I pull the blanket up over my head and close my eyes.
"Mommy, come on, it's like noon!" Darcy crawls around on the bed and shakes me.
"I'm tired baby girl, let me sleep." I grumble.
"Nope. Daddy said to wake you up." She protests pressing up against me. "So you need to wake up. Or else."
"Or else what?" I raise an eyebrow.
"I dunno, something." She shrugs.
"Babe, I told you not to down the whole bottle. You have to get up and adult today." Emmett says appearing in the doorway.
"But I don't wanna!" I whine.
"Alli, please don't do this." He groans.
"Just five more minutes." I mutter.
"Allison, come on. Spencer is on his way to get Darcy." He says sternly.
"Five minutes and I'll be up." I state.
"Five minutes, that's it." He sighs. "Darcy come on, you need to eat before you go."

I brush my hair and put it into a bun before sighing. I pull a hoodie over my head and walk out to the living room.
"Wow five minutes on the spot." Emmett scoffs. I smack his shoulder before we kiss.
"How close is Spencer?" I ask.
"Uncle Spencer is here!" Darcy calls out in reply.
"Ditto." Emmett smiles. I roll my eyes. "Keep doing that and they'll be stuck in the back of your head." I roll my eyes again then kiss him. I walk toward the door and open it as Spencer approaches.
"Jeez Allison, how much did you drink?" He asks.
"Hello uncle Spencer, it's nice to see you too. How have you been?" I reply sarcastically.
"No seriously, you look about what I did after Maevb." He states.

"I only drank a bottle." I shrug.
"Oh wow, looks like at least three." He scoffs.
"I can't handle as much as I used to."
"Clearly." He states. "Darcy do you have everything?"
"Yes." She nods.
"Even Bear Bear?" Spencer adds.
"No." She shakes her head. "I'll be back." She speeds off and comes back with Bear Bear. "Okay, I have everything."
"Are you sure?" I ask.
"Yup!" She replies giving me a hug. "See you later alligator."
"After a while, crocodile." I mess up her hair.
"Bye Daddy."
"See you later pumpkin." Emmett smiles
"Okay, let's go uncle Spencer." She grabs his hands. "Don't make me drag you, we all know I can."
"Darcy, a little girl without super strength could drag uncle Spencer." I say.
"Look who's talking!" Spencer scoffs.
"Do I have to drag you?" Darcy huffs.

"It's been a long time since I last saw you Alli, what's up?" Charlie greet.
"I need full custody of Darcy. She called at like eleven last night crying because Harper was all sorts of drunk and yelling at her. I will not let her go through half the shit I went through." I shake my head and sigh.
"You're eighteen, you already have full custody. That was the deal." He states.
"Thank God." I let my head hit the desk.
"Harper can't testify against it or take custody of Darcy without having a legitimate case she can prove."
"That's a huge relief, thank you so much Charlie." I lift my head.
"How are things with you and Emmett?" He asks quietly.
"We have our own place now, just outside town with a huge backyard. We're working on getting a swing set put up." I reply. "They still don't know about Darcy, we're waiting until after graduation to tell everyone."
"Well if you ever need anything, you know how to get ahold of me kiddo." We stand and hug.
"Thanks again Charlie."
"Anytime Alli."
