoulder with her fingers in her mouth.

When she spotted her mother she lifted her head.

Jamari sat back down and turned Raelyn so that she would be facing the table.

"Aww look at my baby." Alexis cooed.

"Bae let's have another one." She smiled looking at Khalil.

"Oh we got a lot more to go." He nodded.

"Eat Eat." Raelyn pointed to the food.

"Here you can give her this chicken." Reagan said passing Mari her plate.

He nodded and held the chicken up for Raelyn to bite.

"So y'all really gone sit here and not introduce me to my grand baby?" Ms. Taylor mugged the table.

"See I knew I wasn't appreciated, when I die y'all gone regret this." She added on being dramatic.

Everybody at the table bussed out laughing because she was known for her dramatic acts.

"Ma it's not that serious." Nyla said.

"Shut yo ass up." She snapped.

"Mcht."

"It ain't like she gone let you hold her. She won't leave Bubba for nothing." Alexis shrugged.

"Give me my damn grand baby."

Jamari smirked and stood up.

He walked around the table and stopped in front of his mom.

He bent down and tried to put Raelyn in her lap. Like Alexis said Raelyn clung her legs tighter to his torso and started whining.

"Let me see her, you probably told her to do that." Ms. Taylor said.

Jamari bent down again this time letting his mom grab Raelyn.

Raelyn immediately started crying and squirming to try to go back with Jamari.

Jamari smirked and went back to sit down and watched the scene unfold.

"I told you, you spoil her to much." Reagan chuckled watching her daughter mug Ms. Taylor.

"Watch this." Jamari whispered to everybody at the table except his mom.

Jamari stood up and waved goodbye to everybody making sure to catch Raelyn's attention.

When she noticed what was happening she threw a full blown tantrum and started screaming reaching for Jamari.

"Uht Uht come get her." Ms. Taylor frowned putting Raelyn down.

Everybody bussed out laughing as Jamari went to pick Raelyn up.

As soon as she was in his arms her cries turned into sniffles and she calmed down.

"Just give her some time, she gone be begging to stay with me." Ms. Taylor nodded.

"Yea right." Alexis mumbled.

They continued eating and conversing about different things.
