Simon's POV

His father sighed.

This is not going righttt!!!!

"It's okay ma'am. It was my fault.I should not have entered the house like that."

"Nonono! And don't call me ma'am. My name is Jasmine,call me that."

"Okay ." I said and looked down.

"Why don't you have dinner with us?" Her mother asked smiling at me.

"Thank you for the offer, ma—Jasmine. But I can't. I am not hungry and I always eat dinner with my mother."

"Such a mamma boy." His father said. And all the three girls looked at him with raised eyebrows and her mother took a step infront of him."I didn't mean it! Sorry Honey. Please." Um! What am I supposed to do.

"Hey Anika! Open the door baby! I bought your favourite icecream." THAT WAS ALEC'S VOICE. WHAT THE HELL!

We all looked at Anika,puzzled.

"Maybe I kind of invited someone over because I thought that you all won't be home tonight."

Violet opened the door and Alec's eyes widened as he saw all of us.

"I guess we should go to the living room." Violet said and we all nodded our heads.

When we entered the living room, his father sat down and so did the others but I didn't do it and I stopped Alec from sitting down and when he raised an eyebrow at me, I indicated towards Violet's father.

Her father smiled at that ,even if it was just for a split second and told us to sit down.

"We should go and prepare some tea for everyone." Anika said and pulled Violet and her mother with her.

Violet sad smiled and muttered a sorry to me and left. How could someone look beautiful just like that?

"Stop giving heart eyes." Alec wispered in my ears. And I stopped looking towards the hallway.

"So,what do you think about my daughter?"

His father asked me.

"Sir,she is beautiful. And I don't mean just her outward beauty. She is beautiful from inside.She radiates happiness.Her name suits her so well.And sir, I am so lucky that I have met her because honestly,she brings out the best in me without even trying."

His father looked at me and nodded.But maybe I saw a small smile in his face or maybe it was just me.

"So, I saw everything. I heard you saying that you don't deserve my daughter then why did you propose to her?"

My whole body was shivering.

God! Help me.

"Sir, because I am ready to be better for her. " I replied.

"So do you think you will Never fight with her?"

"Sir, I would be lying if I say that. But I feel like we could pass through all of that,together."

"Okay! Now you, what was your name again?" Her father looked at Alec and asked.

"Alec Baldwin."Alec said.

"Have you proposed to her?" Her father asked,eyeing him.

"Not yet! But I will do it soon." Alec said and her father nodded.God! Alec was sweating too much.

Not his fault! Violet's father is scary.

"I warn you,both. If they face any pain because of you , I would not have a second thought." He said and even though he did not complete his sentence,we both understood and nodded our heads.

"Now, let's go and drink some tea." He said.

"Oh no! I guess we should leave now." I said and Alec nodded.

"Bullshit." Her father said and smiled a bright smile at us and continued,"Let's go."
