《Dusk // Twilight // Emmett Cullen [ON HOLD]》Flashback: Sophomore Year

I get out of bed and go back to the bathroom to throw up, like I have been all day. I skipped school, I'm too sick. I manage to get back onto my feet and flush the toilet. I open the cabinet behind my mirror in search of Zofran. My eyes scan over a box of tampons. Curiously, I grab it and find it to be unopened. I drop the box on the floor and rush to check my phone. An alert pops up, telling me that period is late. I put my phone down and press my back against the wall. I slide down until my butt hits the floor. My mind travels back to last week. I hit my head against the wall.
"Shit." I breathe running my hands through my hair. I pinch the bridge of my nose.
"You weren't at school?" Emmett speaks as he enters my window. My hand falls to my side as I look up.
"Didn't feel up for it. Dad told me to stay home." I shrug. He offers his hand and I take it. In one swift move, I'm back on my feet. He wraps his arms around my torso and gently kisses my forehead. I softly smile as I wrap my arms around him.
"What's wrong?" He asks pulling me back to study me.
"What do you mean?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"You're anxious, more so than normal. Your heart keeps faltering." He states. I shake my head before speaking.
"I'm fine." I say.
"Stop lying, and tell me what is wrong." He says sternly.
"Emmett, I'm fine." I state. "Nothing is wrong. I promise."
"Hmm, you promise," he holds out a pinky, "but do you pinky promise?" I shift and look at the ground.
"You can't just randomly ask someone with severe anxiety issues what's wrong. I mean something is always wrong, I have severe anxiety issues." I mumble. He places a hand under my chin and lifts my head.
"Bullshit. I know better than that. You're afraid to tell me something." He states. "Alli, if it's something that can hurt you, I need to know."
"You're going to think I'm crazy." I whisper turning away plopping down on the bed. I run my hands through my hair.
"Can't make me think you're anymore crazy than what I already do princess." He sits next me. I roll my eyes at his statement and he places a hand on my thigh. "If you keep doing that, your eyes are going to get stuck in your head."
"You say that all of the time." I scoff resting my head on his shoulder. He wraps his arm around me.
"That's because it's true." He states.
"Then why-"
"Oh, it'll happen eventually." He cuts me off. "It might days, weeks, months, years, centuries even, but it'll happen." I slightly laugh before curling in closer to him. "You aren't going to tell me are you?"

"I'm still trying to find the right way to word it." I shrug.
I'm pregnant.
Coming right out and saying it seems like the only reasonable way. Even though it's not exactly possible, but it is somehow, I guess.
"Just say it." He says. I take a deep breath.
"I'm pregnant." I state.
"This isn't exactly possible." He retorts.
"Well, obviously it is. Somehow." I say. "I mean unless I randomly hit menopause at age 16."
"Damn, tell me you're pregnant and you still give me attitude." He scoffs, making me laugh.
"Emmett, I love you." I smile. We kiss softly.
"I love you too, Allison." He says.

"Allison, you- you uh, you are gonna go stay with Harper for a while. It's your choice whether you continue school or not, but uh, yeah. Harper can help you out with everything a hell of a lot better than I can, and it's best if you live with her for the time being." Dad states. "You shouldn't be cleaning as much as you are either."
"Dad, it's fine. Besides if I'm not doing something I get extremely nauseous." I say sitting down on the couch.
"You'd think all those damned chemicals would make more sick than anything." He sits in his recliner.
"Yeah, I know." I scoff. He reaches into a drawer on the in table and throws a pack of skittles toward me. I catch them and smile. "How'd you know I was craving skittles?" I rip the bag open and pop a few in my mouth.
"I just know some things Alli." He shrugs. "You relax, I'll go finish the dishes." He gets up and walks to the kitchen.
"I'm gonna start getting my stuff together." I state getting off of the couch and walking upstairs. I grab duffle bags from my closet and grab large shirts that I can wear for a long time. I put all the shirts into one bag and search for compression shorts. I add sweatpants, leggings, and shorts to the bag. I grab another bag and throw in bras and underwear before zipping all of the bags up. I remain sitting in a straddle on the floor and grab my phone.
"What are you doing on the floor?" Emmett asks walking toward me.
"Packing, enjoying my flexibility while I still have it." I reply.
"Why are you packing?" He sits across from me.
"Dad said he's sending me to live with Harper, he says it's because she can help out better than what he can, but we all know the real reason." I state. "At least her place is one story, you won't have to put in so much effort to get through the window."
"Maybe I like jumping through second story windows." He scoffs. I roll my eyes at him. "If you keep-"

"Yeah, yeah, tell it to the birds." I grumble.

