"I'm not even sure she is a newborn, she's too tame." Jasper says crossing his arms.
"Just because I'm not trying to kill everything with a heart beat within a five hundred mile radius doesn't mean anything other than I learned control faster than normal." I state.
"No, you are unusually calm for not even being awake forty eight hours." Emmett comments.
"Honestly, I'm surprised you haven't gone on a killing spree yet, or even at least tried to." Carlisle chimes in. "Typically, you'd be burning off steam by causing massacres or simply creating mass genocides."
"Well, you already seem to be in a big enough predicament with the Volturi, me going on a killing spree is probably the last thing we need." I retort. "Besides, I've always preferred to suffer in silence rather than retaliate. It's how I managed to survive for so long on my own."
"Is no one else viewing this as a good thing?" Alice asks. "I mean she walked away from human blood on her own without having hunted at all, and she's staying generally calm."
"They're not viewing it as a good thing because psychology, most people tend to wait before they lash out and retaliate. But thinking in terms of criminology, me being calm is a good thing, the more time between kills means that the unsub is less likely to kill again. Well, it's good most of the time." I reply.
"Exactly how long did you stay with Spencer?" Emmett raises an eyebrow.
"Shut up, and it was only two days." I deadpan. He smirks before wrapping an arm around me.
"You're still too tame." Jasper mutters.

"It's still too risky. We won't be gone long." Emmett says. I cross my arms nd raise an eyebrow.

"No, you don't want to kill Victoria yet. You don't want me to go because you know that I can catch her, and that when I do, I'm going to try to kill her." I state. "That and you don't want the quilettes to find out." He wraps his hands around my waist and pulls me against him.
"And you'll probably try to kill them too." He adds. I roll my eyes and scoff. "If you keep rolling your eyes, they are going to get stuck in your head."
"You've only told me that about a trillion times. And it still hasn't happened yet." I retort.
"It'll happen sooner or later, and whether you like it or not, you're stuck with me for eternity now, so you're going to be hearing it for a long time." He says.
"I think I can handle it." I smile. I stand on my toes slightly, and we kiss. "I love you Emmett."
"I love you too."
"Well you'd better, because you're stuck with me forever, whether you like it or not." I gently push his chest and he laughs.

I jump from the window and take off through the woods. I flip up into a tree and watch them race after the redhead. She jumps over into Quilette territory and Emmett jumps across.
Dumbass.
Victoria starts to get away and I take off after her. She jumps back over the ravine and I catch up to her. She stops and spins around to face me. She gapes at me, the last time she saw me I was human. I smirk before grabbing her and throwing her against a tree. I hear her bones break before she gets up and runs toward me. I flip her over my shoulder then kick her in the side. She grunts then I snap her arm. I step back to see if she's going to get up. She slowly stands then runs off. I look across the ravine and see a flash of reddish, brown fur. I spin on my toes and run back to the house. I jump back through the window and slowly look around. I look out the window to find them just now coming back. I go downstairs and stand at the top of the second staircase.

"I thought I told you to stay here." Emmett says sternly.
"Don't worry, I didn't kill her. Made it pretty damn hard for her to get away, but I didn't kill her." I state.
