Simon's POV

(Continuation of date)

"In your cafe?" She asked me,when I reached the destination.

"Yes" I said and tried to control my pacing heart. What if she thinks it's wierd? God! Help me.

I got out of my car and reached her side and she took my hands,like before. I opened the cafe's door for her and when she entered the shop , I turned on the lights.

And that's when she noticed everything.

Violet's POV

It was all so magical. Fist the book store and now this?

He had decorated the cafe with fairy lights and candles but there was a particular table that stood out the most,my favourite table,the table where we first intercted with each other,table no.8.

He did all of this for me? What did I do to deserve this?

When we reached near the table ,I saw that all the food were my favourites.

"Thank you" I wispered and squeezed his hands ,which were interwined with mine,like it was a single hand,and he squeezed back. I could not say more.There were tears in my eyes which I was trying to not shed.

He made me sit down and took a seat across me.We talked and ate and I was so happy.He made me so happy.

"Wait a moment . I will quickly go and bring our ice creams.You like the chocolate one right?" He said and asked me and I replied with a nod. I was grinning ear-to-ear. I could not believe this was happening.

He came back soon and placed my ice cream near me and took a seat across me.

"Why do you look so panicked?Are you okay?" I asked when I saw that his facial expressions have changed.

"Yes yes! I am." He replied and told me to start eating.

I was dissatisfied with his answer but didn't push it.

I looked at the table and I noticed a picture near my plate. It was a picture of us,the only picture we took together.

I remember that it was a sunny day and there was someone's birthday going on in my neighborhood and we met . I found out that the girl,whose birthday was going on,was his niece. We were laughing at something ,when the photographer took the photo and told us that we were a cute couple.

I blushed at my thoughts. When I looked at the opposite side of the photo,I noticed a note.

I believe dreams do come true cause mine did today.I adore you with all that I have.It may be too early to say I like you, but I cant keep it a secret. I have never felt this happy before.Don't worry!I won't ask you to be my girlfriend right away but I want to know you better and I want you to know me better. So would you like to give me a chance?

Tears spilled out of my eyes. I couldn't control it anymore.I looked at him and I could see that he was waiting for my answer. But when he looked at my face,he paled.

"Wh—why are you crying? Please don't cry! It's okay if you don't want to do it.Please don't —"

I couldn't bear it, why would I not want it?

"Shut up! Why would I say no?!" I said and hugged him. And he hugged me back after a few moments.It felt so peaceful. Like I was inside a cucoon and he was giving me the warmth that I needed.

"Shut up! Why would I say no?!" She said and before I could reply ,or even process what she said. She hugged me and I was shocked for a moment. But when she squeezed a fraction tighter,my heart beat became normal.If the words didn't explain everything,her hug did.My body melted into her's as every muscle lost its tension to the spring air.

This was life, real life.
