"vanilla, really?" i asked him as he shrugged.
"strawberry's not that great either."
i gasped. i take pride in my strawberry. they were out of green tea, but STILL.
"you're rude." i said to him pouting.
"but you loooveee me."
for a second i froze, thinking that he had found out on my semi crush. or maybe full blown crush. but shh.. that part's confidential. then i realized he was joking... aish, this kid.
"you wish." i remarked.
"i do." he muttered, more to himself than me.
we sat down at a table and began talking. we talked about everything, from my dream of become a kpop idol, his of being a professional dancer, our families, and so much more. it felt like time stopped. after what felt like minutes, we were interrupted by the store manager.
"erm, excuse me, miss, mister, we need to close our store now. thank you for your business."
jimin and i looked at each other in surprise. it's that late? i checked my phone. 10:38 PM.
we apologized and thanked the man, bowing. we both left the parlor.
jimin looked at his feet. "i should get you home now. where do you live? i'll walk with you."
"oh no, you don't have to. i live close by"
jimin shook his head. "so, which direction?"
i sighed and turned to the right. he followed me and we began walking in silence, down the street. when we got to my house, i glanced up at him, and smiled a small smile.
"i had fun today." i whispered.
"me too..." he whispered back. his gaze trailed from my eyes, downward to my lips, but back up. it was so quick, it was like it didn't even happen.
before i could change my mind i stood up on my tippy toes, and gave him a peck on the cheek. his eyes widened in surprise, as i started walking backwards, up my front porch.
"good night, park jimin."
"good night, kim hyungi."