Seven Months Later...
I walk down the hall and stand looking into the dining room. I place a hand on my stomach and listen to the conversation.
"She told me she wanted to continue school, but that could change after she has the baby." Harper states.
"If her mind does change, or if she so chooses, she stays here." Charlie says.
"No, she can leave that damned baby here until she's eighteen. I don't give a shit whether she likes it or not." Dad snaps.
"David, it's her child, you can't just rip them away from each other." Charlie states.
"I can do whatever I want until Allison is eighteen." Dad raises his voice and I step back slightly, placing my other hand on the baby.
"Actually, she shouldn't even be living with you. Heather put Spencer as her legal guardian, it was in her will." Harper snaps. "So it isn't up to you, it's up to Spencer and Allison, and the child's father. You don't have a say in this David."
"She's my damn daughter and that will be my grandchild, therefore I do get a say in this." Dad slams his hands against the table and I flinch.
"Calm down, she's just in the other room. If her blood pressure gets too high it could send her into labor early or even kill baby, possibly her too." Harper grumbles.
"Well good then we wouldn't have to be here in the first place!" He yells. I squeeze my eyes shut and take a deep breath. I gently rub my belly before sitting down on the bench.
"David, that is enough!" Charlie says sternly. "I'll call Spencer and get his opinion on it. Then we'll discuss things further. I was going to talk with Allison about this, but it'll have to wait."
"Spencer is coming in Monday, if you'd rather speak to him in person." Harper states.
"Then I'll be back Tuesday to speak with him." Charlie says. "David it's best you be on your way as well."
"Don't tell me what's best for me dammit!" Dad booms before leaving from the kitchen.
"I'll see you all Tuesday around 3:30." Charlie says before leaving. Harper walks toward the hallway and stops when she sees me.
"Honey, how long have you been here?" She asks crouching in front of me.
"Long enough to hear most of that meeting." I reply.
"Oh, baby, I'm so sorry you had to hear all of that. Come on, let's get you to the couch or somewhere comfortable." She coos.
"Actually, I kind of just wanna go take a nap." I state rubbing my arm.
"Of course." She nods. "Come on." She helps me up and walks me to my room. I sit down on the bed and put my hand back on my stomach. "Are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." I nod before taking a deep breath.
"Do you want me to call Emmett?" She tucks hair that fell from my bun behind my ear. I nod. "That was a stupid question, what teenage girl wouldn't want to see her boyfriend, and baby daddy now I guess."
"Tell him to bring me skittles and cupcakes. And if he doesn't, I'll rip his head off." I smirk.
"Will do. You just take it easy." She says.
"Oh, and if you would make me a cup of mint tea, it'd be greatly appreciated." I wink. "Just saying."
"Of course your highness." She curtsies with a smirk before walking out of the room. I laugh at her remark before grabbing the laptop beside me and leaning against a massive wall of pillows. I log into Netflix and find a Disney movie to watch before gently rubbing where the baby is pressed up against my side. "Your tea, my liege." Harper waves a hand around the cup in her hand before placing it on the nightstand.
"Ah, thank you my dearest peasant." I scoff.
"Emmett is on his way." She smiles before bowing and leaving.
"Be gone you peasant." I yell after her.

Three Months Later...
I roll over and pull the blanket up over my head. I hear the door open and lift my head up.
"Emmett?" I furrow my eyebrows.
"Hey princess." He smiles closing the door. He sits beside me and put my head in his lap. "How are you feeling?"
"Exhausted. JJ and Garcia went back to Quantico, and Harper is at work so I haven't gotten much sleep." I reply tucking the blanket under my chin.
"You know, I never even got a text until yesterday." He says, I can hear the smirk in his voice.
"Well, excuse me for being in labor for thirteen damn hours, then either sleeping or dealing with baby for two fucking days. I'll gladly text you while I'm in excruciating pain or trying to sleep." I snap.
"Damn, half asleep and still giving me attitude." He scoffs. A noise comes from the crib and I groan.
"Your turn." I state sitting up. He kisses my forehead before walking to the crib.
"Hi beautiful." He smiles before picking her up. Darcy stops crying instantly and falls back asleep. Emmett carries her back and sits beside me. I lay against him as he cradles the baby in his arms. I smile softly before kissing his shoulder.
"I love you." I mumble.
"I love you too, babe." He says before we kiss.
