I sigh and plop down on the bed before grabbing my book. I look at the cover and clench my jaw. I take a deep breath and look at the ceiling. I look back at the book before throwing it across the room. Emmett grabs the book and sets it on the shelf.
"The son of a bitch ruined that book for me." I grumble. Emmett walks over and sits beside me. "And possibly reading all together." He wraps his arms around me and I sigh.
"That'll change eventually." He says softly.
"Does that count as not being completely tame?" I ask.
"Not really. Any other newborn would've thrown the book, set it on fire, then ripped someone's head off, then set them on fire, and gone on a rampage killing everything with a heartbeat." He replies.
"Damn, well I guess I'm just a hell of a lot more calm than every other newborn." I smirk.
"You have a lot more control too. Even vampires that are centuries old still have trouble walking away from human blood sometimes." He states. The sun lightly hits my skin and I smile.
"You know this puts so much irony into my cheer shirts." I state holding my hand out in the sun. "Because now I literally sparkle." He laughs before lightly kissing my temple. I catch a glimpse of Alice, Jasper, and Esme running through.
"Come on, I have something to show you." He says getting up. I groan before getting up and following him downstairs. Alice tosses something to Emmett and he catches it with one hand. I continue to follow Emmett, with no idea where he's taking me. "Do you trust me?" He asks.

"Haven't had a reason not to." I shrug. He takes my hand in his.
"Close your eyes." I do as I'm told and he leads me through the woods.
"Why do I get the feeling that you're probably going to lead me right into a tree?" I mutter to myself.
"I won't, I promise." He says. "I've had the chance to like seven times already. It's tempting honestly, but I'm not going to."
"I'm having a hard time believing you." I state.
"I'd carry you, but it would ruin the effect of the surprise." He retorts. I groan but continue to follow him. "Hey look, a tree." He says gently shoving my shoulder then wrapping an arm around me pulling me back toward him. "That's not breaking my promise because I caught you." I open my eyes and glare at him.
"I hate you sometimes, you know that right?" I cross my arms. He smiles before kissing my cheek.
"Of course." He smirks. "Look to your right." I turn my head and furrow my eyebrows slightly. "Happy birthday."
"Something tells me that this was an extreme group effort." I say.
"Somewhat." He nods. I roll my eyes. "If you keeping doing that, your eyes are going to get stuck in your head."
"Nah." I slightly shake my head. He rolls his eyes before unlocking the door and pushing it open. He scoops me up in his arms bridal style and I yell out slightly. He slightly chuckles while he carries me inside. "Was that necessary!?!" I exclaim as he sets me down.
"Totally." He smirks before closing the door with his heel. "Come on, I'll show you around." He grabs my hand and leads me down a hallway. He slowly opens a door. "Don't worry, they still don't know. I did this myself." He says squeezing my hand. I drop his hand and walk around the pale pink room. A twin size bed with pink and purple sheets, a princess canopy over it. The other part had a small book case and there was a dresser by the closet. I smile.

"Once I'm done with school, you can stay with me forever. I promise."
I turn around and smile at Emmett. I take both of my hands in his and we lightly kiss.
"Just a few more weeks." He says.
"Nineteen days, actually. I've been counting." I state. He lightly chuckles and kisses my temple. "Come on, I wanna see the rest of the house."
"Okay." He leads me throughout the rest of the house, telling me who helped where and with what. Most of the upstairs was a library, there was a bathroom and a study up there too, but that was it. "And last, but not least." He opens one more door and pushes it open. "Our room. Alice took over the closet, I think Rosalie took part in it too, but you know Alice."
"At least she kept most of my stuff instead of turning me into another version of her." I shrug.
"I wouldn't let her. You're mine and I don't want you to change like that." He states wrapping his arms around me from behind. I spin around in his arms and latch my hands behind his neck. We kiss and his arms slightly tighten around me. I move and slide my hands under his shirt. He throws it off over his head and I throw mine off as well. He lifts me up and my legs wrap around his waist as our lips meet again.

"This isn't exactly possible."
"Well, obviously it is. Somehow."

"Listen you jerk, I wouldn't have even touched you if I wasn't drunk." I bit out furiously. "Even if you were the last man on earth I wouldn't go near you.""Is that so?" His voice was dangerously low."Besides I thought you were my fiancé. That was the only reason why I kissed you." I lied hoping my face didn't betray me.His eyes darkened and a muscle jumped on his jaw. He started walking towards me and I took a step back. Then another step and another until my back hit the wall. He was so close I could smell the cologne he wore.Fear trickled down my spine as I stared at his furious face. He looked as if he wanted to punch something. Or someone."What..what are you doing?" I stammered pressing my body further into the wall."Calling your bluff."His hand wrapped around my nape and pulled me against him. My eyes widened in shock as our bodies touched. Before I could say or do anything his mouth came crashing down on me.
